    Party

My family held an 80th birthday celebration at the restaurant. The guests ordered off the menu, mostly duck, and the servers brought a variety of appetizers for the table. They supplied the wine and we brought the cake. The service was outstanding. The success was totally due to their excellent staff. Only a tiny fault was the noise in the rooms. I wish they had a private room for parties. It's definitely our go to neighborhood restaurant though.

Mother's Day! My daughter and I had a really lovely meal. Excellent service and atmosphere. This is a wonderful bistro with creative offerings. We will be back.

I went for Valentines day 4 course dinner and it was spectacular! (I just read a review of the same night with one star... definitely a kook). Everything was perfect, the food was outstanding. My girlfriend said it was the best meal she ever had (that's a huge compliment). I will definitely return

A Fat Duck burger . It was good

We went for a celebration at 6 on a Friday . Not crowded , a few empty tables . Ordered drinks from the drink menu - elderberry lemon vodka for me ( very very tart and a clear color with no elderberry at all in it ) . I wanted something for Fall - but none were on the menu . No special drinks for the season . The menu is nice and small , again , no specials , no special board , we were told of no specials . So we all ordered burgers and drunkin noodles and the salmon $36 for a small small piece of salmon and spinach - very small but tasty . Noodles were sticky and clumsy to eat . The burgers were good . The French fries were amazing ! We were looking for a nice piece of cake or a pumpkin ice cream - but they only had two dessert options . Chocolate mouse in a martini glass for $15 and banana pudding - so we skipped dessert and coffee and went to Dairy Queen . I did ask the waitress about the smoked brisket we saw on Facebook and she explained that that was a special for one night only . It did look delicious ! It is pretty inside . Waitress was ok , she really didn't speak . My drink was toooo tart , wine spritzer was very small , whiskey drink was insultingly small - like one once of whisky in the bottom of the glass . It didn't feel like a " tavern ". And the food did not feel like "fine dining" Seems like a restaurant with an identity crises . The food was good , but with so so many places around , the 8 of us would not go back . We left wishing for pumpkin cake and coffee . We left wanting more .

I saw on Facebook that the Fat Duck opened recently and my mom and I decided to stop by! The food was truly out of this world! Definitely recommend getting the mussels they were the best I have ever had! With any restaurant first opening there will always be kinks but the staff and owners seem to be handling it beautifully. We went on a Wednesday and the place was packed! Our server was incredibly attentive and handled everything like a breeze. I also want to mention the inside of the restaurant is gorgeously decorated. As time continues, this is definitely going to be a very hot spot!

The main entree was Chicken Cristin. I ordered it over pappardelle. It had two pieces of white chicken meat in a sherry wine sauce. It was covered with spinach, mozzarella, artichoke hearts and roasted peppers. It was delicious. For dessert I ordered the Gelato. The said 3 scoops of gelato, however it was 3 small spoonfuls. Order 3 different flavors. Except for the espresso, they all tasted the same. Not worth the money. The meal was very good, disappointed in the dessert I ordered. Service was good and they had off street parking. Would have given it 5 stars except for my dessert .

Today, small, thin piece and the sauce was missing the usual honey sweetness and overly mustardy. Squash barely cooked and a few pieces of asparagus that looked more like string beans. Basically not much on the plate for $33. The service was also bad. The waitress was absent from visiting our table in the beginning , middle and end of our meal, had to ask her for water, she never asked us how our meal was and was, didn't clear our plates etc. it was poor all the way around this trip. Maybe chef was on vacation with the usual servers!!

Let's talk about THIS lobster roll ‍…read more Lenny & Joe's Fish Tale did NOT come to play. That buttered lobster roll is fresh, loaded, and worth the market price--every bite hits. I've had a lot in CT... this one is top tier. So good I finished it and said "yeah, I need another one to go" Friendly staff Indoor/outdoor seating Open year-round Now don't leave without dessert. The ice cream is a MUST Oreo sundae for me, Reese's sundae for the kids... no regrets. Summer = ice cream shack outside Off-season = still inside This place is the whole experience.

Food isn't very tasty…read more This place is great if you have a family and don't care what the food taste like. Lobster roll is bland. $30 for an experience that makes you crave biting into a lemon for flavor. My wife's fish was so dry and flavorless that you would think you are eating a fish sandwich in Arizona. Clam chowder is an insult to New England. It's soupy and not creamy. Only come here if you don't care about spending $$$ for food that genuinely makes you question your life choices. The atmosphere was nice. Service wasn't great but that was understandable given the dinner rush. Owner: i respect that you read feedback and respond. I wanted to love this place but was disappointed. Please include a lemon with your fish dishes. That little of a difference may change a lot of opinions about the food quality here. I'm only writing this because this was my first lobster roll in 2 years and I was heart broken.
