I love this place. It's a great local pub that keeps its kitchen open til 9! wow a rarity on the shoreline. The fish and chips with Guinness beer batter are delicious! Really fantastic service! The food is fairly good. I ordered the flank steak and it was tasty sand tender but it didn't have any sides on the plate with it. Eh! It's a nice place to go and grab a beer. My 5 cheese Mac and cheese was on the bland side. I ate a good portion of it after adding some salt and pepper. My friend had the Buffalo chicken wrap and said it was really good. It was quiet this night, it does get pretty packed as I attempted to go there before and there were no tables available. I want to like this place because it's close to my job and my brothers house and an easy location to grab a quick drink except the service is awful. Everyone there seems to have a chip on their shoulder and the wait time is crazy. The food is sub par at best. Something as simple as a chicken sandwich is something I can make better at home. I grew up in Guilford and remember when this was chips pub 2 which was so unique with tons of pop culture memorabilia and a lot of character. KC pub is so bland and boring and I get it they want their own identity but the place has no identity. I love supporting local business but this place doesn't offer anything that makes me want to come back. I hope this changes someday. read more

What a great find this was! It is tucked away on a side road in town but I'm so glad we discovered it. Unfortunately, I can't remember our servers name but she was awesome! So friendly and attentive to her customers. As far as the food, it was delicious. The nachos were not only a huge portion but some of the best I've had. You certainly get your moneys worth which now a days seems to be hard to find. For the meal, I had their California panini with house made chips. The sandwich was nicely grilled and the chips were addictive. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items! read more

Waited 25 minutes for fountain soda drinks. Felt bad for our server as the bartender was talking SO loud and obnoxiously with bar patrons and completely ignoring the drink orders for the dining room customers. We ordered the house made kettle chips special appetizer and they were cold , chewy and stale. The order of "masterpiece nachos" was just an aluminum container of cold chips and a little melted cheese...no sour cream, no guacamole, no salsa, no jalapeños, and no scallions all as advertised. Our cold chips with some cheese was still $12! Our other order was chicken fingers with buffalo sauce, celery and blue cheese dressings in a small container. The best thing I can say about this dish was the celery was cold and crisp! The chicken was very dry!! Stopped in on the way back to RI from NYC. Not far from the highway but they're BEHIND another business so keep an eye out for the sign - plus there's parking. Outdoor area was a decent size and it's kinda small inside with several tables and a bar area. The bartender was super nice and helpful with selections. We got the chowder, grilled chicken special salad and the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. The chowder was REALLY GOOD and everything else was great too. We'd definitely stop here again! read more

Enjoyable meal. We visited with another couple. Drinks were good although a little on the high price side for the type of restaurant. The portion sizes were very reasonable and prices were fair. I wish they had more entree options but overall very enjoyable. Service was friendly as well. We ordered the following and all were good: flat iron steak sandwich, southwestern chicken salad, Mac and cheese, and pulled pork tower. An okay place. Came here during lunch hour to grab a drink and a small appetizer. First, to get here, you have to drive into an awkward lot in the back of another building and there are about 20 spots. So not much parking to begin with, but thankfully the lot was empty during my visit. I went in and was greeted by the bartender. I ordered a Blue Moon on draft, and some chili for an appetizer. The chili was good. Spicy to what I could take, and it came with tortilla chips. However, I was not asked how my food was, and I could of used some sour cream. So that was a tad disappointing for me. I love sour cream on Mexican dishes so, it would of been nice. The atmosphere is a typical pub. TV to watch, and the dining room in the back of you. Upon receiving my bill, the chili was $8 but the blue moon was $6. To me, a little overpriced for a beer! I enjoyed it, but it is a little on the more expensive side to other places I have been that serve the same size drink. The only reason I went was for an after work gathering, I will opt not to go the next time someone recommends it there. Not only were they rude directly to me, but to our whole group. Staying in Clinton, CT but so glad we drove over to this place about 15 minutes away. I'm always skeptical about new places, as I can be picky, but this place was great. Food: We got potato skins as an app. DELICIOUS. I got the French Dip. DELICIOUS. My mother got the California Panini which she loved, although the cheddar was a bit sharper than she expected. My son got the kids burger and fries which he enjoyed. The house made kettle chips ingot with my meal were delicious as well. Service: Seated right away. pre pandemic this place was amazing and it still has good qualities, fantastic bar to watch sports, cute outdoor patio and family friendly. but eating in is a two hour ordeal, waited an hour for cold potato skins with barely any cheese. for the super bowl we gave it another chance and ordered wings with a couple of apps. the wings looked and tasted like they were cooked a week prior, absolutely no sauce, dry and just bland. we also got an order of nachos which was lacking cheese and came brown guacamole. i know they're hiring for kitchen staff and it's been a struggle but dang their wings used to be excellent! read more

I've been to KC's a number of times for various reasons and always had an enjoyable experience here. In the fall we often go to watch football because there are plenty of tvs and specials. This weekend I just wanted some good wings! Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is always good. They also have popcorn for the tables to snack on even if you are just there having drinks. I ordered the bbq wings and they were excellent. The wings weren't dry and had plenty of bbq sauce in them. Portions were good and prices are reasonable. Very clean. It's tucked away in the back of a little dank looking plaza. You might actually miss it if you drive by too fast. Signage for it could be better but that's literally my only complaint. Absolutely loved this place. Don't let the awkward tired strip mall location discourage you from visiting this gem! My sister works nearby and recommended this place, otherwise I would have blown this pub off, there are plenty of quaint watering holes in Guilford. I should mention the interior is very comfortable and there also is a small deck for outdoor dining. 1. AWESOME MENU with wonderful vegetarian options. 2.
