    Philly Patty Melt

The food was so good. The philly patty melt on Texas toast had the best bread I've ever had. The restaurant is super chill with laid back relaxed vibes

Just not good! 3 flavors and it just was not good.

We are locals and have recommended fat jacks to many. After today we will not do that again. The service was terrible, we were the only people in the restaurant at 210pm on Saturday and were treated as if we were bothering the server. The food, the sauces, just not good. We left everything and will not come back.

We had an early Wednesday night meal, $35.99 for 18 wings and two sides. The buffalo wings were the best. We didn't care for the bourbon sauce or dry rub. Also the deep fried corn was mushy. But the jalepeno poppers and frosty beer glasses were great. Also, thanks for the carrots and celery! Too many restaurants in MB don't bother with those, but they make the plate more appealing. The restaurant did have a funky smell. Time to open the windows and deep clean.

Garlic butter Parmesan. Super buttery and crunchy!!! MUST TRY!

Ok these wings are on the top of my list for the best I have ever had. We only came in to grab a small bite and go, which is what we did, but I am dying to go back!! We only got one flavor, there are several. I must try them all!! Usually when I get wings I nibble on them and don't eat the whole thing. These were VERY crunchy and juicy. I didn't miss a speck.

Any time we're in Myrtle, we stop by FJ's. Edit: EVERY time we're in Myrtle, we stop by FJ's. When did wings get so complicated and fancy? Wings can (and need to) be simple, tasty, and fun! FJ's has cracked the code. Fat Jack's is the mountaintop for wings. Seriously. They check EVERY G-D box. Fresh (versus frozen) Sauces/heat Texture, crunch Presentation (where the H do you find those weird clam shell trays anyway?) Stripped down menu/choices (just enough) If you love wings, FJ's is the one, the only, the best. We loved the wings so much, three of us put down 90! Sidebar: Their hot and bbq flavors are a nice compliment to each other. Thank you, FJ's for always giving us something to look forward to when we're visiting Myrtle Beach!

It has the feel of a local dive or neighborhood diner, and after eating here, it's easy to see why it seems to have such a loyal following. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. Although I can't remember our server's name, the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive, and our food arrived in about five minutes--even on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the cheeseburger with onion rings, while my husband had the double cheeseburger with fries. The burgers absolutely lived up to the hype--juicy, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The fries were good, but the onion rings were the only disappointment. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the burgers. There was plenty of indoor seating, a large bar area, and the classic rock playlist was a nice touch that added to the laid-back atmosphere. If you're looking for a no-frills spot serving outstanding burgers with fast, friendly service, Hamburger Joe's is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

Even though we live in Conway, we're always up for the drive when something promises that classic, no-frills, comfort food experience. From the outside, the place has that slightly worn, local-legend vibe--and if you know, you know: that's usually where the best food hides. Sure enough, the menu didn't disappoint. Helen lit up when she spotted a bologna burger (a rare find!), pairing it with onion rings, while I went straight for their famous cheeseburger with fries, loaded up with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and sautéed onions. The presentation was charmingly simple--everything served on individual paper plates, giving it that laid-back, beachy feel. No fuss, no frills--just good food and good vibes. Helen was absolutely in heaven with her meal, and while my burger had fantastic flavor, the toppings were a bit underwhelming--light on the veggies and missing those sautéed onions I was looking forward to. Still, the core of the burger was solid enough to keep me interested. We're already planning a follow-up visit to their Myrtle Beach location in a few weeks--round two is coming, and this time I won't forget to snap some photos. If you're chasing that authentic, old-school burger joint experience, this spot is definitely worth the trip.
