It had tons of flavor, the burger patty was THICK, and I loved the toppings on the burger. If I had to be super critical, I would say the patty was a little dry, but it was still a good burger! The fries seemed to lack seasoning, but after adding salt they were as good as ever! Love love love the Tuesday bartender! She's so nice and easy to talk to. GOAT was a fun, unexpected find for us! This little bar is located off the Highways Bypass 17 in Murrell's Inlet. We stopped in on a Thursday evening. The bar itself is pretty large, with seating in the back. There were a lot of patrons but it wasn't packed and seating was found with ease. The decor is really cool and a lot of TVs for sports fans. Super big and clean bathrooms which is a huge plus for a sports bar. One thing that was slightly off putting (though maybe not for everyone!) was how dark it was inside. It was so dark we had to use our phone flashlights to see the menu. This wasn't a deterrent and we will certainly be back, but just a little odd. The bartenders were super friendly and fun. We ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp tacos, fried pickles, wings, and onion rings. All delicious! The pickles are flat and long, not medallions, which was unexpected but unique. The tacos were very fresh with large, delicious shrimps tossed in a creamy spicy sauce. The onion rings were the absolute best we have ever had anywhere so those are a must try! Whille I empathize with the medical condition of the woman, it is a crowded event... there are only so many accommodations that can be met. BLUF: It's good but not 5 stars. Service shines though We were in town for a visit and thrilled to find a place close by that was 5 stars. We ordered fried pickles, veggie gyoza and nachos as appetizers. They used stacker-type pickle slices for their fried pickles, and although they were tasty they lost their breading as you picked them up because they bent. The gyoza looked like Costco brand, but it was nicely cooked with a crispy outside. The nachos were quite good, with a tasty and zesty queso sauce. For entrees we got Kani salad, tuna tataki, hot wings and korean wings. The kani salad was a surprise, as it was very fresh and had a great dressing on it. The tuna was cooked well and flavorful. The korean wings are sticky and good. The hot wings were a bit mild and dry, so I asked for and received some more hot sauce. Well, just a word of warning, I think the reason they don't put much of the hot sauce on is that it is QUITE hot. If you ask for extra sauce as I did, apply it a little at a time, don't just dump it on. We didn't get a dessert. On a side note, we brought our dog with us and ate at their outside tables. The tables are basically in an alley between the restaurant and the building next door, and not very appealing to the eye. But it did give us a way to eat with our pup, and we appreciated that. The staff was, to a person, friendly and helpful. They are the best part of the experience there. One of them even snuck out a few slices of bacon for my dog. The Pimento cheese is made in house and is very tasty. The breading is light and not overdone. Well worth a try. I had the G.O.A.T. Burger all the way. My Bride had the Caesar Salad and Chicken Wings. (No Carbs) She really enjoyed them. There are several innovative items on the menu worth exploring. The general manager, JC... Was very rude and discriminatory at the restaurant while we were going to play a game on Tuesday night. We had joined a table of acquaintances and at that table the stools had no backing. I had tried to put another stool there that had a back and he said I wasn't allowed to do that. I have a bad back and I had had a back fusion so I was not able to sit in a stool like that without a back.... I stood for two hours even while I was having dinner... A gentleman across the table 2 or three seats down had a barstool that had a back... And he didn't care about that. So he discriminates against women and against people that have health issues ... he doesn't care about the Customer! It was my back issue. He was rude to us. There was no reason he couldn't have given us a stool with a back as there were many stools were still available... and he spoke very demeaning and down to us. We will not return. Our server Stacy was wonderful... The food was OK... as we were leaving. He came up to the table and saw the other barstool and that somebody was using a barstool at the table said he it as we were leaving. He muttered something under his breath and one of us said how rude he was said I don't really care. We don't need your business anyways... how rude he was ... and it's obvious he doesn't care about his customers... We will be telling our friends all about it ... we won't be back... We would love to hear from the owner of this establishment.. the woman that said something below Julie obviously didn't hear all of it and it had nothing to do about a table.
