My first time having their fat shack sandwich and man did it not disappoint. So many favors along with so many sauces to choose from. The honey jalapeño mustard was great. The 8 inch sandwich was plenty of food. I even had leftovers for lunch the next day. Noticed that they also had milkshakes and I chose the Reese's specialty shake. Will for sure be making more trips to this place. read more

I called them when I didn't get my order on time they did nothing for me when I finally got the food it was cold the burger was dry the fries were greasy and everything was overly salted. read more

I would give 5 but as previous reviews have stated delivery area is way to small. The Fat Shack sandwich is all that and more but please expand delivery area. Late night food is hard to come by in north Denver so this place fills a void but doesn't deliver to most of it. read more

Really good sandwich! I got the Fat Pioneer, however it did not come with fries. It's definitely an expensive place to eat. The deep fried Twinkies were good and the quality of the food was good but I knocked a star down because of the very long wait. They were short staffed. So we ordered today for lunch and we got the fat chance, buffalo tenders, fried pickles and Mac n cheese bites. Everything was great!! Took care of my husband's and I craving. Not worth the hype at all. I ordered the Fat Cow and I was excited because it had everything I loved in it. I was greatly disappointed when I bit into hard bread, overcooked/dry cheese sticks, dry fries, and a vinegary flavor from what was supposedly the buffalo sauce in the sandwich. I usually have have low standards, but this still disappointed me. My sister ordered the burger and claimed that the burger patty was good, but the bun was falling apart everywhere and tasted only like ketchup, pickles, and mustard (like they "put it on, then scraped it off"). She also said the fries were unsalted, dry, and too thick. My mom got the Fat Jersey, which also had hard and cold chicken as well as tough mozzarella sticks. None of us could even finish the second half of our sandwiches, as they were dry, cold, soggy, tough, and unflavored! We ordered shakes as well, and of course, these chocolate ones were way too sugary. We spent a whole $60 on pure disappointment. We wished it would've been better. read more

I ordered from Fat Shack for the first time today and I was having it delivered via DoorDash. I ordered a burger, fries and funnel cake. I received the order within the time frame I was given. That was the only positive thing. Clearly the food was put into a plastic bag and sealed up tight while it was still quite hot. By the time it got to me, inside the bag was actually wet because the steam had no where to go. It's gets much worse. The burger looked good, but I was unable to eat it due to the bun being extremely soggy. When I took it out of the foil, it literally fell through the bottom bun. The French fries were so soggy and cold. Ate one and that was it. The funnel cake pieces, I don't know why they just don't make a normal funnel cake, were way over cooked, they actually tasted burnt, and the pieces were so think. It was more a fritter than a funnel cake. So, I ate none of it. I spent $20 on a burger, fries, and some kind of dessert and didn't eat it. Please STOP putting hot food on a tied up plastic bag. The steam will make it nasty. Just like it did with mine. read more

The guys here were amazing. They cleaned the grill for my dairy allergy kid with no hesitation. It's not often you can find sympathetic chefs but these guys were great. They were friendly and so nice... That's so hard to find these day. The food was also good but not the only reason we'll come back. These boys had great customer service skills. read more

Let me say that there is definitely a "vibe" in this restaurant that you need to be really drunk or really high to enjoy. But, not being either of those things, this review may tend to be a little lackluster. My boyfriend and I went for lunch. The good: price. You certainly get bang for your buck with the lunch special. It's a Hamburger, fries, and drink for less than $6.00. This is what he got. He said the burger was grilled, and had good flavor, and it came with a LOT of fries. You can't eat at McDonalds for that people! And, they deliver close, so you don't have to have the "vibe" for the food. I got the fat bronco - which was recommended for newcomers. It was chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, fries, and marinara. The sandwich itself was large and filling and I only got the 8". I got a combo out of habit, but there were so many fries on the sandwich I could have skipped those. To be honest, I was really looking forward to the mozzarella sticks and marinara, but both of those were lacking. Not in flavor, I mean truly lacking on the sandwich. Each bite had one, fairly thin, mozzarella stick, and there was barely any marinara making the whole thing (especially with the amount of fries) fairly dry, and just tasted dull. I feel confident that had I asked for more marinara, I would have been given it with no objection, but to be honest I was sick that day, and just didn't care enough to ask. The staff was friendly, and asked if everything was ok, and I just said yes, as again, I didn't care enough to ask (and I was almost finished with the sandwich). So, for less than $18, we both ate, and were very full. Again, good price, but didn't make a huge impact, and given the atmosphere (people, not necessarily decor) don't think that we would go back in. Delivery would be the only way to go. read more

Asked for no cheese on burger and it looked like they cooked it with the cheese on and then ripped it off and ended up getting really sick from it. Other than that the chicken tenders and philly steak were good but can't get over the fact that they couldn't remember something as simple as no cheese. It took 45 minutes to get our food. Horrible customer service, staff was unorganized and rude. Will not go back. Upon arrival we waited several minutes for the girl standing at the register to finally say "I'm ready if you are". We placed our order and waited 45 minutes to finally get our food only to have it soggy and Luke warm because it took so long to actually make it that it sat out half made for quite some time due to the fact that they had no organization or preparation system. When I asked what the hold up was I got a rude reply from the girl that it had been a crazy night. They were not busy When we were there. Only 2 other people waiting ( also for a lengthy time) to get their food. I saw 4 people working and no manager and they were all running around clearly confused. This place obviously markets itself to a certain Colorado crowd. I don't count myself as a member of the club but I do love a good cheesesteak. I work near by so I thought I would give them a shot. If I could give a negative star I would. Ordered food on Grubhub only to never have it delivered. The driver called and I gave directions to my home and even sent my location. 45 minutes later I call and get sarcastic answers from the manager as to why they can't deliver the food. I've been thinking about going in here for a while, just to try something new. I guess I can check it off of my bucket list now. I stopped in for lunch, and ordered a cheesesteak. They had a pretty wide variety of sandwiches, but I thought I'd keep it simple for starters. I am still getting the taste of burnt food out of my mouth. Unfortunately it feels like leftovers from last night, As it seems like my sandwich itself wasn't burned. However there was an unmistakable burned taste to my sandwich that I just couldn't stomach. When I took it back, the guy behind the counter simply offered to give me a refund. He said that I was the first customer of the day. That just leads me to believe that the grill was never cleaned properly from the night before. Really sad, because I wanted to like this place. Terrible. Ordered online. Waited for over and hour and a half. First I got a call saying the driver was having a hard time finding my address and I told her my address and she would be there soon. Never heard back from her. Waited for 30 more minutes. Called in asking how much longer it would be and was told the driver said I was over 30 minutes away even though the address I gave her was 10 minutes away. Then got hung up on when I called the driver back. And hung up/ disconnected when I call the restaurant. Then the restaurant added no solution to my problem of waiting over an hour and a half for my food or any real communication as to if I was getting my food or not. Ridiculous. read more

We had to drive to the location to get the food. The MANAGER refused to give us the food we paid for and she refused to give us a refund. I heard about Fat Shack and had no idea. What do they serve? I finally got to look at a menu and I was so ready to try it! They have a variety of foods (fried and not) and very unique sandwiches! I tried their 'fat slob' sandwich (funny to order on the phone) first, and zucchini sticks with marinara. They were both pretty damn good! Since then Ive ordered from there (delivery) at least once a week. Great for when you get off work late and don't want to pick something up or cook. And for you weekend warriors, they delivery late!! Love love love their food. Especially the Fat Doobie and fried macaroni triangles. Me and my dad went there spur of the moment one day and were immediately hooked, and been telling all our friends about it. Only reasons I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is for one that some of the employees can be jerks, as another review mentioned they can be short and have an attitude like you're bothering them.
