Decided to give In-N-Out a try to see how it compares to Whataburger and Shake shack. Good sign is how busy it is.This location definitely draws a crowd. The restaurant lobby is bright and clean. I had a double cheeseburger and fries. It was a good burger. The fries were just ok. Overall a good visit and i would definitely return. Not sure i think it is better than the Shake Shack or Whataburger but definitely gives them a run for their money. After coming to In N Out for a while now, I can finally say I have a go-to order and the fries are actually very delicious if you order it correctly. For me, the bread doesn't add anything to a burger so replacing with lettuce has been easier on my stomach and I don't feel bloated afterwards. This order was inspired from TikTok. My go to order: 3x1 protein style, whole grilled onions, chopped chilis, and spread. Sometimes I'll order a 3x1 protein animal style. Order fries light well! Emphasis on the light well!! This is a good enough burger and the fries come out crispy like other places. Because they use fresh potatoes and make it as you order, by default, the fries are cooked light. So when you ask for light well, they cook it a little longer. You may wait longer for your order but it's worth it because the fries are delicious. As far as location, service is friendly and you can usually find a table by the time you get your order. During lunch, there's a rush and the drive through lines are long. read more

In and Out burger is always a consistently good experience. I had the double burger combo and all was as good as the last time I was there. The place is almost always busy and the car line was very long. I ate inside and recieved my order in about 10 minutes. Inside can be a bit hectic with out busy it can be but with enough patience you should be able to grab a table! The double cheeseburger is still just as good as I remember as was the animal style fries (get it well done to reduce the sogginess!). This line moved steadily. We got in the drive thru and they have two employees under an umbrella handling two cars at a time. After your order is placed you move on to the payment window and then pick up. On this visit, we all got Double Double's animal style, standard fries and drinks. I had unsweetened iced tea while the other two had pink lemonade. They asked if we would be dining in our car to which we replied yes. This is a nice touch, instead of putting everything in a bag, our burgers were in a carrier, the fries were together in a box, we were given place mats, napkins, and a carrier for our drinks. This place gets busy be prepared to wait even though it's fast food; but hey there are a handful of these west coast speciality fast food restaurants in Denver. Yes they sell clothes and it's kind of trendy shall I say? I always do a double double fries unsalted then squeeze the banana pepper on the fries and maybe some black pepper as well. Nothing bad to ever say about In-N-Out Burger. They just need more of them. I'm from California and go to In-N-Out all the time, but this was my first time visiting the Denver location. Incredibly fast to get through this drive-thru, even with probably 30 cars in front of me. Our order was spot on except they forgot the chop Chili's on one out of five of our burgers. Everything else that we ordered special was perfect... Like crispy fries and animal style and how we wanted our shakes,. Staff was great here as well. Super friendly and helpful. The food is best hot, so just eat inside. There is inside and outside seating with heaters. Prices are great and the beef is fresh, never frozen. The fries are also fresh, hand cut, and are really tasty! I like my fries well done (extra crispy). Two grilled patties with melted American cheese layered between grilled onions. The patties were hot and juicy, and the onions were cooked to perfection! Went there on 10/14/23. First time sitting inside this location. And as to expect it is a madhouse! They are always busy and all the tables are full. They have a few patio tables. We were able to get some seats right next to the window. Yes, their fries are not good, haha. That's why you have to eat them first and get them animal style to get some flavor on them.
