So actually I love this place, when it serves during it's working hours. Too many times, including today, the machines were running but the bar was closed down. I went out of my way to drive there just to get a hurricane during working hours. Today's excuse from the guy working there, no lights. Hmmm...machines churning, the entire GSR was lit, hallway, machines, emergency lights not on...he was hand pulling a cart. I offered to pay exact cash said he had no cash box. Must have been because his lights were off. I'm thinking somebody was angry at not being given a break and he made his own. Or, there a power outage in a very tiny storage room behind the daquerie bar that didn't affect the rest of the GSR. He was so very sorry though which totally made up for the customer's inconvenience. My recommendation, do NOT make a special trip to GSR just for a daquerie. Can't find it? It's located downstairs across from Johnny Rockets. You can find an escalator that goes directly there from the bowling alley. I got the "Cotton Candy", which was swirls of Blue Raspberry and Peach Bellini. You can't go wrong! However, definitely try to drink it before it melts. When we walked in, she welcomed us, and we asked if we could have a small sample to taste a drink before ordering. She told us they don't do that anymore, which we respected, so we went ahead and purchased our drinks. About 35 minutes later, we watched a white customer walk up and ask for a sample--and Jordan gave it to him right away. That was extremely upsetting to witness, especially after being told "no" ourselves. This isn't about the sample--it's about fairness and respect. To deny us and then turn around and grant the exact same request to someone else, based on who they are, is wrong. Customers should be treated equally, period. This left us with a very negative impression of Fat Tuesday. I hope management takes this seriously, addresses the inconsistency, and makes sure every customer is treated with the same level of respect! read more

This had the equivalent of seven shots and we were told it's the best bang for your buck for alcohol in the area. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, recommended various flavor combinations depending on our preference. Also pointed out which combinations will get you more drunk and which you're less likely to taste the alcohol in. We picked one of his recommendations that tasted like sweet tarts.
