Great sandwiches and huge portions. The employees are very knowledgeable about their menu and provided great recommendations.

I think this might be the most incredible sandwich I have ever had and I am a bit of a sandwich snob. This sandwich was what I always wanted Al'Anitico Vinaio to be but never was, and could never dream of being. The inside is your typical deli counter/sandwich shop setup. Nothing fancy and not trying to be. The "Hamma Mia" was on the most perfect focaccia I have ever had on a sandwich. Extremely fresh and fluffy, they said it takes 3 days to make! The artichoke cream and homemade motz are two of the freshest ingredients again, that I think I have had. Flabbergasted is honestly the only word I have for how good this place was. Will definitely be my go to local sando place from now on. Cant wait to try their other offerings. Staff was super helpful and made a recommendation based on "if you had to pick 1." Go try them out!

    The muffuletta!!!

Stopped by for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Placed a to go order and it was the hit of the day. Service was very good fast, friendly and efficient. Nice little deli shop with the bomb sandwich's. I got the muffuletta served hot. And it was off the charts with meat and flavor.

My new favorite restaurant in Nashville! My husband and I LOVE soft pretzels, and Fatbelly absolutely did not disappoint. Parking is free! Which is amazing. Plus, the cashier was SO friendly and kind. The line was long for the entire 30 minutes we were there on Saturday afternoon. We got the Lango, which was an amazing cold roast beef sandwich on a pretzel hoagie. The horseradish mustard was great, and the hoagie was yummy, too. However, the hot Muffaletta still wins top pick in my heart. My husband got the cinnamon sugar pretzel with icing, which he loved. I enjoyed the salted pretzel with the jalapeño buttermilk FBP dip, which was sooo delicious. I have a feeling we will become regulars soon, and I'm eager to try the $2 day old cream cheese pretzel danish I snagged. You must try Fatbelly if you love pretzels!

Salted Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookie (look how thick and scrumptious)

If you're alive and breathing this is a nonnegotiable requirement not only to order an amazingly delicious sandwhich but ordering from the bakery as well. Treat yourself! I don't think I understood until now why people would order sandwiches for a meal. I was mind-blown, truly. My Hamma Mia! was the best sandwhich I've eaten in Tennessee. The focaccia, PERFECTION. I ordered two cookies the salted chocolate chip pretzel chunk cookie and the Pumpkin Pie cookie. The Deli Gods have blessed this establishment because the cookies sent me to heaven. Truly phenomenally executed! This establishment rings true to what East Nashville is all about. Notes: Parking lot was full but there was quick turnaround and I was able to find a parking spot in under 2 minutes, as soon as you walk in you will find yourself in line to order there is a menu overhead the counter to order from (you can also order ahead and pick up - that's what I did), one sandwich is enough to split (but you might not want to share) there is a grab and go station with variety of drinks and sides made from scratch, as well as seating indoors! Humble establishment with great vibes inside! I loved the interior! Will definitely be bringing everyone I know here!

My sandwich the K-Dub was absolutely delicious. Piled high with plenty of fresh cut vegetables, protein, and potato chips just to name a few packed with TONS of flavor. I arrived around lunch time and the line was out the door. Don't worry though it moves very quickly. Tons of soda and juice options to pick from. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly. Plenty of seating inside and the bathroom was really clean. Definitely be back next time I am in Nashville.

Stumbled upon this place as a pretzel lover and was not disappointed. I got their salted pretzel and bacon cheddar stuffed pretzel with jalapeño butter and pimento cheese on the side. The salted pretzel had a great texture and was not overwhelmingly salty. It paired super well with the rich, creamy pimento cheese and that jalapeño butter which added a great kick. The bacon cheddar stuffed pretzel was a savory delight. The staff were super friendly and made you feel welcomed right away. Would definitely come back. 4.8/5

You know when you're just craving homemade bread? Googled best sandwiches in Nashville and Fatbelly Pretzel popped up... I was sold as soon as I saw that they had focaccia bread. We are so glad we got to try the Hamma Mia with salami, ham, hummus, mozzarella bedded between two slices of the best focaccia I've had outside of Italy. We went with the blondie for the dessert and snuck in a few bites before our sandwich..Amazing!! The sea salt and dark chocolate chips with buttery goodness. I'm a sweets person and love a good blondie. The owner came up and gave my dog some bacon and brought over a bowl with water for him which was really kind. It's the little big things that make a sandwich place your new go-to and Fatbelly one me over today! From the hand painted murals on the walls, amble indoor and some outdoor seating, free parking and vibez!! Thanks Fatbelly, I'm telling all my friends about you and will be dreaming about your food!!

A solid sandwich experience in east Nashville. Quick and convenient service, not to mention delicious. The store front has lots of fun drink options, unique chip choices and a fair amount of tables. Good place for a quick lunch while you're enjoying east Nashville!

Cinnamon sugar pretzel, jalapeño cheddar pretzel, blueberry cream cheese danish, and thin & crispy cookie (ridiculously good)
    Parker S.

We swung by here to pickup some goodies and try out a new place, and I'm glad we did! Service was fantastic, and they have a few seating options inside. The pretzels were all very soft and delicious. Both the cinnamon sugar and jalapeño cheddar I would highly recommend. The danish was okay, but I dont think I'd order one again. The real star of the show though... The thin & crispy cookie. It was a perfectly caramelized chocolate chip cookie and absolutely huge too. Definitely worth picking up some items to eat here. I've also heard they have great sandwiches, but haven't had the opportunity to try any. We look forward to coming back for more!

After coming here for the first time in my 4 years in Nashville, I can say that the KDUB sandwich is one of my favorites in the city! I love the avocado and ruffles added as a welcomed addition to a classic turkey club type of sub. Add in that it is all on a fresh Dutch roll and it is a chefs kiss! Proper levels of savory and tangy with all the toppings that make this sandwich what it is and texturally complex. The staff was busy but attentive and patient with everyone even during the Saturday lunch rush. The owners are front and center working with all the staff at the counter and in the kitchen prepping all the food and adding to the hospitality and small business feel that makes you enjoy spending your time and money at a place like this. It is a nice touch that they have a dip come with any pretzel ordered. The pepperoni stuffed pretzel was solid heated up, but for me was lacking the option of a marinara type sauce to dip it in. The everything bagel is properly seasoned the way I like it not sparing a bit of open space on the surface and fully covered in seasoning. These pretzels are unique in shape and have you wanting to come back and try all the different varieties, both regular and special unique danish and dessert pretzel infusions. I will definitely be back to try other sandwiches and desserts!

Walking in I felt like what it would be like walking into a NY deli. The woman at the register where we gave our order greeted us with a big smile and a happy hello. The baked case looked amazing! We ordered the KDub, "cupcake"cake dessert, and a chocolate chip pretzel crunch cookie. We took a seat and was greeted by Levon (I think) the owner and had a nice conversation with him. We were served our sandwich and it was almost as big as my head! Flavor was great and I loved the potato chip crunch in the middle. Definitely give this place a try.

Not sure how I've been sleeping on this place for the last year ... heed my review and don't make the same mistakes I have! Fatbelly Pretzel is the deli East Nashville needs - and their sandwiches and customer service standout among others in the neighborhood. I placed an order to-go on my drive back from downtown, and was told my sandwiches would be ready in 35-40 minutes. On a whim, I decided to stop in early and see if they were ready. Sure enough, my order had just been bagged up for me! A team member also greeted me when I arrived and was so friendly! The inside of the restaurant is adorable - exactly the classic deli vibes you'd picture from the name. I couldn't resist the KDUB - the description sounded like an elevated Turkey Club, and that's exactly what it is! Heads-up that this is a very mustardy sandwich - but I love mustard so that was no issue for me. Also - if you think the menu prices are a little steep, you'll be pleased to know that this sandwich is enormous. Plenty to share, or to make another meal! My husband ordered the Hot Muffaletta and was extremely pleased. I think it's safe to say we have a new favorite deli in East Nashville.
