Been to Nashville many a time and not quite sure how I missed this place. I have a nose for breweries but this time TailGate Brewery didn't escape me. Great atmosphere & solid music as well. Legitimately the music playing in house is enough to keep me coming back beyond the beer & the simple menu. Quite happy that they had the Travelers Championship Golf Tournament round #4 on. Always an added plus when an establishment shows some appreciation for the Greatest Game Ever Played. Lastly, but most impressive AMAZING craft beer selection, phenomenal staff who were cool, friendly & great to chat with. The food was pretty solid, and I had a small pizza (Cheese, Pepperoni & Black Olives) along with the buffalo wings which were darn near perfect if not so. Highly recommend, and my only issue is that it was slightly slow on the service but the recovery was how well they made up for it by being honest, genuine & authentic. Great work TailGate Brewery, I will be back!
Been here multiple times and still make sure that the group I'm with adds this to their stop list. Always a great drink selection, pizza is 15 out of 10, and the workers are awesome. This time in particular, my luck had it out for me and a beer I really wanted ran out when the glass was only about 10% full. I got to keep it, which was nice, but they pulled the piece of wood down and let me erase it! How cool is that? My group bullied me about it that I always select a beer that ends up being out of stock, but it was a great memory from our recent trip. One day I'll make it to the other TailGate but the Music Row one is top tier and gets just busy enough to be manageable. Never have I been here and people are pouring out of the doors which is good for the experience.
Great place to grab a beer and watch a game. The staff was great and it's a very chill vibe which for a brewery, it better be. The food is great but the lunch specials are where it's at! Any sandwich for $10 cannot be beat. The sandwiches are delicious and massive, definitely big enough to share if you desire to. Probably one of my favorite places in Nashville.
Great beer, great food! TailGate Brewery did not disappoint! The local beers were all phenomenal. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The Garlic Knockers can't be missed! Was also a fan of the whipped ricotta pizza. The small size is the perfect portion for an individual. And don't let the weather fool you, the patio space is fantastic even in the colder months.
The service at Tailgate Brewing was absolutely amazing!! We appreciated that the bar staff took the time to explain the different beers and drinks to our group. Also, they offer table service even on the outside patio. What was really amazing is the server heard me say my phone was dead and she offered to charge it for me. Wow, I was so impressed. Without a phone in Nashville you are pretty much dead in the water. She saved the day! Regarding the drinks, I was looking for something non-alcoholic and decided on the cotton candy dirty soda. It was good, but needed more cotton candy flavor. The outside patio is absolutely amazing with non covered and covered seating. We enjoyed sitting in the sunshine and watching the big screen TV.
I Iove Tailgate. The staff are always nice. I love the pizza and the garlic knockers are so yum. However recently I ordered my usual margarita to go and it was so incredibly bare mostly just sauce and as you can see only sauce on some of the slices. I was disappointed because I didn't have time that to go back to have it fixed. I'm posting two photos so you can see the difference between a previous pizza versus the pizza I had this time .
We came in here to simply get a T-shirt and behold, I now dream about their beer as I returned home to another state. Honestly, I'm not even really a beer person but their Orangu Tang Sour was the best craft beer I've ever tried. Their taster pours were pretty much 3/4 of a full glass and every one we chose was outstanding! I pray one day they would make this available in Colorado. We bought some beer to take back to our hotel room as well. Additionally, the staff were so kind and helpful answering all our questions and making great recommendations. My only regret is that I didn't try the pizza however, every one that I stalked on other peoples table looked outstanding and made me slightly jealous!
This place was easy to find and easy to park on a Monday night, but I can imagine on busy nights that isn't the case. There is a small parking light right in the side of it which you have to pay by the hour ($9.25 an hour) and it's immediately out of a traffic circle. You walk in and seat yourself and then order at the bar and they bring you your food. They have some good beers available and fun drinks if you get there early enough but we got there at 8 pm and they were out of all martinis which was a little weird. So we got beer and a mimosa. Both were decent. We got the Tennessee golden ale and something like a triple hazy IPA and they were both good. As for pizza you can get pretty much any kind of pizza but they also have specialty pizzas with set toppings which are delicious sounding. We ordered a meat lovers, the birria pizza, and a pineapple and hot honey pizza. They were all good but not out of this world. The meat lovers was good, would order again- had Canadian bacon, bacon, sausage slices, and pepperoni on it. The birria was also good, unique, had birria, cilantro, and lime on it with birria sauce on the side. It was good but not sure if I would order it again. The pineapple and hot honey was good but really heavy on the honey. Oh we also got appetizers, onion rings and pretzel bites. Both were A+! The prices were okay -nothing not expected at craft pizza place - A little high though and you have to pay for anything extra you can think of. You have to pay for red pepper and ranch and Parmesan which I personally find annoying but I get because some people get crazy with them. All in all I wouldn't come back alone or with m family I don't think but if someone else invited me I would eat here. (I'm from out of town though so take this with a grain of salt)

There had been a storm just a couple hours before so I thought maybe it was cancelled after all? Hubby mentioned it when he paid our tab. NOPE. The trivia is played out in the other patio room. WHAT? No one told me this. No signs, no info, no announcements nothing. I was really sad to miss it because we had planned our night for that in particular. Sooo if you're wanting trivia, go outside. With that sad little bit out of the way, we still love you Tailgate.
Another Nashville staple that mostly lives up to the hype. Not a beer person but the pizza was calling my name. Crust is perfectly golden while being chewy and crisp at the same time. The sausage and pepperoni both had unique flavors that were delicious. I did find the sauce to be pretty bland which is disappointing. The garlic knockers were also delicious, though definitely pricey. Overall a good time and a chill environment
Super cool local brewery and pizza joint. The staff were outstanding. Very welcoming and comfortable to first timers. We had a flight of beer and the delicious pizza of the month (chicken, corn, hatch chilies, bacon and we subbed bbq sauce for the white garlic). Great time and a short, pleasant walk from the convention center area.
Great tap room with top notch pizza and so many screens to watch any sport imaginable. Staff here is friendly and make sure to join the mug club if you come here often!

Was in Nashville for business, out on a run and saw this place. Walked in to check it out, and was greeted at the door by a hipster. We exchanged pleasantries and he informed me that Wednesday is actually 1/2 pizza day.... I said SOLD and came back 2 hours later. I had a 'Detroit Style' pizza and a couple of their own IPAS. The pizza was outstanding, as was the pint.. 9/10 would recommend! read more

Great customer service, it almost felt like there were too many workers but is that ever actually a problem for the customer!?!? Good selection of nice cold beer and we had their buffalo chicken dip pizza which was well flavored and hit the spot! Nice fun little semi-quiet atmosphere. read more

Highly recommended this place. The pizza that we had was amazing. Honestly one of the best pizzas we have ever had. Perfect mix of flavors. We had the "hot honey" pizza but substituted the sausage for hot chicken. It was amazing. The other people with us had the "whipped ricotta" pizza and they loved theirs too. Quality/Quantity - For a brewery in a "tourist" area, it sure felt like home here. Sports day today; the 49ers played and lost... Tried a few tasters and settled on a Session IPA. My daughter got a Sounds Strawberry Lemonade Shady. She could not finish it, so I had to help her. It was actually not bad, but still not my type of drink as it was a cider or sour. Atmosphere - "Two" floors. Main floor - Indoors with TVs all around, sports bar! Second floor = outdoor patio, also some BIG screen TVs, see pictures. What a cool spot to hang out, or at least finish our night. Well, after they closed at 9pm, we walked down the block to check out all the other MANY bars/clubs. Many promotions and discounts, see all my pictures. Service - 5 stars, welcoming and patient. Price - $15 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2014 and with your 8 locations. This is the second or 3rd location we have now been to. read more

Great selection of beer. We had some great hazy IPA's! DDH and Home Run were excellent. We shared a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and boneless buffalo wings. After a few bite of the sandwich my mouth was really burning, but it was worth it! Wings were calmer and great with the blue cheese dip. read more

My bf & I are visiting Nashville for the first time & this was our first stop! Very close to our hotel so we took a quick scooter ride over on a Friday afternoon. It had a local vibe to it & I love that. We both ordered a flight - mine was a cider flight & my bf's was a beer flight. My bf also asked the bartender to pick the beers for him (the menu was overwhelming!) We also ordered a "make your own" pizza - Detroit style with pepperoni, jalapeños, & extra cheese. 1 Cider flight - I ordered all 4 ciders that were offered - Tailgate cider, blueberry cider, raspberry cider, & pumpkin pie cider (seasonal). My favorite was definitely the Tailgate cider! I wasn't a huge fan of the other 3 but I'm still glad I tried it all, so I know what to order next time. 2. Beer flight - My bf got Dragon's Gold, ruby grapefruit, Adoption ale (I think?), & pumpkin roll. His favorite was Dragon's Gold! 3. Detroit pizza - This was DELICIOUS!! I wish they did not add the extra marinara sauce on top, as I feel it took away from the rest of the pizza, but we just wiped it off so not a big deal! Definitely a great first stop! read more

Overall nice experience. When you walk in, you go up to the bar and order. They will give you a number and you find your own table and get your own drinks. We ordered a pizza, salad, and garlic knockers. It was very loud in the restaurant so it was hard to order. We sat outside on the patio, and enjoyed some live music. Everything here is self serve so if you need something, you have to go to the bar and get it. Food was pretty good. However they did mess up our salad due to not hearing the order correctly (again the music was loud). Very friendly staff and they fixed the mistake immediately. Many people were sitting and working while enjoying a beer. Cool place definitely check it out if you are in the area. Large selection of beers! read more

Great selection of beers at a great price! The passion fruit guava and mimosa ciders were both very good and the rice crispy sour. The garlic knots are full of flavor and garlic which I love. The pizzas are also tasty. We got cheese with the honey whipped ricotta and loved it! It comes with so much ricotta so if you aren't a big fan of ricotta I'd recommend something else. read more

Visiting breweries is one of my things. In Nashville for a conference and after finally getting out of my hotel, friends and I walked here. Fairly close from Loews Vanderbilt. Fairly quiet for a Monday night. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Cool stuff on the walls. Impressive beer list. See the pic. Options abound and there were several sours so you know I got a flight. Aside from one that just wasn't to my taste, all were great. I got the Turkey Rachel sandwich and it was huge and delicious. And some seriously awesome fries. A friend got a pizza and it smelled amazing. You order at the bar and it comes to your table. Quick and super friendly service. And no hard time about splitting the bill at the end. read more

Came in about 30 minutes before they closed. The bartenders were still friendly and cool and took the time to explain the different types of beers to us. Since we got there so late, we didn't order any food, but the food on the menu looked pretty tasty. They also have a bunch of TV's where you can watch different sports. They have a pretty good selection of beers and I got the Peanut butter milk stout and it was really good. We stayed after closing time and we weren't rushed to leave, which I appreciate a lot. It's too bad im only here for a few days and we came so late, but I wish I could come back when it is really busy because it seems like this place would have a really cool vibe. read more
