The old days of Walmart having half a dozen Huffy bikes on a rack are long gone. Today's bikes are serious business, with some costing hundreds and even thousands of dollars. Impulse buyers by nature, our trip for a helmet also found us bringing home new pedals, some wheel pegs for doing tricks, and a tube of grease that cost more than what I use in my truck. Truth be told, I've used this shop before when I used to mountain biking and trail riding, their prices are fair, the staff is knowledgeable, and they have a great selection, with bikes, tools, gears, and a full service shop on site.?

When I asked how much for the repair he says3 different numbers without a total which would total approximately $70 was his quote. I agreed and he said it would be about an hour and would text me when it was finished.about 80-90 mins later I went into the store and the bike was not touched. He said the bike wasn't ready yet and I said clearly. He didn't apologize and was condescending stating he would've called me if it was. I said you told me an hour and I thought maybe he didn't have my correct number. He was like I will text you when it's ready and could not give me a time.The long and the short was he had the attitude that if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else. SO I DID. I went 5 blocks down the road to Conte Bike shop and the tech had me in and out in 10 minutes and said my tire was fine. $33 and done verses $70 quote and a waste of time. I know where I will go for my Bicycle needs and will not be at Treks.

It's nice to deal with people who care about what they do and bend over backwards to help the customer. That's why they've been in business since 1957. Mark was really helpful on how to use the bike. interestingly enough, you do need to pedal the electric part just makes it a little bit easier. If you know this part of Palm Beach, there's so much to see. I would never do this in the winter time it's so crowded but if you're here in the summer what a fun thing it is to do. It's not cheap!

They spent a lot of time with me helping to make a decision on which model would be best for my wife and me. I decided to go with the XP Lite and XP 2.0 which seemed to be the best models for us.
