My wife, Step-Daughter, and myself came here for Father's day. Neither of us had been to a FatCats. We figured this would be an easy fun trip and a way to stay cool. In short, the arcade games are fun a blast. The miniture golf, EGHHHHH I'd skip it don't bother unless you have preteens. The bowling lanes, you'll never if its busy get a chance. My issue wasn't though with the facility, amenities, etc. My issue was with the customer service, the actual face to face customer service by these kids working there. The cashier that helped us, I wanted to ask "Why are you such in a sh@tty mood? Get your @ss home!" The other people basically same attitude, but I'm older and don't expect that generation to be any better. read more

I've gotten the military discount before and was impressed. Now, if you order one of their bundles they do not apply the discount to the bundle. They separate it to full price items and apply the discount. May sound trivial but changes what would be a good discount to about a dollar off of the bundled price. read more

Went there to watch a movie and order food at the concession stand. After an hour still did not get my order. Went to the counter and they obviously knew which order because they said my order and were going to work on it. Asked for a refund and they got a manager who was extremely rude, said they had 300 people there and then asked for a receipt which I no longer had. They obviously knew the order but she was hassling me about the order. She tried to refund only half the order and had to do a second refund for the other item missed. Missed a portion of the movie having to deal with them. Staff is definitely unorganized and rude. read more

What an interesting name to call a movie theater, bowling alley, and arcade. We came here to see Wicked at a cheaper rate. Service was fast and was able to get good seats for the movie. I like how spacious this place is. They have lots of parking and it's clean too. I like how it's near my house so I can go the movies anytime I want. read more

Went to Fat Cats to see Avatar. When you walk in it is very loud with all of the games and people. We did not get any concessions but saw there were a lot of really good offerings. The seats in the theatre were comfortable, the sound was great. Bathrooms were close and clean. This is an eat in theatre so there are tables attached to the seats. It would be nice to be able to put them down if you aren't using them.. read more

Went for bowling, you have to expect there to be a lot of screaming kids running around - so I'll say met expectations. Our bowling lane wasn't working well - missing pins, frozen lane - inaccurate scoring. We reported to the front desk the 2 times we were completely able to bowl - mentioned the scoring issue and it was explained the cameras were not aimed correctly - no plan to fix it, so...... The bowling balls are very beat up considering the age of the facility and appears maintenance is generally poor. Didn't try the food but it looked good from what we saw. Happy Hour drink specials were the highlight. If bowling is your priority - I'd stick to a bowling alley. If you want decent bar food and solid drink specials, this is a decent option. Came strictly for the mini golf. $5 a person for 9 holes of mini golf. Took about 20-30 mins to go through but we also weren't playing by the book since we had a 4 year old with us. Cute little course and not over crowded in the mini golf area even with it being a Saturday. The arcade and bowling portion were however extremely packed so definitely thankful we skipped that this time. read more

We ordered food and our first party got theirs after 30 minutes, which was a long wait but fine. 10 minutes after we asked about our order (loaded nachos, sweet potato fries, and mozzarella sticks) they said the nachos were taking a long time. Totally fine. 15 minutes later we asked again and they finally brought us our mozzarella sticks, fries (both cold) and chicken tenders... which we did not order and was not the item that was "taking a long time". They were kind enough to refund us the food as our bowling hour was already up and they were asking us to leave our lane so someone else could use it. Not sure if there was just a miscommunication or what but it was upsetting to not get the right order but also kinda be lied to about it. read more

Purchased tickets ahead for a new movie that was coming out. Cleaned out my purse of receipts forgetting the tickets were in there. I recovered a couple. They were able to reprint them. Another amazing thing, the day of the movie we sat with my mom in the handicap section since my mom doesn't do stairs well. Especially when dark. For some reason we were split up when reserving and we weren't away. A kind lady with a broken leg offered to scoot over one so our group could all sit together. As she was doing so. She spilled all her popcorn. I felt so bad. I went to get her a new one. I shared what had happened and they kindly gave me a bag for her even though I had my card to pay. They are always awesome here. Keep an eye out for free large popcorn coupons in your value pack mailer. Good when you purchase 2 tickets. We are allergic, so we bring them and give them away. They cook the popcorn in coconut oil. Healthy oil unless your allergic. They don't need to improve the mixed drinks at the bar. If they could do that, this place would be even more awesome. Every time I visit FatCats in Surprise, the customer service is unpleasant. It's a cool, fun spot, but the workers are rude and unwelcoming with an attitude. I would purchase everything online if possible just to avoid interacting with the employees, or keep any contact with them as brief as possible. read more

My family & I went to Fat Cats a few times which is about 15-20mins from our home. It's conveniently located at the end of the plaza center of Prasda shopping area down from Footlocker & Kohls. So many stores & restaurants in the area you can choose from as well. Fat Cats have their own area of parking & once you walk in you immediately see the counters to purchase your tickets, or game cards & more. Fat Cats has a movie theater, bowling, games & bar. My only compliant I wish they had lounge seating & not just rocking chairs. On select days that offer specials on glow & the dark mini golfing, half off games & specials on movies. A tip: sign you for their app to earn points on purchases & emails on specials. read more

Bowling at Fatcats was a lot of fun and definitely the highlight of our visit. The atmosphere was lively and made for a good time with friends. The food was just okay--we only tried a few appetizers, and they weren't anything special. The mini golf course was fine but not very challenging, so it's better suited for younger kids or a very casual round. The arcade was a bit disappointing since most of the games were ticket-based rather than classic or interactive arcade games, which limited the overall experience. Overall, Fatcats is a decent spot for bowling, but some of the other attractions could use improvement. read more

I hosted my Fiancé's birthday at Fat Cats today and I cannot say enough incredible things about the entire experience. From the initial inquiry, Mia, helped us plan the perfect party. Then Julie made sure everything was executed perfectly and we had everything we needed and more. Then day of the event, Ariana was our party host and made sure our day went off without a hitch! We had 11 people there ranging from 3 years old to 60 years old and everyone loved the experience. From mini golf, to games and bowling, there's something for everyone. We also got a well-decorated room and really yummy pizza. And all for an incredible price. There isn't anything in the valley that would beat this experience. This place is great to go see a movie. They have a good theater with the most comfortable seats around and I'm somebody who frequently visits Harkins AMC as well nobody beats these seats. The game area is crappy and has gotten worse as they have replaced a lot of of the games with terrible games that are boring ticket games but not fun. Can't speak on the billing alley part as I dont utilize that. Their game area needs work and their movie selection/availability is decent. read more

Absolutely loved coming to fat cats! From the pricing and all the options of food and things to do it's the best place for family outings! They have a whole grill for different foods to order plus your normal theater snacks as well. They have bowling, arcade, and theaters. The seating in the theaters was so comfy and roomy! The kids loved them. The family bathroom also has items for free if needed for your child and women. Definitely will be going back! Thank you! read more

I wish I could do 3.5 stars because it wasn't all that bad, but it wasn't great. Wednesday nights are a good deal, with the bowling special, however, if you are looking for a decent bowling experience, this IS NOT the place! Shoes were more worn than most bowling allies. ALL of the balls were chipped (a big 1/4" chunk even fell off of mine when I grabbed it from the rack). The lanes are not slick at all and I kept getting stuck when releasing the ball down the lane. The sitting area behind the lanes are extremely close, so you get to hear every annoying conversation had by your neighbors. Arcade area was ok. Glow Mini golf was only $2.50 that night and it was something to do to make the time go by. Can't rate the movie theatre but it looked like they had some nights with special pricing. Conclusion: If you come here on a promo night, it's not bad, but I wouldn't come here and pay full price for anything. The bowling was below average, so don't expect much. The kids love this place! It's super loud and constant noise, if you're not into that steer clear. I don't like that the arcade is right by the entrance - as a safety concern but if you're watching your kids it should be fine. Bowling was ok, we had issues with screens freezing so they credited us time back after it got fixed. I don't recommend it for toddlers or younger. It's just ok I wouldn't rush there as my first pick of places to go but my kids love it so I know we will be back. read more

Literally the worst customer service I've ever had. I left my $700 retainer in the theater, walked to my car, and came right back in a couple minutes later. The worker had already thrown it out while she was "cleaning," and then acted like it was no big deal. I asked to go through the trash (because obviously it was mine), and they straight up refused. The girl at the front was rude and inconsiderate saying "oh well we're closed," and even told my boyfriend "we don't keep stuff like that" ... meaning they threw it away on purpose. Like?? This isn't some cheap thing you can replace. It's my dental retainer, it costs hundreds of dollars, and they treated me like it was nothing. Absolutely no empathy, no effort to help, just rude attitudes. I've never been so frustrated with a place. Don't expect this theater to care about you or your belongings, because they clearly don't. read more

We love FatCats. We go strictly for the movies. Always have drink and an appetizer beforehand and people watch. The bartenders are always very personable. The theaters are always very clean. Chairs are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. This is the only place we go for movies. Not the closest to our house but worth the extra travel. read more

When brought to the attention of the Service Manager Leslie Winslow, she was extremely rude, not caring in the least. When asked for her name, she rudely threw her card at me and walked away. The food is expensive but I do like the movie seating and the cupholders and trays honestly, if you come on Tuesday, it's like five dollars to get in. I didn't get to look too much at the food to see if they had any deals. And I typically drink Dr Pepper and the Dr Pepper machine was down so that was disappointing. A group of 5 of us arrived hoping to have drinks and bowl, only to be told we'd only have have 40 minutes to bowl, before they close..... We asked if there'd be a discount because $12pp is typically for 90 minutes. Not 40. They said same price, sorry. As I'm in the car, all the hours I see posted show 11pm on saturdays. Not 9:30. Ended up going back towards home and going to good ol' Main Event. Guess who's open? That's right. I won't be coming back, there were too many people in there to be closing in 40 minutes. read more

Their idea of cosmic bowling is far from what it should be. Food prices are out of control. Food taste/quality is awful (except the French fries were good). The alley broke 3 times. Waiting on and or trying to find staff to help was a chore. When you found someone they acted like they didn't care and took forever to help. We lost almost 15 minutes of our time and even though they finally helped and gave us our time back, at 11 pm, they shut our lane down in the middle of our game. So we still lost out. Booking online and being charged extra for doing so is another issue. Bottom line, staff and food are way behind in what you want and expect for the money you pay. Came here for Father's Day to bowl with the family. They have mini golf, arcade games and bowling, and even a movie theatre. It was my first time at FatCats, so I didn't know what to expect. It was very loud and busy in there. The lanes are all very close next to each other we even had someone run into us while we were bowling. Also we arrived early, and they didn't even let us in our lane on our starting time cause "it wasn't ready", and did not give us additional time to bowl even though they started us late. Our start time was 4pm and it ended right at 5, even though they started us about 10 mins late. You also have to go find bowling balls that are the right size for you, they had small, medium, and large and different weights, and they didn't have enough of the each ball, since they were all being used. So we had to use either one that was way too big and heavy, or extremely small. You also have to share the thing that feeds the balls back with the people next to you, so our balls kept getting swapped or used. They have a bar here, and some food, which wasn't anything too special, but The fries were good. read more

We had a good time at Fat Cats! When the family is all in town we are always looking for fun things to do that can involve everyone from kiddos to grandparents. Fat Cats was a great option for us to get out of the Phoenix heat and still spend quality time together. It's similar to a Main Event or other places like that. You're not going for fine dining or a super boujee adult atmosphere, but it is a good mix of being able to grab a drink while bowling with the fam! Went to FatCats today for a fun afternoon. We opted to go for bowling, pizza and mini golf but the place also offers an arcade and movie theater. We had a great time. The bowling was fun except for the really log time it would take to get help if there was an issue with your lane, because of the wait we lost out on finishing our second game. The pizza was decent arcade style pizza. We had 3 feed a group of 11. As for mini golf it was fun but felt a little rushed since we had groups behind us that felt like they were pressuring us to move faster. All in all this was a fun way to spend a hot day. read more

Great place for a day of fun with the kids! We did a round of glow in the dark mini golf, had lunch, and then hit the arcade section. Mini golf was a great time with 9 different holes and a fun space theme. For lunch we had a pepperoni pizza, pretzel bites, and kids tender meal.
