Took my wife here during the daytime to spend some quality family time on her birthday. While the prices may seem reasonable at first, do note that shoe rentals adds up, and while you are there, you eat and play arcade, so overall expenses comes high. We took the VIP lane that comes with some $7 extra without knowing it all, and once we completed our hour, we realized that VR was never ON for the game. We checked with guest services, and they mentioned that some games only offer that feature, and we selected the wrong game from the console. Well, I wish someone had mentioned that when we initially bought the package. They did not offer any credit or refunds to us. We got multiple foods from there. While the pizza was good but the chicken burger had a bad taste in it and we did not even finish the food. I wouldn't recommend it when Arrowhead Mall has multiple options in the food court.

I came here last September and I had a good experience there. My friends and I went to celebrate a birthday and all we did was karaoke. We were singing for four hours. We had an amazing time and the staff were friendly. The service of the staff was a bit slow and I had to wait a bit longer. My friends and I went on a Tuesday night, which the place was not packed but we still had okay service. Overall, I will come back here but the prices are a bit expensive. I highly recommend coming with a group of friends to prepare to have loads of fun!

What an amazing day! We got there right when it opened at 10:00am. Signed our waivers and paid for the full day pass. The pass allowed us to play all day and leave and return. It also included socks. The whole second floor is included. There was a bull ride, batting cages, trampolines (which were closed) game spaces (soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton and a freebie space! A roller rink with go carts, a VR room, a jungle gym and the arcade. All included. We had 4 kids (5,7, &8) and the played for 4 hours we grabbed lunch and came back for another 1.5 hours. I was shocked that we were not upsold anything, we brought in snacks. Everyone was so kind and it was almost empty so we didn't have to wait for anything! I would come back here anytime!

Family fun for everyone! So many games to play and activities to do there is something for everyone. Come and bowl, sing, game and win prizes while making core memories.

This place is unique! For an arcade I want to say this is a much more unique experience than most arcades I've visited in the valley. For starters there's two levels! I and my party did not go to the top level so I will rate that separate but we did stay in the bottom level. The claw machines were Japanese style games! It was very cool and fun to play some of these machines after watching them be played from overseas. Although they were very hard to get the hang of. Definitely some felt a little too difficult for what you're paying. As for the smaller ones they were quite easy and fun The prizes themselves are all in great condition and there's a vast variety of what you can try to get!! The arcade games themselves were awesome too! Loved the imported Japanese games!! Super addictive and loved how they came with tutorials, worth the chip price and would want to come back for those games. So so fun. Our party tried the bowling alley which in my opinion was not the most affordable lane to go to. But we had a lot of fun regardless and were able to fit 2 games in for 1 hour! The place itself was clean and pretty. The lights sounds and atmosphere all was a very fun vibe. Definitely a more costly trip to play games and win prizes but very successful regardless. I would come back

We were at the mall and decided to stop in and were all super impressed! There are kiosks where you buy a card for $2 which is reloadable and the prices are super reasonable. The spot feels like a casino lol lights, games, sounds. It was not super packed on the weekend and really liked there was plenty of machines so you really didn't have to wait if you wanted to play something specific. They had standard games, VR, claw machines, bowling, batting cages and MORE! This will definitely be a spot the family and I will be going to often during the hot summer!

What a fun stop. We were at the mall picking up some different items and decided to stop and check it out. We loved the VR games. It felt so real. There is definitely something for everyone. They offer birthday parties, food, bowling and more. Prices are steep on some , but all in all you can get quite a lot for around $25-50 with a reloadable card. We had a great time.

This place has a lot to offer all under one roof. When I was a child, this place would have been my ultimate dream destination! Literally near every outing I would have desired (roller rink, bowling, mechanical bull, sport courts, trampoline park, karaoke, indoor playgrounds/ball pit & slides) ... IT IS ALL HERE - IN ONE PLACE. It seems almost too good to be true. Incredible, really. Most all activities mentioned above (except the bowling) are available on the upper level for one admission price. The price does vary (I believe depending on the day of the week and the length of your stay). We did the 90 minutes on a weekday, and that was perfect. I can't remember exactly how much we paid, but I think it was somewhere in the $20-$25 range, and it was a few dollars less for the children. Unlike Slick City where they nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING, this place is great in that the grip socks are included! You don't need to pay more/extra for that. Additionally, the sneakers for use on the basketball, baseball, badminton, and soccer areas are also available for free to all paying guests. I was so pleasantly surprised. Another cool thing is that whilst the kids were playing on the large indoor play structure, the massage chairs for parents watching are free! I have had to pay with a credit card to use chairs like that at competitor's facilities (e.g. uptown jungle) so this was a welcome change. Upstairs, upstairs, we encountered employees Edgar, Kyle, and Polite who were all wonderful. They were kind, patient, and walked us through everything. The only disadvantages to Round 1 are: 1) Spectators need to pay the admission price to access the upstairs activities. 2) Bowling downstairs was crazy expensive. I think it was around $70 for the 4 of us to do the VIP bowling for an hour (after shoe rental and fees). 3) The downstairs arcade is super expensive. Expect your money to go quickly. If your kids are like mine, $100 can be gone w/in about 45 minutes. 4) The employees were neither helpful or friendly downstairs at all. Over all, we had a positive experience, and we will most definitely be back to enjoy the activities on the top floor again soon. **Editing to add that the security at Round 1 is on point. With their own security guards, mall security guards, physical barriers, etc. we felt very safe. This top notch security is in complete contrast to places like Slick City where there is literally no security whatsoever. I don't know why Tricia (Yelper) is complaining about too much security (saying they have everything but TSA agents there). There have been plenty of times my kids have had problems with older kids being too rough in places like this, kids bullying, kids throwing objects at one another, children pushing, or otherwise not following rules/procedures making the experience uncomfortable, not fun, & even dangerous, at times. Also, my best friend was murdered at a young age so I am always very cautious with where I allow my kids to play. I follow true crime, and I shall never forget, for example, what happened to John Walsh's unsuspecting son, Adam, at a Sears department store. If you do not appreciate Round 1's excellent level of security within this busy shopping mall location, then you are, at best, ignorant and do not follow true crime &/or, at worst, (in my opinion), an irresponsible parent for not believing security of this level is warranted. These folks at Round 1 are doing it right.**

If you have sensitivities to light, noise, or crowds, this place will wear you out. If you like riding bulls, playing basketball, pool, air hockey, badminton, or hitting baseballs, this place will wear you out. If you like jumping on trampolines, roller skating, or have small children that like indoor playgrounds, this place will wear everyone out! If you like dropping $100 easily, you will have no problem doing that here. The second floor has all the play options, but to even enter you must pay. Even if you are the parent watching your children, pay up. They give you gripy socks with your entrance fee, but you have to take your shoes off and then put them back on for every activity. Not a huge deal, unless you have a small child unable to tie shoes. The kids will have a blast as long as they follow the rules - they are very strict about their safety rules! No one is going to get hurt if they have anything to do with it. For instance, on the trampolines, you cannot jump backwards, one person per trampoline square, no flips - basically, jumping. This would make for a perfect day out for the kids...get a babysitter to take them to play indoors all day on the top floor. They also have 2 karaoke rooms. You pay extra (on top of the entrance fee) to reserve the room for 40 mins. There are chairs and tables and tvs. There are complimentary massage chairs on the top floor by the play area. They were surprisingly good and high quality! There is also an arcade area included in the entrance fee, but most games have instructions in Japanese, so some weren't intuitive to play. The 90 mins I was upstairs, the employees were friendly, humorous, courteous, and cleaning! They were wiping down chairs, walls, equipment. I loved seeing them work hard and clean!!! Downstairs is like Vegas for kids and kids-at-heart. It is an arcade dream!! And completely overwhelming to the senses: lights and sounds! You do not pay an entrance fee for the downstairs, but to do anything you'll buy a card with credits ($2 initiation fee). Games range from 14 credits down to 6 approximately. They have an enormous selection of claw machines!! If you love the thrill of claw machines, you will be in Heaven! Row after row after row! Between our 2 families, we spent $85 in the credits and left with 4 stuffed animals. Each kid won and all were so happy! I couldn't afford to be a regular here, but it was a fun way to go out as a family and meet up with friends. We didn't eat or drink there - had to find somewhere quiet and wanted to hear each other talk. Upstairs was not loud, just brightly lit. Downstairs was all the noise. Splurge, have fun. There is a lot to do and win!

I am so glad to have a lively place like this as an anchor in Arrowhead Towne Center mall. It has plenty of signage to help explain rates and there seemed to be adequate staffing with security guard, staffed counters and at the bar. I did not order food but was very intrigued by the variety of Japanese items, so it made me want to give it a try next time. Everyone looked like they were having a lot of fun and just looking at the plush critters in the claw machines was fun. If I decide to play, I will need to bring noise canceling earphones though, since although I expect lively sounds in an arcade this was just too much for me and I can't help but wonder if the decibel level needs to be checked so people don't permanently damage their hearing.

Another fun time at Round1 with the family... Place is super clean and the service team is pretty attentive.

Conveniently located right off Grand Ave (US 60) in a little strip mall right in the heart of Surprise. Tons of ample parking for you and some of your closest friends! We were greeted immediately when we walked in. Contrary to what a few of the other reviews have said, you do ** NOT ** need to bring quarters with you. Obviously, you can. But it's not necessary. The nice gentleman running the place today gladly took our $20 bill and give us a few $5 bills back. From there, you can go to their change machine in the back, chuck in your $1 bills or $5 bills and it'll spit out quarters at you. Once you've got your pockets full of quarters, head over to one of the many machines and be prepared to be entertained! It's $1 per game. I know, but this ain't 1984 anymore so a dollar per game checks out. We blew through our $20 in a hair over an hour. It is incredibly clean inside! The machines functioned with no issues at all and I can't stress enough about how clean the machines (and everything) was here at Player 1! If you want to partake in some soda or alcohol, they can serve you up some refreshments while you've got your hands full with a pinball machine. Super fun way to spend a hot summertime afternoon here in Arizona. We will DEFINITELY be back. Such a cool place. Can't recall the last time I saw this many pinball machines lined up in a row. I think I was listening to Van Halen on cassette on my boom box. Highly recommended, friends! Go check them out!

So there we were, headed to Castles N' Coasters a wholesome amusement park in the desert... a place…read morefor families, laughter, and apparently, poor decision-making. Now my buddy this man reaches into his pocket and pulls out what I can only describe as a historical artifact. I'm talking a doobie so big it looked like Bob Marley himself rolled it during a greatest hits tour. I said, "Absolutely not. I am a grown man. I got responsibilities. I got a mortgage. I got snacks at home I haven't even finished yet." That didn't matter. Next thing I know, windows are up, car turns into a Dutch oven of bad decisions, and now I'm just along for the ride literally and spiritually. Somewhere between "this is a bad idea" and "why is everything funny," I lost control of the evening. We pull into the park around that magical time you know, that in-between hour... not quite day, not quite night... like God dimmed the lights and said, "Alright boys, let's see what happens." The whole place is glowing neon lights, arcade buzz, roller coasters rattling in the distance. Felt like walking into a carnival dream... or maybe a fever dream. Jury's still out. Now here's the thing about this place it's been around since the late '70s, sitting right there in Phoenix like a desert time capsule of fun. You got four roller coasters, including the Desert Storm, which sounds fun until you're on it reconsidering every life choice that led you there. Then there's the Patriot wooden, loud, and about as gentle as a bar fight. And somehow... SOMEHOW... we thought tequila beforehand was a good idea. So now we're buzzed, slightly baked against our will, and wandering this park like three philosophers who lost their notes. We're laughing at everything. Nothing's funny but everything's hilarious. A trash can? Comedy gold. A churro? Best thing I've ever eaten in my life. A child running past me? I'm emotionally invested in his journey. But I'll give credit where it's due the park itself? Clean. Staff's friendly. Nobody's judging three grown men giggling like idiots. It's got that old-school charm too arcades, mini golf, rides, the whole deal. You can bring a family here... or whatever version of a situation we were. Now the rides... oh, the rides. Let me tell you something nothing will make you rediscover fear like being slightly out of your mind on a roller coaster you thought you could handle. I got scared... not once... not twice... but a few times. The kind of scared where you start making promises to God you don't intend to keep. "I'll be a better man if I survive this drop..." Didn't mean a word of it. By the end of the night, we had the munchies, the laughs, and just enough dignity left to get back to the car without needing a group meeting. For a couple hours, though? We were kids again. No responsibilities. No stress. Just lights, noise, and pure, ridiculous fun. So yeah Castles N' Coasters might be a family amusement park... but under the right or completely wrong circumstances, it turns into one hell of a story. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just... maybe crack a window on the way there.

That one actually did eat my dollar. I guess it made up for it because a couple people abandoned their games downstairs in the middle, so the bf and I played for "free". It was on someone else's dime, but I guess that counts, too. We got nachos and drinks from the snack bar. Service was quick. As with any family fun event center, food was a bit overpriced. The female bathroom was nasty. I don't know how often they clean them, but there was paper all over the stall floor. The faucets had a lot of buildup on them. Both the male and female restrooms smelled funky. I didn't play at the putt putt section, but one day I'll be back to do that. Overall, a good arcade/food experience. Unfortunately, this place has changed & not for the better (I am sorry to say)…read more We had several issues. When we walked in, we purchased the bowling (amongst other things). The kids wanted to do that first so we walked straight to the bowling (right behind & in close proximity to the front desk). We had been told by the front desk gal we purchased from that the attendant manning the bowling area would get us set up, give us our balls, etc. We walked a few steps over there and it was obvious that employee could not help us as it appeared a lady had been hit in the face with a bowling ball or some other similar medical emergency. Understandably, the employee could not get us set up so we returned to the front desk to ask if that worker we had purchased bowling from could just hand us our balls. We figured since there were 4 lanes, maybe we could play in the one on the far left since incident occurred on the lane to the far right. We were told that we could not bowl (by another employee) due to the incident. We were told we would need to wait to play. I get it, but I wish we had been offered the option of a refund. No such offer. We decided then to go into the playground area, Ballocity, whilst waiting for this incident to clear. We were quite surprised to find that there were multiple buckets collecting water from a ceiling leak INSIDE THE PLAYGROUND AREA! This was completely unsanitary and poses multiple safety hazards (including, but not limited to, slipping and falling, kids playing in the disgusting water, etc.). To make matters worse, my youngest child advised me that there was tons of water on the ground up above in the top level of the play structure!!! Talk about unsafe. I climbed up there myself to validate what he had told me and sure enough it was correct. This entire play structure should be closed until this leaking water situation is corrected. Additionally, many of the games were out of order and not operational. The Sonic Basketball game would still take credits off of cards, but unfortunately, we soon realized that there are not even any balls in the game with which to play. Totally unfortunate. We did not even use all the credits we bought. We got out of there. I hope they are not going to go out of business soon. I am very concerned, from a business standpoint, that they may not be bringing in enough money to maintain their facility. PLEASE LOOK AT MY PHOTOS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

We ordered our food and only got the salmon protein bowl brought out while still missing all the rest of the food for our party of 6. The manager and server were nice and tried their best to figure out what happened. Eventually the staff had said they accidentally dropped the tray of food before bringing it out. It took about 30-40 minutes to actually get our food so always really an hour from when we ordered to when we got our food. I did enjoy the buffalo wings we had as appetizers. I also was not very partial to either the guac or the cauliflower elote as the flavors were a bit bland on those appetizers. Once we got our food they had brought out my sons burger with cheese but we ordered no cheese because he doesn't like it and doesn't know what is good in life so yet another wait for him to actually get his food. I did like the spicy hombre cocktail which is made with an aged tequilla. The staff offered us free desserts and a $10 game card to make up for the food wait and errors. We appreciate that. To top it off I was brought the check on their hand held devices and it was not working so had to wait for the server to bring another to check out. We have been to Dave and Busters many times but this visit was not one we would like to remember. Hopefully next time we have a better experience as I figured it was just an off night.

We do continue to frequent Dave and Buster's despite far from marvelous past experiences…read more One Wednesday night, there was a man present in the arcade wearing a shirt that read "KILL CREW" who had a handgun visible and strapped to his hip. We got the heck out of there SO FAST that night. Super scary ... especially since Dave and Buster's serves alcohol & people frequently indulge too much. Last night. I was eating in a party of 5 with my 2 children among the guests. A drunk lady who was inside an inner tube she had won on the "Human Crane" actually fell into me whilst I was sitting in my booth. This combination of drunken clumsy behavior and firearms in the same environment at the same time is not safe. All of this aside, the reason I am updating my review, primarily, is because of the stellar service provided by our waiter, Braxton, last night. He was genuine and provided excellent service even when presented with the awkwardness of that woman falling on me. We truly appreciated his presentation. He was not at all phony or displaying a superficial personality. We see that all too often from our Dave and Buster's servers so his sincere nature was truly refreshing. When we come back, I hope we have the good fortune of being seated in his section once again. His contributions to our overall experience made the evening so much fun. Thanks Braxton. You, yourself, are a 5 star server.

It was my first time at a drive-in movie theater and I must say that it was a very neat experience!…read more It was set as a surprise actually and I didn't know where we were going until we got there. Partly too since I had fallen asleep on the way which made it even better when I woke up as we turned into the property. We arrived about 30 minutes before our designated show time (10:15p), had enough time to go through entry, get snacks, use the bathroom and park. The signs were mildly confusing so we landed on the wrong screen at first which. Luckily that was an easy correction. You just gotta know by the audio not matching the images. I liked the idea of tuning into an FM station for audio and being able to talk, or even be in a more private space to see the film. It was hard to see the darker scenes though, given some light pollution on nearby areas. That's to be expected for projectors anyways. I would love to be able to do this again soon.

What a Magical Evening. A huge and can't thank you enough…read morejust wouldn't be enough to Richard and his team here at West Wind. As this was our first time visiting and coming from out of town for a Birthday getaway. The birthday lady is every bit of deserving and wanted to do something super special for her. After by chance and luck being able to connect with Richard, he bent over backwards to make the night as special and magical as ever. We also got lucky and got to catch some live military training. The birthday lady is from Indiana so knows a good drive-in she says. This is one of if not her favorite drive-in spots and we will be returning. Thank you so much again Richard. We are forever grateful.
