Oh man. Hand me my white tube socks and my cut-off Def Leppard t-shirt because we're off to play some pinball!! Man, this really brought me back. Conveniently located right off Grand Ave (US 60) in a little strip mall right in the heart of Surprise. Tons of ample parking for you and some of your closest friends! We were greeted immediately when we walked in. Contrary to what a few of the other reviews have said, you do ** NOT ** need to bring quarters with you. Obviously, you can. But it's not necessary. The nice gentleman running the place today gladly took our $20 bill and give us a few $5 bills back. From there, you can go to their change machine in the back, chuck in your $1 bills or $5 bills and it'll spit out quarters at you. Once you've got your pockets full of quarters, head over to one of the many machines and be prepared to be entertained! It's $1 per game. I know, but this ain't 1984 anymore so a dollar per game checks out. We blew through our $20 in a hair over an hour. It is incredibly clean inside! The machines functioned with no issues at all and I can't stress enough about how clean the machines (and everything) was here at Player 1! If you want to partake in some soda or alcohol, they can serve you up some refreshments while you've got your hands full with a pinball machine. Super fun way to spend a hot summertime afternoon here in Arizona. We will DEFINITELY be back. Such a cool place. Can't recall the last time I saw this many pinball machines lined up in a row. Player 1 Arcade doesn't serve food, but they offer fun! I love beer sours, and they had four options, one on tap. The blueberry warhead sour was phenomenal. Service was great; we chatted. They had childhood games like Street Fighter, Galaga and Elvira. Check the murals in all three bathrooms (different themes). My favorite was the Take on Me mural, but Bowie, Prince and Ghostbusters are cool too. They had Beastie Boys. It's not loud, but not crowded on Sunday. They have a pinball league. What a rad little spot! All but two games were in service, everything was a dollar to play or maybe a little more for some games, and the painted murals in the back hallway and in the bathrooms were STUNNING. So incredibly well done! Great beer options, but there is no food/snacks that we noticed. The owner was friendly; this place has been open for 3 years. Came in with my husband for the first time and we loved it! Solid beer menu with fun craft options at reasonable prices and great game options as well. I played multiple rounds of pinball and he did the same, plus several arcade games. The bartender was friendly and checked back on us to refill our drinks. There were a handful of other adults plus a few families there too but it wasn't crazy loud and still a perfect fun daytime date for us. Cool new place in surprise! Old skool arcade with beer taps! Lots of games to play and lots of pinball too!! Friendly staff to boot! Giving five stars even though they don't have two of my favorite games, tempest and Mickey Thompson's off-road racing. But! They have super astroids and Mortal Kombat! We went to celebrate a friends birthday. Happy hour was from 3-7pm - excellent drink prices. They have a really cool selection of pinball and retro arcade games. I visited in January 2022 and as of June 2022 I still can't stop thinking about this place. While looking up things to do in the area this popped up on the list. This was the highlight of the trip! Full of arcade games and a bar! They had beer on tap and canned/bottled. Maybe mixed drinks too but I didn't ask or pay attention. There was a special on a local beer that we were test guinea pigs for. I think it was cherry flavored but I enjoyed it and had several. Now the coolest part: the bathrooms. I can't believe I'm telling fellow Yelpers they must visit for a bathroom....... But I won't spoil the surprise. Check out the sinks in between 2 of the bathrooms. I think the owner was Kevin, if I have that correct then he was a great addition to our experience. He took the time to approach us, explain some things, and recommend things as well. The only downside is visiting on one of the last days so we weren't able to come back. Another downside is not having a place like this locally. Everything about this place was incredible. Though my anxiety was through the roof before going in, I'm so glad I did. Those reading this need to visit on my behalf. read more

Super fun spot for a date night. They have probably 15 different pinball machines along with 15 other various arcade games to play. Each machine is $1 per play, there is a deal to put in more money for an extra game which makes it worth it. Beer on tap is available as well as canned options. There is bar seating as well as some tables behind the pinball machines. I would definitely visit again but I wish the game prices were a little cheaper, I feel like people would stay around drinking and playing for longer. read more

Had a great time! My boyfriend and I always passed by the sign that said "arcade" and then went inside to check it out!!! We only had about an hour to hangout, but there's a bar inside. Also an ATM to get cash out, then a machine that gives you tokens. There's tons of pinball!! Also two of the games are free play(meaning unlimited play without pay) The vibe inside is fun and exciting! Except we were a little sad since we went back again and realized they are closed on Wednesdays, which was a little bit of a let down. But we will definitely be back again!!! Date night was about $30 with drinks(a little over an hour), also had leftover tokens!!!
