We've had great experiences with Wild Fork so far, since our first visit... We stopped by on Memorial Day weekend just to pickup some meat we wanted to grill. They just happened to be grilling some jumbo beef hotdogs and burgers, and of course they were passing them out! We were just about to go and pickup some lunch afterwards, so we showed up hungry and we're glad we did! Enjoyed them so much, we ended up buying some too. Also picked up some wings, sweet breads organic ground beef & various other cuts of meat. We spent less than we usually do at other grocery stores & the quality is way better. Great store containing huge selection of beef,chicken.seafood,and ready to eat products. Well laid out with refrigerated fixtures. Wall mounted and floor positioned. The prices are very good. All product is flash frozen and sealed individually. Everything is accessible and well marked. My only regret is that I didn't stop here earlier! Thanks to Michelle for her cheerful help and knowledge. Fortunately I had just spotted Carlesbade Yelper Peter"PI" I post on Wild Fork just hours before I needed to buy meat. I was on the hunt for a variety of types of steak in order to help my grandson learn to properly prepare what he has available. I was passing right by the Wylie Texas store and stopped in for a few things. It's been awhile since my visit to the Frisco shop and I'd forgotten how great they are. All types of frozen meats and seafoods in literally any incarnation you need. They even had a perfect goose I'll throw in the freezer for upcoming holiday feast. I tried some outside skirt steak at the Plano food and wine festival and I had to drop in and buy me some outside skirt steak! I am a food content creator and I made some bomb steak quesadillas with a skirt steak. One of the employees was very nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in the store and asked me if he could help me and led me straight to the outside skirt steak and talked to me through some of the other cuts of me as well. The store was clean and items were easy to find. I'll definitely be back! I used Wild Fork for a while now and enjoyed their products. I am very disappointed with the company they use for delivery. Roadie is unpredictable at best. I've had orders stolen by their drivers (more than once), delivered to the wrong house, and out of every delivery, I can only remember two times it got here before the end of the time slot chosen. I'm still a big fan of Wild forks meats and seafood. Unfortunately, I cannot go out to any of their stores because I am a caregiver to a family member. I recommended Wild Fork to friends and family. Great place to get specialty meats that aren't commonly found in grocery stores. I purchased an organic turkey here for thanksgiving! I checked some other stores (Kroger, Sprouts, Trader Joe's), and Wild Fork had the best price. The meats are frozen though - so keep that in mind for your cooking plans! read more

Overall thoughts: surprisingly really reasonable prices (better than Kroger and your local grocery chains!!) for organic/grass fed frozen meats. Service: the man ringing us up was really nice and made us feel welcomed since it was our first time here. Selection: 1) MEATS/ they have so many random meat selections that you would not normally find at a local grocery store (e.g., bison meat, wagyu, ostrich, etc.). Keep in mind that all the meats are frozen. 2) FRIDGE/ they have a handful of items in the fridge that you can purchase for an easy meal if you are in a time crunch. 3) DESSERTS/ they have macaroons, gelato, cheesecakes, etc. 4) SEAFOOD/ nice selection of assorted frozen fish, shrimps, oysters, crabs, lobsters. 5) FRIED/CHEAT MEALS/ they have a lot of easy guilty pleasures like piggies in a blanket, onion rings, fries, pizza rolls, etc. The store was clean, bright, and really well stocked! read more

Tiny grocery store full of frozen food. Fantastic concept! Meat & seafood is flash frozen so no worries about freezer burn. Its close to Thanksgiving and the turkeys are 98 cents a pound. They had a wide range of vegetables, fruit and potatoes. The offered dry seasoning as well as frozen ones like garlic, turmeric, parsley, etc. A dozen decent desserts too! read more

I'd love to gatekeep this place honestly. I live it so much I can't get enough. Everything in here is frozen and does not appear to be dyed red. It's always really quiet in here and you get better quality of meat comparable to grocery store prices depending on what you are getting. The only thing I saw that was way over priced (to me) was the frozen chicken cutlets they were about $14 I can't remember if it had rib meat or not but my objective was to get the chicken without the rib meat and it was more than I wanted to spend personally. But outside of that I thoroughly enjoy shopping and seeing the real color of meat! Also employees are always nice and greet you when you come in. read more

I was fed up with the steaks and chickens that use to be good in grocery stores. Upon entering the store, the staff was so nice. We purchased rib eye steaks, chicken and oxtails. I just cooked oxtails last night. Hubby and I agree these were the best oxtails we had. I can't wait to see what the chicken and steaks offer. Really cool concept that delivers on quality and price. I go here for salmon and crab cakes, but it also offers a full selection of meats and vegetables that are affordable and (for some selections) hard to get anywhere else around (think bone marrow). These people screwed up my order and gave it to somebody else and then gave themselves a $25 tip on top of that their customer service called and asked why I gave him a one star review and I told him that I don't do business with companies they create problems. read more

My favorite new grocery store! It is a little different that it's all frozen, but the prices reflect that and they have so many choices you would never see in a regular grocer. You just have to plan your meals a little in advance:) read more
