Got contacted swiftly after sending them an email. The owner, Darin, came out to give us one estimate. Received the estimate after a day and based on that and some other concerns we had aesthetics wise, we modified our plans and he came out a second time to recalculate. Received that new estimate the next day and we okayed it. He scheduled the delivery date for the day before the work was to begin. He had a discussion with the delivery company and they felt uncomfortable driving the forklift and pallets over our septic system, so they delivered at the street. The workers showed up the next day and finished under five hours. So happy we had it done! read more

**Warning...Do not use this company!!!** This is a lengthy post, but worth your time if you are considering using this company. I first starting using FAS approximately 5 years ago for general mowing and lawn maintenance. At first the service was ok, charging me a rate of $100 a month, which in my mind means $25 per cut, if they are mowing once a week. However, when the winter months rolled around, and the necessity to mow was diminished to 1-2 times per month, they still wanted to charge me the full $100 per month. When I addressed this with the owner Darin, he claimed that this was common practice and the only way they could make money with the business in the winter months. Needless to say, this was never mentioned to me when I contracted with them, and the idea of paying for service I didn't receive sounded deceitful. In addition, their continued degraded service (missing patches of grass, running over debris/trash with the mower and not picking up the pieces) led me to cease service with them. Now I have a reputable landscaper who only charges me by the cut, not a recurring monthly charge. Fast forward to April 2020, despite my better judgement, I decided to utilize FAS again, this time to replace some large sections of my yard that were being infested with wild Bermuda. I had been told by Evergreen and Heron that the only way to eradicate the Bermuda would be to spray Roundup in the yard, remove the sod and then treat with Roundup again before the sod was laid. Karson, the owner's son came to my home to give me an estimate ($1600.00) to lay two pallets of St. Augustine and told me at that time that they would also spray the yard twice before laying new sod. So fast forward two weeks, and the man they hired to spray the herbicide on my yard shows up. Despite having the areas to be sprayed properly marked and flagged, the man sprayed an existing healthy patch of grass with herbicide, requiring it to now be replaced. After the herbicide had a chance to kill the surface grass, I received a call from the owner Darin. He stated that he had the opportunity to get some "good sod" and in order to risk not loosing it he would need to skip the second Roundup treatment and lay the new sod as soon as the old sod was removed. He told me that if the Bermuda came back right away in the new sod he would "make it right". So following the new sod replacement I had Evergreen treat it and almost doubled my water bill keeping it properly watered to ensure it would take. ONLY TWO MONTHS later the Bermuda was back. My technician from Evergreen stated that it looked like the grass had been down for three years the Bermuda was so bad, and claimed that it is always common practice to spray Bermuda at least twice in order to ensure it doesn't infiltrate any new sod right away. In addition, several areas have failed to take and died out already. For two months I have been trying to get FAS to stand by their work, and even texted numerous photos and videos to the owner showing the infestation being back. Darin came to my home after I marked all the areas with Bermuda with marking paint and still had the nerve to claim it wasn't that bad. He claims that the dead areas are from drought he damage, despite the areas threat weren't replaced with his sod being fine. It's gotten to the point where FAS refuses to warranty their work and the owner has even told me to stop texting him. Ironic, considering their website claims to treat their customers like "family". I don't know anyone that could ethically run a business like this, let alone treat "family" this way. Stay away from FAS friends! read more

Overestimate of certain materials. In fairness adjustment was subsequently made but not until I made issue of the estimated or delivered amount. I'd likely use them again but would scrutinize things a little more closely than I did the first time. read more

Where do I begin? I texted this co because the website said it was the fastest way to communicate. Over a week later, I was contacted. That should have been my 1st clue. The owner came out and gave me a bid w/o anything written for me... 2nd clue. He said my termite traps would be relocated and don't worry about the sprinkler head. He also suggested I go another row because I was buying a full pallet. I was approved by my HOA and contacted the company again to let them know. They did not remember the color I chose and said the hurricane cleanup was putting them behind, even though the owner said paver installers were not on any cleanup crew, so they could work... 3rd clue. Then the owner stated they needed 50% down and his son would come by Saturday, and the job would be done Sunday. I rearranged 2 appointments so I would be available. No one showed and no phone call...4th clue. The owner called me Sunday and stated the installer had a BD party and could not do the job, but he would do it Monday. On Monday, 2 workers showed up w/o any written instructions, no knowledge of removing and hauling the old patio stones and no command of the English language. I tried to tell them about the termite traps, but to no avail. I also tried to explain that the pavers should go around the sprinkler but they used sign language to tell me it should be cut! I left to go the the rescheduled appointment and saw they were done. The sprinkler head was askew so I asked them to cut out around it. Of course, they did not understand me, so I dug out some cement and sand in case I had to replace it. The son came by and said they needed payment... NOW. I wanted to charge it and he complained they would prefer a check because they had to pay a fee for credit. He sent me the bill via email... and it was not detailed... in fact it said "Lawn Service" I asked for a detailed bill, like I always do so I would have a stock #, or company color. That way if I sell, the buyers can hire them again. I have done this with a tree service, hot water install, and roller blinds ... all small companies who didn't even need to be asked about details. I complained to the owner when he called and he told me they needed to be paid ... NOW because they had suppliers that needed to be paid. I asked him where the termite traps were ... his response? They're only $20 and have a piece of wood in them ... no big deal. Well, they have a cylinder of termidor that a termite will carry back to their area and it will kill the colony. His response to the skewed sprinkler ... would you like to hire us to relocate it? Also he said(yelled) he would come over that night and bust out a paver if that made me happy. A small business owner who wants repeat business would have said ... "I'll come over tomorrow and let's talk about this. I might not have a solution, but I want to see for myself." NOPE. He did contact Massey Services and they will replace the traps and I withheld $200 until that happens. I was not happy at all to be yelled at and told about finances he needed to have or the completed job that the owner said was "fantastic" even though he never came to see it. read more
