My dryer hadn't been ventilating properly for a while. I had called multiple plumbers to come out as my dryer sits in a closet in my hallway which has the dryer ventilating through the wall and under the slab to come back up by my front door. I had found what seemed like a lot of water when I tried to vacuum it out. None of the plumbers were able to assist with the issue, they most common response I received was they didn't have the proper equipment. When I reached out to Father and Sons, they were quick to respond. I had them clean out both my air ducts and dryer ducts. They showed up on time explained to my what they were going to do and gave me an approximate time to complete the maintenance - which was spot on. I had an appointment with Father and Sons Dryer Vent cleaning, and they promptly arrived and were quite professional. Joe and James explained issues that occur with dryer ducts and how some companies use nylon brushes that don't always clean the ducts properly. They used steel brushes and also repaired one seam that needed aluminum tape. Joe also checked the backpressure and flow, which was impressive. Joe explained the temperature differential when drying and even potential rodent issues. A guard is now installed and preventing such intrusion. Joe and James are true professionals and a pleasure to talk to. Booking an appointment is easy and yes like a fine dining restaurant there is a wait to get in, so just be patient. I was kept up to date about the appointment and arrival. They showed up, got the job done and even fixed some duct work to make sure everything was sealed and good to go.
