First a disclaimer. I consider myself a competent home handyman, and tackle most repairs, be they automotive, electrical, carpentry, electronic and plumbing. Finding replacement parts can be relatively facile, given the local big box stores, and in recent years, the burgeoning on line retails. We have had to make plumbing repairs on houses built over 40 years ago, and here is where Faucet Parts comes into play. My first experience was the simple repair of leaking bathroom faucets. I could not find replacement parts for the aged faucet at the big box store, so I called Faucet Parts. They had me take a photo of the faucet and at their counter, they immediately identified the manufacturer of the unit,and sold the needed parts: repair completed. My second experience was a bit more complicated. The issue was a leaking shower head, again in an aging house. Taking the single handle stem apart, significant force was needed to free the stem...and then...a sickening CRACK could be heard. Unfortunately, the stem was shattered, and as I learned, a replacement was no longer available. That would mean tearing the tile from the wall and replacing the entire shower valves and body! Luckily, an older gentleman (the owner I presume) overheard my dilemma at the counter, and then constructed a new stem with salvaged parts that he had on hand. The install worked perfectly, saving me several more dollars and hours to replace the whole unit. I am unsure about the previous reviews that told of unhelpful staff and pricing, but my experience was decidedly different and very positive. I walk in the store and put the broken parts on the counter and they came back in less than a minute with the correct replacements. Could I have saved a few dollars buying online? Yes but I needed the parts immediately and I wanted it fix now not in two or three days. I pay for convenience and not having to do the job twice. read more

We're great supply house. So happy your friend of mine recommended them. Needed two cartridges from Valley, three Roman tub valve fixtures and rolled in there. Showed the guy at the desk when I had immediately recognized it went back in 10 seconds later came back with two cartridges $4.71 each. Couldn't have been smoother and obviously they have great inventory. Gentleman was extremely professional and friendly, thanking me for my business. Needed a new cartridge for a kitchen faucet that Lowe's and Home Depot didn't have. Got here and the lady at the counter took one look at the old cartridge and knew what I needed and got for me right away. I will be back when I am in need of more parts. STAY AWAY! These people are swindlers! Went in to get new cartridges for my kitchen sink. They "informed" me of the part I needed (it was the wrong part, wrong part number!) I had the original part in hand and they could NOT match it. When they brought out the "new" cartridge, the package was open and obviously was used. It didn't work when installed. Called a friend who was a professional plumber and he said I was ripped off! They charged me DOUBLE the price and it was not even the correct cartridge. When I returned they tried to tell me that any item that was "installed" would NOT be refunded even though they sold me a part that was opened and installed! Plus, they charge a 25% restock fee. These people are the worst. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. You will be sorry. I was! Never again! read more

I had a leak on my older house and none of the local Home Depot or Lowes had what I needed. The cold water handle was not sealing well. Took apart just the cold handle valve and took what I had to Faucet Parts. They knew exactly what I needed and even recommended to replace another part that I didn't see and noticed the first time I took apart the handle. They told me that it was ideal to replace the one for the hot water and the one that controls where the water flows for shower or bath. I'm so grateful for them not only for having the parts I needed, but for that recommendation! They truly know exactly what they are talking about! Stay far away from this place. You can get the same thing at Home Depot or Lowe's much cheaper! Not sure why they are still in business. If you need specialty items not at the big box stores, you have Ferguson or Moore Supply. There is no reason to charge restocking fees and or 100% markups. Time for them to finally close down and ride off into the sunset. read more

They were quick to get to me, were very knowledgeable about the part I brought in for replacement--a push-button sprayer/aerator from a kitchen faucet--and within just a few minutes had me walking out with a very good-looking replacement part, even though my faucet is over ten years old! Horrible customer service! Old man was very rude. I purchased a faucet part ( which the old man suggested to use) turned out to be the wrong part. I went back to the store to return the part and he would not give me the full refund. They have a very good selection but over priced and bad store policies. read more

They have the same cheaply made items as the Big Box stores but marked way up! Don't even think of calling and asking a question. If you get the little older guy he will just say he doesn't understand what you want (NO MATTER HOW SIMPLE IT IS OR HOW WELL YOU EXPLAIN IT!) I purchased an extraction tool from them for $35 (because I needed it) Of course it didn't work and cannot be returned and I later found out that everyone else sells the same item and same brand for $5 to $7. I needed a screw for a faucet handle, they would only sell me a complete plastic handle for $12 Don't get me wrong I support Mom & Pop businesses but when they start to gouge you just because they can.... I'll go somewhere else. read more

Way over price, not a good place to do business with 6 years ago in 2012 I bought Moen part # 1225B for $25.11 each. Today on 1/7/2019 I bought the same part (Moen part # 1225B) for $41.30. I went home and checked on Amazon, the same part can be bought for $9.19. So if you can wait a day or two for your part, buy on-line do not go to this store. They really know how to rip you off. I tried Guadalupe, Lowes and HomeDepot and couldn't find the part I needed even though Lowes and Home Depot both sent me home with items I had to return for a refund. As a home owner, I was having trouble finding anyone who knew anything about the faucet in my shower/tub. Home Depot and Lowe's folks were helpful but couldn't tell me what brand of faucet I had and therefore couldn't help me know what replacement valve would work to stop the constant dripping. I stopped in at Faucet Parts and they could tell me all about my "Valley" brand faucet and have all the parts I needed. They also we're great at telling me how to use the parts and tricks needed to perform the repairs correctly. read more
