After a brief google and Yelp search, I decided to try out The Bronzetique and I was not let down! The studio was super easy to find w the helpful directions given, and I was even able to be seen a bit early which was fab. Stefani was extremely thorough w the airbrush and we had a great conversation too! After showering, I could immediately tell that this was one of the best quality tans I've ever had, the color was perfect and exactly what I was looking for and it was SO even throughout! I had my event last night, and the color hasn't faded at all (got my tan on Tuesday morning so it's been about 3 days). It felt like she was so close I could literally feel the spray going on in one line instead of a broad spray. I noticed it looked weird before I left and asked about it. Was told it would wash away. It did not. The young woman was super sweet and I don't fault her for learning on the job. I fault the owner who did not give any advisement when I booked the appointment at full price that it would be an artist that is still learning. I'm very disappointed by the service and the lack of transparency when making appointments. It is a disservice to customers. Im so embarrassed by my hands, which are hard to hide. I am such a big fan of Jake and recently listened to a podcast in where she talks about striving to provide the best customer experience. Her team failed to live up to that promise. I think it may have been a lack of communication issue. I really do hope that's all it was. I scheduled a make up appointment the day of. I called the location and confirmed date and time. I live an hour away and was looking forward to being glammed up at The Body Labb with a MUA I had heard/seen so many great things about. I arrive to my appointment right on time. I had called ahead to advise them I would be maybe 3 minutes late and the young lady who answered the phone was so polite and said to not worry about it. So there was notification of me still planning on arriving to said appointment. No one greets me and the MUA I booked with had someone in the chair. I assumed maybe that appointment was late and it was about to finish up. I don't know anything about make up so I could not determine if it was half way in or almost done. After 35 minutes of waiting I finally said I was such time appointment and asked the MUA if i had some time to run to the store to grab something to drink. The MUA states yes. I go and purchase the drink only to come back and have the MUA tell me they are feeling ill and cannot take care of me. This is 45 minutes after my scheduled time. The person offered to have the other MUA work on me but that person had a few people there. I felt like if I accepted I would be an inconvenience and I would also be pushing my upcoming plans even more behind. My original person apologized and offered a discount for the next time I book and was very polite. I would've really appreciated a phone call to cancel the appointment if the person was feeling ill. I was there for 50 minutes total with no idea that my appointment would not take place. I could've tried getting in somewhere else. I declined the offer of the other MUA taking care of me because at that point I felt that i would be pushing my plans back even more. When I called to advise them on the probability of being late, I would've appreciated them to tell me that the appointment was canceled due to illness. I would've been understanding of that even if I was already close by. Maybe the MUA didn't relay the message of leaving for the day to the young lady who answered the phone. I hope this never happens to anyone else and this simply was an off day.

I want to caution anyone considering this business: there is false advertising on their website…read more They prominently highlight a button that says your first airbrush spray tan is free. However, when I went in for my appointment and checked out, I was charged $60 for a service that was advertised as free. I tried every way possible to resolve this: I emailed, sent a DM through Instagram, and called (their voicemail box was completely full). After seven days of calling, I finally reached someone. Instead of honoring their advertised offer, I was told that "at the very bottom of the appointment confirmation email" it states that the service isn't actually free. I never saw this disclaimer, and frankly, if the promotion is plastered on the website, it should be clear and upfront--not hidden in fine print. They refused to refund me. This is misleading and very poor customer service. Triple check before you go in--first-time clients do NOT actually get a free service despite what their website leads you to believe.
