Love the open concept, cozy vibes. Burger was great, loved the curry dipping sauce w the fresh fries. Empanadas were good, had packed filling but mildly dry pastry. Love the Arcadium bar being next door. Main complaint is food feels overpriced

This place is tiny but the food was fantastic! We stopped by on a Saturday evening (around 5:30ish) after a recommendation from a coworker. They were only taking reservations at that point but they offered to bring us food if we sat in the bar (Arcadium) which was super nice of them. The actual restaurant itself had about 6 counter seats and a larger table that sat maybe 6-8, so definitely plan ahead if you want a reservation. We tried the empanadas (black bean), chicky wings, and stoofvlees. The empanadas were cooked well but we wanted a bit more flavor from them; the chili sauce they came with was spicy and delicious though. The Chicky wings were SO GOOD! Perfectly crispy and had great flavor. The real star was the stoofvlees, which was reminiscent of a poutine without the cheese curds. It was amazing, the meat melted in your mouth, the fries were crispy, and it was a perfect meal for a cold night. We were both full after everything and the portions were pretty generous so you could definitely split a few things. I think the menu changes so I can't wait to try something else next time.

I almost don't want to write a review for this place because if everyone else finds it, there won't be space for me! This is a very small place with limited seating (call/reserve ahead) but the food is new, local, unique and SUPERB. Really, an enthusiast's dream. Get your drinks going in the back door of Arcadia after you place your order. Don't go here because it is maybe the best food in town and there isn't much seating and I need space at the bar! Don't take my seat!

THE gem of Lexington! Heard of Favor through word of mouth and blew expectations. Try every dish while you can since the menu rotates based on the passionate chef who you see perform on his stage (the kitchen) as you eat. The most perfect spot.

This place is a little gem! I've seen several people talk about this place and it's been on the list. First off it's a really cute little place, indoor seating is small bar style seating and a newly built outdoor patio. The building is talk and the tree gives you a nice shade and a variety of tables allow small or large groups. There are two ways to order, first through toast or going in and ordering. The staff was super friendly, answered all of our questions, and checked on us several times. We tried a few items and everything we had was great with good pricing! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items there as I had really only seen people posting about the burgers. The tempura asparagus was delicious with a flavorful light batter and the sauce is the best tempura sauce I've had! The cheeseburger reminds me of an in and out style burger, perfectly cooked and crispy. Their special sauce mixed with what I think is a fresh bun, flavorful burger and crunch lettuce and onions was the perfect Friday night burger. Oooh the fries, thin and perfectly cooked with curry ketchup that I didn't expect to like put it over the top! I could have eaten the whole order by myself. The surprise of it all was the bunuelos, it took me straight back to being in San Antonio Texas for a perfectly cooked crispy and cinnamon treat. I highly recommend going if you haven't been.

One of the most unique dining experiences in town! Small kitchen with one chef and one server. Definitely not a good place for big groups but it's an adorable place for a small date night or double date. Their burger was phenomenal, and their beet dip and watermelon salad were so fresh and light. You could tell everything was made from scratch

Favor never disappoints. Small. Intimate. Delicious. Highly recommend the Compressed Melon and Sweet Corn Pasta. Luckily I was able to get the Mexican Hot Chocolate Ice Cream before the new menu change! Always a fantastic variety that is seasonally curated.

What a phenomenal find on the Northside of downtown...the food was excellent in every way( with lots of healthy options including an endive salad/ butternut squash/ turnips all to die for) with meatier selections like my daughter's perfect burger and the best fries I have ever eaten served with curry ketchup. The empanadas with daily changes to the fillings and an ever evolving menu by chef Wyatt along with friendly staff ( Sarah and Sean) make this the best new restaurant in town!

This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.

This was from the February 2026 menu…read more I can't begin to stay enough nice things about Millstone. From the ambiance, the staff, the chef, and of course the food; going and experiencing what they have to offer ranks among the top places in Lexington. With no shortage of well crafted, elegant, and new restaurants out there in Lexington right now; Millstone excels at elevating the familiar to level that Lexington has been waiting patiently to see. Even a solo visit can feel extraordinary at Millstone. On my visit, Amy M was absolutely amazing, her attention to details and perspectives allowed me to fully enjoy the experience from beginning to end. Before getting to the food, I must admit that the space is truly special. To have such a welcoming and warm environment in a historic location with an addition that feels just as natural as the rest of the building is truly grand. This alone helps you feel so at ease in the space right from the beginning. With my meal, I enjoyed both their schoolhouse old fashioned with house-made bitters and their black manhattan. Both are expertly crafted with care and attention to detail. If bourbon is not your thing, there's a plethora of other cocktails, wines, some beers, and even nonalcoholic options which is also a refreshing change that I welcome all restaurants to embrace. As for my meal, first off you will not be disappointed by any of the portions, everything that I had and saw coming out of the kitchen will leave no one who comes to Millstone hungry. Additionally, the menu is both simple and expansive. There's an offering for just about any appetite. For my starter, I was actually stuck on what starter to get because all of the items sound so good!!! I ended up selecting the crab cakes with fried green tomatoes and let me tell you, they are absolutely delicious. The batter on the tomatoes was perfect, the crab delectable, and the remoulade was very well balanced and provided the right about of heat to the dish. For my main, I had the braised short rib. In full transparency this is one of the pricier entree's but it is absolutely worth it! The short rib is done so well it melts in your mouth! The potatoes are creamy and expertly seasoned to pair so well with braising jus, the honey brussel sprouts, and root vegetables. This dish is a tender love letter that you want to keep reading and enjoying time and time again. Halfway through my meal Chef Tyler even came through the dining room to meet with patrons and talk to them!! As it was earlier in the evening, I was so appreciative to see him interacting with the patrons and when he stopped by it was so nice to speak with him and pay compliments to him, Amy, and everything they're doing at Millstone. To end my visit, I enjoyed the brown butter mascarpone cheesecake. Brown butter is already such a wonderful treat, but to have it with a cheesecake was top notch!!! This was truly a wonderful visit and I can't wait to go back and enjoy another offering from Millstone

The ambiance made it feel like a special place to celebrate. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. The food would have been better if it was seasoned. Way overpriced for the quality given. We were seated at a two-top, and the tables were extremely close together. Unfortunately, we could hear every word of the conversation happening right next to us, which took away from the intimate date-night experience we were hoping for. The drink and bar service was also quite slow. Our dinner ended up taking nearly two hours from start to finish. Overall, the atmosphere was the highlight of our visit, but the seating arrangement and pace of service made the experience less enjoyable than we expected for a special occasion.
