I've been a client of Fawn for about six years and have followed her as she's transitioned from being a part of a well-respected local medi spa into having her own independent business, Fawntastic Skin Care. She's not a johnny-come-lately aesthetician, doesn't use only good-smelling things that lay on the top of your skin. Fawn is the real deal for people interested in quality skin care as part of an overall beauty and health regimine. There aren't enough good things for me to say about what Fawn has done for my skin... she has kept me looking radiant and youthful as i've moved into my fifties. I see her about every six weeks and I firmly believe this is a huge reason everyone says I look 6-10 years younger than I am. I trust her to make the right treatment and service recommendations each time i go in and I have never felt "upcharged" or oversold. In fact, her service fees are extremely competitive and her prices on the same high quality, medi-grade skincare products are significantly less than the medi spas in the area. And oh, can we talk about her technique??? You will never have a more amazing facial massage or a better head and neck massage from an aesthetician anywhere! You'll never feel rushed. You can be chatty or silent and she'll go with the flow. Between the high quality products she uses, the knowledge and technical expertise she provides, the comfortable and pleasant atmosphere of her salon, and the follow-up recommendations she'll give (if you want them), you get more than you pay for from Fawn. My wife and Daughter have been going to Fawn since she was at "that" place in Palo Alto..you know the one that used to be a Radiator Shop across from the Cleaners? Anyhow, both of my girls are very fussy about their skin and I know..because I see the bills. When reading Fawns Yelp reviews, (because I wanted to know what all the fuss was about) I noticed that BOTH of their reviews were placed in the "filtered" reviews. Why Yelp does this makes NO sense... So my advice is two fold..read the reviews for Fawntastic in the filtered review area (at the bottom of the page) and if you are serious and fussy about your face and want someone that satisfies your facial wants and needs, give Fawn a chance. Facials ave been a part of my regimen since leg warmers and side pony tails were all the rage. I can say, without a doubt that Fawn @ Fawntastic is the BEST!! My skin has NEVER been better. Her current locations is convenient and super cozy and relaxing...such a private spa feeling. Fawn is always on time and certainly spends a generous amount of time steaming cleaning, exfoliating, masking and calming my face neck and chest...basically I am NEVER rushed. Each visit is tailored to me and the current condition of my skin. No cookie cutter treatments for me!! Did I mention the massage...OH MY GAWD...worth the visit alone...soooooo relaxing. I've gone to multiple people for facials and every experience has been painful and not at all relaxing like a facial should be!! But then I started going to Fawn 2 years ago and SHE IS FABULOUS! The first facial was painful, but once she gave me the right products for my skin and I started following her orders, and my skin improved dramatically! My skin has been clear for 2 years and the facials are AWESOME! They're slightly painful, but the neck, scalp, and arm massage that come with the facial totally out way the pain! Plus her waxing is FANTASTIC too! I always get small bumps, but ever since she started doing my eyebrows they not only look so much better but the bumps have gone!! Fawn is the BEST when it comes to skin care. She takes her time giving individual attention to my skin. I never feel rushed or have products pushed on me that I'll never use. My fiancee wanted me to get a facial with her prior to our wedding. I've only had one facial previously and felt like it was a waste of money, as that woman had done very little. Fawn, however, really gave me my money's worth. She is very detail oriented and geared the facial to what was needed for my skin rather than some default facial (like I had in Saratoga ten years ago). Plus, the massage at the end made me feel relaxed and calm as if I just took a nice power nap. I would go back to Fawn without hesitation. Absolutely the BEST facial!!!!! I tried about 10 different aestheticians before, the quality and services were not even close to Fawn's. She is a perfectionist who is always up to the highest standards in skin care! Even with my very sensitive and fairly challenging skin, the exfoliations are perfect, very thorough. Fawn is a true gem...her facials are not only a totally relaxing experience, but super effective as well. She is very experienced and does a great job of balancing treatments that make a big impact (microderm abrasion, peels, extractions) with more traditional "spa" facial elements such a massaging in super moisturizing lotions and potions.
