Ok the tires here are a good deal, I will give you that. The ppl in there are working hard and…read moredoing the best they can. However, they are clearly very miserable and there is a reason for that and if you buy tires here, you will find out what that reason is. Really it's two reasons which I will outline here: 1: there is only one line. The line is for: initially, figuring out which tires you want - which you cannot do without all the information from your car and its tires - which you are going to have to leave the line to acquire. When you return, you will wait in the line again before you can give them your information and select your tires. After that, you'll wait for them to put the tires on (which was reasonably fast). Then you will re-enter the building and stand in the line again in order to pay and get your keys back. as you can imagine, this clearly sucks and could be resolved with a second person doing half this job on another one of the register machines that they already have. 2: there is a rear door and (presumably to keep people from stealing using the door to the tire area to escape) , the door has a button in a plastic case that you may press to open the door that sometimes works and sometimes does not work unless one of the employees pushes a different button. IF AT ANY POINT someone comes near the button or the door or something in that area, a loud angry Claxon sounds. It sounds like this. "MEEEEAAAAAAAH!" This seems like it could on some level be reasonable, but the problem is it happens every 30 seconds at least. When you combine these two factors (the line and the Claxon) what you end up with is repeatedly standing in the same line and being blasted by a horrible sound while you and everyone else tries to accomplish their tasks as their stress meter increasesto unmanageable levels, as if you're in some kind of Faustian purgatory designed purely for human suffering. However, the tires are cheap.

While driving to shop for groceries (as luck would have it, at Walmart), we turned the car into the…read moreadjacent lot. It was then that Betsy..our sturdy Honda van struck a rogue chunk of jagged cement. Before we knew it, we were driving on the rim of our right front tire. Looked like a monster had bitten a chunk out of that Goodyear...Scary. Well, we weren't on the highway doing sixty, so that was a plus. We limped into the Auto Care Center, and were greeted by their capable, friendly staff. Explained the situation, left the van with them, went to Walmart to food-shop and eat a couple Subway sandwiches. The mechanics did not ask us to drive the van closer to the service area, since the rim might have also been compromised and they wisely, had to determine THAT before anything else could happen. An hour or so later, after lunch, we returned. Betsy was almost good as new. (BTW she drove us 1200 miles from NYC to NOLA in July, not even a hint of trouble - great vehicles, them Hondas). We thanked the guys and gals who got us back in business. The charges were fair, in fact cheaper than many car places, without sacrificing quality of service. Gold stars to everybody. We shop for groceries and household items at Walmart several times a week. But we will keep the auto care center in mind, 'just in case"..thanks, y'all!
