After a great Friday Date Night dinner, there was only one logical next step: ice cream. Not soft-serve-from-a-chain-on-every-corner ice cream. Real ice cream. The kind that requires intention. Enter Faye's Ice Cream Parlor, which I learned (the hard way) is one of the very few local ice cream shops that's open year-round AND late enough to actually grab dessert after dinner in the winter. Bless them. A little pre-visit research led me to Faye's social media to confirm they were open--and that's when I saw it: Peanut Butter Blast. Creamy peanut butter ice cream loaded with Reese's Pieces and Peanut Butter Cups. As a lifelong peanut butter enthusiast, my fate was sealed. Thanks to a recent Central PA snowstorm, street parking was...adventurous. After one strategic lap around the block, I found a spot just a few spaces from the front door and felt like I had won the lottery. I carefully perched my car atop a snowplow-created mountain and hustled inside in search of warmth...and ice cream. Inside, there was only one other group of customers, which made perfect sense given it was late January, about 15 degrees outside, and there were still inches of snow piled everywhere. I was oddly comforted knowing I wasn't the only person craving ice cream in the dead of winter. I ordered the smallest dish they offer (a kiddie size for around $4), slid into a retro booth in the back, and dug in. The ice cream was fabulous--rich, creamy, and absolutely loaded with peanut butter goodness. Zero regrets. But honestly? The interior might have been my favorite part. The full-on 1950s vibe--from Elvis to Marilyn Monroe, the decor, and the music--felt like stepping into a time capsule. I have nothing but respect for the staff who listen to the classics all day, every day...because I personally could not do that without losing my mind. Still, it absolutely fits the charm. Bottom line: Faye's is a super solid ice cream stop any time of year. Between the great ice cream, cozy retro vibes, convenient location, and rare winter / later-night hours, this place is a win! I'll definitely be back--especially once the weather breaks and I no longer have to scale snowbanks for dessert.

Took my granddaughter on a whim. What a really cute, nostalgic experience. The ice cream was very good too!

First time here since new owners took over! Looks like they got rid of a lot of Clutter and opened it up some! Neater Appearance! Still the 50's-60's Happy Days Vibe. The Ice Cream was super creamy for scooped iced cream and my wife enjoyed their soft serve twist! Friendly and efficient staff over all a great experience!

This place is awesome!!! It's like you stepped out of 2025 and time traveled back in the day. The decor and atmosphere reminded me of being a kid again. Glad I found this place and couldn't have my kids experience a real ice cream parlor. The ice cream was also out of this world.

Very cute little ice cream shop. A bunch of old school music decor all around. A bunch of flavors to choose from. From hand dipped to soft serve. Tried the cookies and cream and it was really good.

Good old fashion ice cream parlor. Feels like you stepped back into the 50's. Lots of flavors to choose from.

    1. Such a cute environment! 50s soda shop style. Loved !! 2. Such fun and amazing ice cream options !!! For example, I had "Ube Brownie" what!? So good. My sister had an ice cream cookie sandwich and she got to pick her cookies. They also had topping options; sauces as well as add-ins like graham crackers, marshmallows, and gummy bears. I had a full chocolate cone. Loved it, feel like you never see that. 3. The workers were so joyous !! So sweet

Great ice cream choices. Directly next door to the restored and popular West Shore Theater. Offers 20 flavors of hand dipped locally sourced ice cream plus seasonal choices. We tried mint chocolate chip, carrot cake, and Fat Elvis (bananas, PB, honey). All delicious! Also soft served and shakes, floats, and the best banana splits in the area! Definitely going back soon!

Great neighborhood ice cream spot. Super kid friendly, staff was extremely helpful, and quality of the ice cream much better than any chain.
