It's been four years since my last visit to Fazoli's. So I decided to come back to celebrate, National Spaghetti Day on the 4th of January. Since my last visit, I've learned the Fazoli's is a franchise and is black and woman owned. To celebrate Spaghetti Day, I went with a Marinara and Meat Sauce. However, the kid in me really wanted the Meatballs. The portion was a hearty size and was more than enough. It came with a side of Breadsticks. They were the perfect accompaniment. The young man working as a cashier was very professional and friendly. My food runner was equally friendly and when I finished my meal and was still sitting at the table, she offered to take the empty dishes away. If you are dining in, they use real plates and flatware. That's a nice touch. I went at lunchtime and was surprised how busy and full the dining room was. I was also surprised to see diners leaving a couple of dollars on the table as they left. I wonder if the food runner gets all of them or if they split them with all on duty. I'll be back and I wont wait four years or a for pasta holiday. Haven't had fazolis since college and my partner really missed it. We got a 5$ off an order over 10$ coupon and decided to try it out again. We ordered 5 regular wings (9.99) and the crispy chicken bacon ranch salad which came with bread sticks (8.99). The wings were good but overpriced for the size. The salad had pepperoni chips (probably like 40 over them), crispy chicken, iceberg, fries breadstick croutons, bacon and cheese. This is a salad for people that don't like salad, not so much a salad for people who enjoy salad. Wouldn't order again but if you like all those toppings go for it- food was fresh. Are you kidding, this is the worst claim to Italian food.having lived 6 yrs in Italy , I know what true Italian is... your sauce tastes canned, pasta so over cooked. We honestly tried it twice. We got a $120 worth of food last night and let me tell you what that was the worst food ever! The pizza was cold and when I say cold it wasn't even Luke warm. Two different people said at two different times "this pizza looks like a frozen pizza." The fettuccine was tasteless, my daughter got a sandwich and the lettuce was almost rotten on there. The breadsticks were eatable but not nothing to scream about. It was literally an over all terrible meal. My family is big Italian/pizza people and that was horrible. I don't know if we got a bad crew that was working last night, but I am going to call AM EX and see about getting our money back that's how bad it was. Or I'll try the restaurant first. read more

I truly believe a can Chef Boyardee is more authentic and flavorful. At least the can has a picture of an Italian. The mozzarella bights at warm not hot rock hard. The can pasta flavor of the baked special with meat was horrible. The bread sticks texture and floriferous made we question if they where soaked in second rate corn oil. On the plus side dinner with a appetizer and large drink for $13.63. It's cheep so I guess they earned the one star you have to give. Quite frankly the value is better at Taco Bell. read more

I don't know what time we went but I went with my mom and grandma. And first off, when we went in there, it didn't seem very crowded, but there were a few people. I ordered spaghetti with a coke, my mom got some type of Alfredo, and my grandma got pasta. We also got breadsticks for an appetizer. The waitress was very sweet and got everything we needed right away. Our food was very quick to get there and the price wasn't too bad. When we were walking out, the people said, "Have a good night," which was nice. I highly recommend going to this restaurant with your family or friends! read more

The food was good but the service was awesome. We had Minnie working the counter and dining area. She has the best attitude and not fake. She made sure we had everything we needed and assisted right away when we needed something. I can't say enough about how awesome Minnie is and will definitely go back. read more

I used to hate this place for years and after many many years of boycotting I am giving them five stars. My better half convinced me to try it again a couple of years ago and I can say that the food is always good, hot, fresh and delicious although the Fettuccini Alfredo could use a bit more sauce. Fazoli's is one of my favorite restaurants. I have to partake with caution. I sampled the drive thru. They have some new menu items, I ordered the Chicken Mushroom Parminago. It came with a salad or slice of pizza. I felt that was too much for me. The lady said of course I could just order the chicken dish. I got met with a friendly server at the window. I love FAZOLI'S. A great alternative to your regular fast food joints. Patti is obviously a great manager, she has been there since it opened, it close to it. I think she runs a right dbip, but that's what makes it a clean, friendly, delicious place to eat. Great job Patti! read more

I live nearby and figured heck I've been cooking all week for my kids and husband might as well make it an "easy" night and go grab some fast Italian at our local fazilois . So I go and wait in line get to the speaker and start to order immediately feeling rushed by the young lady on the recieving end. After she repeats my order wrong. I correct her saying "no ma'am ,I said I'd like a baked lasguna" she goes " We don't have a kids laguna. " I said I know I want the adult one. Then she said "THATS WHAT I SAID !!!which in fact she didn't. So I just figured maybe I could correct it at the window if she still hadn't understood. So I get to the window pay my $53 dor my 2 kids meals and 3 pasta entrees then she proceeds to slam the window in my fave after taking my Money and handing me the receipt. Which I then read and realized it she still had written down that I wanted a "baked speghetti" not lasguna..I try to get her attention multiple times before they make the wrong order but she purposely ignores me then 5 mins after that she opens the window to hand me my food and I go.. " at the speakers I said I needed a adult lasguna not spaghetti " she literally takes my receipt and closes the window. I wait another 10 mins ans she comes back to the window and goes " can I help you with anything? " I go " Are you serious ? I just paid u 53 dollars ans u still haven't handed me any or my food yet. But your gonna ask me if you can help me in such a rude manner. " I was over it at this point and went home . Such a shame . People that act like that shouldn't work customer service. I didn't feel like I could even order what My family asked for be I was afraid she'd do something to it by the hateful attitude she displayed while I was waiting. read more

Best bread sticks EVER! I love Fazoli's...I wish they had one here in California, I'd be going to it every night! I love their strawberry lemonade slushis on a hot summer day, they cool you off. I was eating there food which first of all the noodles were hard in some places so that means the noodles are pre cooked which if nasty and I was eating there pasta and I FOUND A HAIR IN MY NASTY FOOD. This is unacceptable and need to take cooking classes so if you like hair this is the place for you. Have a good day. read more

We've always been big fans of Fazoli's, and the Alton location does not disappoint. The unlimited breadsticks make a trip through the drive-thru out of the question. Inside, there is always a worker circling the restaurant offering extra breadsticks, which are basically just irresistible salty grease sponges. read more

When I first walked in it smelled pasta which was extremely abnormal considering that it is an Italian restaurant in the middle of Alton IL. I ordered my food and it was $2.00 for a dang small drink. The individual at the front desk a.k.a sloppy cashier made me want to run away screaming bloody murder. Fettuccine Alfredo was was a strong 2 out of 10 but on the other hand the bread sticks make my toes pop backwards 2X. Overall somewhat pleasant experience, Strong 3 out of 5 stars. read more

I always have a good experience at Fazoli's. I love their lasagna. Their spaghetti and fettuccine alfredo is just okay, but where else can you get drive through Italian? And of course, do not forget the awesome breadsticks that just keep coming if you dine in. They also have a wonderful Italian salad that just so happens to low carb as well. If you like butter...the breadsticks are great! Their baked spaghetti and pizza is delicious. My husband and son love the Fettuccine Alfredo. Their salad that comes with the pasta duo's are soooooo good (wish it was a bigger salad though). The prices are fairly inexpensive. The desserts are pretty good as well.
