Definitely one of the more underrated Italian restaurants in South Carolina. They have a drive-thru, which is extremely convenient if pressed for time. The loaded Fettuccine Alfredo is delicious and one of my go-to's. My other go-to is the chicken carbonara and it is always cooked to perfection! The servers were as nice and professional as they could be despite the stifling heat inside. There was no air conditioning in this business. I couldn't take it and had to leave. The food to begin with was over-salted. The breadsticks were ok. Their fountain drinks were out and they offered a can soda. The restaurant is in need of repairs with holes in the ceiling and appearance of black mold in spots. The employees are really loud and speak very inappropriately. read more

I gave one star so I could post this review. To my dismay I didn't eat there nor would I ever. Went to the bathroom first and there was two soap dispensers-unfortunately they were empty! I went up front and asked for the manager-he certainly didn't care about the fact I had said-I was going to eat here but (told him about the soap) and how disgusting it was to know that no one had put soap in the bathroom and I was certain the employees did not properly wash there hands. Was looking for a great Italian dinner, this place was actually referred to us by some friends. We were very disappointed. The chicken Alfredo tasted like it came from a microwave it was very watery, the ultimate spaghetti dinner with meatballs was okay except the meatballs tasted like they were old /stale! My son and I walked in at 4:40 on Saturday November 19, 2022. Waited for a family to order their food and drinks. Got to Register at 4:51, was told it needed to be togo, the Dining room was closed at 4:30. Tables with people, dirty tables not cleaned, food still being served, family in front of us sat down. While on a travel day to my next work assignment, I stopped in Columbia during the evening rush hour to get off the highway for a bit, plus have dinner and gas the car. I had heard of this "fast Italian food" restaurant before, but this is the 1st time I had been to one. In case you've never been, you place your order at a counter, just as you would at any fast food restaurant. The menu board shows their offerings, including their version of a value meal (main item, drink, and choice of one slice of pizza or a salad.) If you choose to dine in, you will be handed a number to place on the table and the food is brought to you. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Value Meal with a slice of pizza and sweet tea as my beverage. Food was delivered to the table quickly and piping hot. Food wasn't bad - we know it is most likely pre packaged, pre measured foods that require minimal preparations. The experience gets a two star rating because of the employees. Counter person said exactly two things to me: "May I take your order?" and "Is this dine in or take out?" No "welcome to Fazoli's" or "I will bring your order to your table in a moment." Fazoli's was introduced to me, by my girlfriends, on a day trip to Columbia, SC. From the outside of this spot, you would never know they're cooking some good stuff up in there. You can definitely sit down to eat (plenty of seating) but it's probably more of a grab and go spot for me. I didn't even know this place had one because I was just looking for italian food on my way back and this place came up! After waiting for 9.5 minutes a guy walks by the window, proceeds to get a drink, put a straw in the cup, starts drinking and walks away... NEVER acknowledging that I, along with 3 other cars were waiting. After 12 minutes, I proceeded to CALL inside to see, maybe they didn't see me. Nope! No answer. And the voicemail box was full!!! I decided to leave ONLY to see at LEAST 4 staff members sitting in the dining room talking!! I will NEVER go to this place EVER again. First, let me start by saying I am hyper critical and very hard to please. With that said, I give them 5 stars and this is not given easily. The staff were very welcoming. They waited on us immediately. I am so used to going places and no one is at the counter but they were ready and waiting to serve. The staff had good vibes and worked well together. Anything we asked for was given to us with a smile and a happy to please attitude. They brought our food to the table. They walked around with a basket of breadsticks to see if we needed anymore. They are free and unlimited while you dine in. A gentleman by the name of Tim was phenomenal. He had such a servant's heart and aura. He genuinely enjoyed his job and making customers happy and satisfied. This was my first time ever going to a Fazoli's and now I will plan on coming back to this particular one. Service nonexistent. Sat in the drive through waiting for a voice for what seemed like an eternity. Moved forward to the window thinking maybe the speaker was not working or the business was closed. Once I arrived at the window I noticed the attendant streaming on her phone and the cook talking over the kitchen counter pass through. The attendant didn't notice me or seem to care, so I drove next door to Chick-fillet. My niece is a former employee as of yesterday, 10/16/2023. She was preparing food and a rat ran across her foot, which scared her. She continued preparing the food on the counter and then a rat fell from the ceiling, She jumped back, screaming and crying as she stopped preparing the food and ran out of the building. To say this is my favorite restaurant and I drove from over an hour from Florence to Columbia to eat inside... this visit was the most disappointing... Despite seeing people eating at the back of the restaurant upon arrival at 3:30pm on a EMPTY Saturday, the staff saw me and my friend sit down with both of our kids to prepare to order and was told that the inside was closed and the dining room was unable to be eaten in. We asked what time they closed and they said "10:30pm, but we don't have the staff to clean up the inside". I counted 9 employees inside the building, some of which were eating behind the counter, but could not be bothered to come clean a table and allow us to eat inside. It's cheap and fast, so that's good - in a pseudo-Italian fast food kind if way. It's certainly not very healthy and only moderately tasty. The breadsticks are soft and full of that wonderful fake garlic-butteriness. Pizza is not quite DiGiorno quality. Almost, but not quite. Chicken Parm dish contained lukewarm, dry breaded chicken cutlets on a bed of cafeteria spaghetti, all topped with green-flecked marinara and underwhelming mozzarella. All served in an exquisite foil baking dish. Apparently they don't like to give customers trays, and I doubt for eco-friendliness. My breadsticks and pizza were delivered on company wax paper. That's what you get (and a Coke) for a $10 dinner on Two Notch. Surprisingly, though, the salads almost have some substance. read more

Ordered a Cesar salad which was placed on top of hot food and was quite warm, consisting of a very small amount of wilted and brown lettuce with unidentifiable cheese thrown on. There was no salad dressing. Supposed manicotti could not be identified as such. Cheese was thin and runny and did not resemble any ricotta I have ever eaten.
