I've eaten here a few times in the past. Tonight was definitely better than my last review. Our waitress didn't know the menu, she was knew I'm assuming. Our food was good and seasoned well. We did take the $10 meal home for the next day, that was a great deal. One issue I had was the window seals need to be cleaned, the whole place needs a upgrade honestly. Not sure why a restaurant wouldn't clean well...this was visible dirt and dust. read more

Most disorganized meal ever. Waiter didn't know we'd been seated. Then there was a problem ordering vegetables, got that worked out. Next got our dessert , then my order of spinach, still no entree. When it did arrive everything was good. The floor had olive oil spilled on it creating a fall hazard. I wasn't able to go back to the table and left at that point. I was here for a birthday dinner, and honestly I wasn't very impressed. The staff seemed nice, but there were a bunch of them just standing around, and half the people at our table didn't get water until about 30 minutes in. The food itself was fairly good and several people in our group enjoyed their meals, but personally I wasn't impressed. The fettuccine tasted good, but there was basically no chicken on it. For the price, I expected a lot more. Overall, the place is alright, and if you have extra money to spend it might be worth trying. But if you're on a budget or want to get your money's worth, I'd probably stay away. read more

It has been quite a while since I've eaten at Carrabba's because quite frankly the last time was subpar and it's been several years. I took a friend there today and he'd never eaten there. We both had calamari appetizers and were were delighted that they weren't lightly battered and delicious. We also had the lentil soup with sausage which was great and for my main appetizer I had the chicken marsalas and he had the beef short rib marsalas. I will have to say that it was absolutely delicious and he was blown out of the water. He will be taking his wife there as soon as he gets a chance. I was delighted to see that. Apparently they are back on their game and the food was magnificent. The service was excellent is and we had a great experience. It is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. read more

Carrabba's is my favorite! It never disappoints. The service is always above and beyond. The ambiance is simple and nothing extravagant but I'm going for the food. We had the 2 for $45 and I was impressed they were giving the same portion as the regular option if ordered separately. I had the Caesar salad and my wife the Italian. I love their chicken Marsala with mash potatoes. My wife had the Tuscan grilled sirloin with broccoli and penne. It also came with a dessert not pictured because we were quite full from just the salad bread and entree. However we chose the strawberry cheesecake. We did get a Summer Sangria and it was really good! Highly recommend it! I love a sweet drink and it was perfect! read more

Pretty usual Carrabas in the shopping District of Columbia right outside the Fairfield. The service was usual and good. In addition to pasta, we got a chance to espresso martini - which was fine except they didn't put the chocolate drizzle that was in the menu/picture. Overall a good place to eat. The service was excellent our server was happy to help us move. The parking surrounds the restaurant, so there is more than ample parking here. read more

The decor and ambience of the restaurant was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the questions I had over the menu. I really enjoyed their Spicy Margarita they had on the menu. When it came to the food the Classics Combination was great except for the Bruschette Caprese it was Very Salty. We could not eat it at all. When it came to the Chicken Parmesan it was a 4/10 the chicken was dry and tough when eating. You could tell it was frozen and not freshly made. The sauce was ok. It's sad to see one of your "go to" restaurants decline. As always, the atmosphere and service were top notch. However; the food left a lot to be desired. The salad had several pieces of spoiled or even rotten lettuce. The fettuccine was swimming in sauce, almost to the point of being a soup (not kidding). It was also way too salty. With these high prices I expect better. We also took advantage of their $10.00 take home entree deal. It use to come with a salad and bread. They apparently think that changing the name from meal to entree should convey that. Having purchased say, 50 meals and taken advantage of this deal several times before, I simply did not consider that. Yes, you can add a salad for an extra $2.00. Experience here was okay. We had to wait for a table and had a good experience at the bar getting drinks, but where we sat down was a bit cruddy for me - the window sill, specifically...which in its state was too close to where we sat. Took forever to get our server, then to get bread, but it was Friday night busy so I wasn't mad per se, but still. I was jonesing for some Eggplant Parm, but they recommended the new veggie ravioli, which was very good. Glad I listened! My wife got a rigatoni special, which was just alright. But the highlight, especially as this was my birthday, was the Cannoli Cake. It's a week later and I can still taste it. It's extra special because back in NY on my birthday we'd go to the Italian bakery and get a cannoli and another desert, BUT, this was also just perfectly tasty too. A huge hit bakers! Would I return? Not sure yet, but I can understand why folks dig it. read more

The food is always great Italian fare with other interesting and delicious dishes. The service has almost been perfect even when they are busy - whether you are sitting in bar area or at a table. Very tentative. I try to stay away from the larger crowd b/c of the noise and they tend to be loud. If I had a choice in which restaurant to visit is most likely will be Carrabba's. read more

We went to try out their summer line up and boy oh boy it did not disappoint one bit. They had 6 items on the summer menu ... 1 appetizer, 3 entrées, 1 dessert, & 1 cocktail beverage! We ordered it all! See the pictures and details below. The service and atmosphere were great. They had music playing but it wasn't too loud. I was able to talk quietly enough for my friend to hear me across the table. Cocktail: Watermelon Basil Lemonade - very tasty and refreshing. It definitely gives you a perfect summer drink feel. Not too strong on the alcohol, it's perfectly crafted. Appetizer: Fritto Misto - a great twist on some of your favorites. There is a kick of spice to it and it hits perfectly. When you dip it in the aioli sauce, that's where the Chefs Kiss factor comes in. The flavors were great. They also had a lemon slice that was fried y'all - I was pleasantly shocked. Who would've thunk it lol?! Entree's: all three of the summer entree's were good. They were flavored well and paired great with a summer feeling. Jordan was our server and he was absolutely amazing. The guy working the bar with glasses was super nice as well. Both were very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. The order was precise .... nothing was missing They gave us enough utensils and napkins . The food was hot and good . The price was reasonable . This is a restaurant that was one of my favorite spots. Over the last several years they have continued to go downhill in my experience. The food still is pretty good but the issues in the delivery and service are so markedly bad that I can't go back. I've tried lunch on several occasions ordering everything from just an app to an entree. It doesn't matter which it is, I had to wait over on hour on completion. Another occasion I took a family member out for a celebration. It was such a bad experience that the manager came over and comped the entire meal plus gave us a gift card to use in the future. This past year I ordered meals for everyone in my wife's department for her birthday only to get a message the day of that the order could not be completed. It was beyond frustrating when the employees had such little time for lunch and no one brings a lunch as a backup since this delivery was planned!! Last week I tried to take my mom to lunch here since the parking lot was mostly empty. I walked in at 12:58 and was told there would be a 10 minute wait even though the restaurant only had 5 groups seated. I immediately left. I will NEVER go to this particular restaurant ever again. It's too bad since the food (when you get it) is usually good and I like their menu. read more

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Waited on an online order for almost an hour from the time I arrived, not to mention the time it was place. The order was a Caesar's salad and a linguine and that's it. The restaurant was half full and they were directly seating people. To top it off, I asked to speak to a manager and she literally ignored me. I know she was aware of who I am because I saw her looking my way when the young host went and told her. TWICE!!! Pitiful customer service to ignore a customer's request to speak to a manager. I will never step foot in this overpriced garbage establishment again. read more

This is my wife's favorite place and it has grown on me in the 19 years of marriage. First time ever but my chicken Bryan was luke warm and mashed potatoes was hot. The staff were great and the wait was only 20 mins. We've visited this Columbia SC location many times, and this was our first subpar visit.
