Let me start this off by saying, I have never had an issue with the service or food. I also understand I did order the food after 9:00 p.m. However, the time I ordered and picked up the food should not matter. I got my food to go. I got home opened my spaghetti and the noodles were gummy and clumpy, like I got the last batch they had made. It seriously was inedible. I had asked for mushrooms and I barely saw any on the dish. Second time I've been here. Thought the first bad food might have been a fluke. I was wrong. They managed to screw spaghetti up twice. I'm not quite sure how you screw spaghetti up but they did. When someone asks for meat sauce on their spaghetti give them meat sauce. It doesn't look like marinara sauce. Spaghetti was so overcooked it just clumped together into soggy pasta balls. read more

Breadsticks are still amazing BUT.... The Alfredo sucks now. No flavor! The kids meals suck now. They're just one measly piece of pizza and a drink, no side item no toy. I am still perturbed when they decided to quit bringing out free bread sticks. They reversed that decision, but what used to be a very busy place isn't anymore. That plus the portion sizes seem to have gotten smaller. When you consider that the lowest percentage cost item in a restaurant is usually the food, when they start scrimping on that, the place is usually hurting. read more

The drive thru attendants are always the opposite of friendly. They can never hear what you are ordering. So they often can't proof read your order correctly. I am an outside sales rep and have been using the Muncie location to cater meals for local dealerships. I used them most recently to cater a tent sale for 50+ employees and they did a wonderful job. I dealt directly with the catering manager Lexie who was eager to answer any and all questions and ensure everything was in order. Food was prepared and packaged on time and tasted wonderful. I haven't had any issues with Fazolis until my last trip there. I placed an order which included the Baked Italian Meatballs and got some burnt things that I think used to be some kind of meatball in the past with no sauce over them and a small amount of cheese burnt onto the bottom of the container. If you happen to be in Muncie, IN, and looking to dine in a restaurant that specializes in pasta-based dishes, you'd be doing yourself well to avoid this Fazoli's. I made the mistake of taking my son and daughter-in-law there for lunch on Sunday, December 18 around the noon hour. With only one cashier on duty, we waited 17 minutes to place our order, and another 12 minutes for our individual orders to be delivered to our table. From the first look at my fettuccini alfredo, I suspected it was not going to be pleasant tasting. The noodles were hard and stuck together, and the alfredo sauce tasted like it was made from a store-bought turkey gravy recipe mix. My son and his wife found their spaghetti and meatballs equally hard and distasteful. The only redeeming part of our meal was the breadsticks and the "Cheesecake Factory" brand cheesecake. Needless to say, we didn't finish our meals and left. The worst part of the experience was that the total cost of all three meals was $44.51! Need I say more? read more

Very tasty food and the manager was coming around asking how everything was and if she could get us anything. Not sure it's even worth 2 stars for this particular visit. First, when we got there, there was a long line because only one register was being used. Finally, the second register opened - but we still didn't move very fast. We placed our order, he got his usual, Chicken Parm, I decided to try their new Shrimp Parm Bake. Photo looked awesome. There were no bread sticks ready, so we went to our table without them. As for the bread sticks, the first order was cooked nicely, but every stick after that was totally underdone and over salted. I got a side Caesar salad - which consisted of wilted lettuce and some shredded mozzarella on top (how is that a Caesar??). We waited for a booth to be cleaned because although most of them were empty - all of them were dirty. Our food finally arrived and my first (visual) impression was not good. It looked *nothing* like the ad photo. I took my first bite (noodle, sauce and a piece of shrimp) and let the shrimp fall back out of my mouth. It was COLD. In fact, the entire bowl was, at best, lukewarm. When a server came by I asked that it be cooked for 5 or 10 more minutes (I wanted that "baked" look and I wanted it hot!) She came back in around 3 minutes with it. The cheese on top was just barely starting to brown (a few brown dots on top). I took a bite, and it was still lukewarm. Also, it would appear the shrimp was frozen first because not only was it hard to heat up - but my Alfredo sauce was watery (a normal consequence of defrosting something in it). I didn't eat anymore of it. I brought it home so I can bake it till it's done. (It's way too expensive to not take it home) None of the staff were as friendly as I'm used to. I'm also not a fan of seeing an employee working and chewing, meaning eating while working. Overall, cleanliness was a fail; customer service was a fail; food was a fail. They get 2 stars for this being the first time I've ever had everything go wrong and no one all that interested in getting it right. I wish they'd be more focused on cooking good food than constantly changing the dishes they serve them in or other aesthetic changes to the restaurant - especially since the prices have gone up. Good in all but could be better on service mostly could have been at least a 4 star if it did have a kids area for kids not to be bored or maybe a little bit of a flavor to the breadsticks (not saying their awful) but it just gets a little bit bland after a while but still at least it is reasonable on holidays on it being open and not closed all day read more

My husband and I visited the restaurant October 9th and had multiple issues. The restaurant was dirty, staff were playing around or standing around, line out the parking lot in the drive thru, line to the door in the restaurant, long waits, etc. We ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, my husband had almost finished his food when he found several big chunks of what appeared to be cardboard (definitely a foreign substance) in the pasta sauce. We called over the manager, he was very uninterested and offered to replace the food with the same sauce. When we declined the same food the cardboard was in he told us to have a nice night and walked away. No offer to replace with something else, no refund, not even an apology. Since we had ordered the same thing I was no longer interested in eating my food on the chance there was some in mine as well. I contacted corporate to share our experience, I received a return phone call from Chris, the area supervisor and I forwarded him the pictures we took of the objects in the pasta. Chris did apologize for our experience but that was all the follow up we received. He stated he was going to refund our money in gift cards/free meal cards hoping we would return. Even after giving Chris my personal information, including my address, we never received anything from Fazoli's. Last week, against my better judgement, I stopped in just to pick up bread sticks, the restaurant was dirty, the employees were goofing off. I stood at the counter for 7 minutes and was never greeted and left without speaking to a single employee, so much for informing management of the problems hoping they would be corrected. read more
