This was our first time at this location and we sat outside due to having dogs with us. The staff were incredibly helpful in getting an umbrella up and even making sure our dogs were comfortable and had plenty of water. The server came around often to check on us, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend the cosmic margarita. It was a little tart, very refreshing, perfect for a hot summer day. My friend and I wanted to go to a sit down place, so we decided on here. When we walked in the hostess was on the phone with a customer, which I didn't mind too much, but it lasted a good minute, and nobody else had come up to try and help us, which I found a bit discouraging. Eventually she got off and sat us down at one of the tables in the bar area. I noticed all the wait staff were crowded around next to it where the kitchen meets the bar, and just chatting. I found it odd considering there's only one hostess and then there's all of these waitstaff just mingling about. But, being short staff is typical these days so I suppose that's probably how it is there. That's probably why the bartender was the one who waited on us as well. She was quite nice, and definitely knew how to make a good drink. I could hardly taste the alcohol in both. The first one I got was a lemonade type if I remember correctly, It was quite refreshing. The second drink I ordered was a blackberry margarita, which was honestly not good. I'm not big on sour, and it was pucker your lips and just drink it quick type sour for me. The rim had salt, and although I'm not a big salt rim person, that was probably my favorite part besides the actual blackberry floating in it. If you like sour you'd probably love it, but personally it was not for me. As far as food goes, we ordered the hummus appetizer to start. It came out fairly quick, and damn it was good. The fried pita bread with flakes of salt on top were our favorites. I could eat a whole big bowl of that alone if I could. When we almost were done with that, our food came out. My friend had ordered their crispy chicken in the dill pickle hot style, and both him and I were surprised at the amount of fries that came with. It was like fries with a side of chicken sandwich. He gave me a bite of his sandwich, and we both agreed it wasn't spicy or dill-y enough. The fries were honestly my favorite part out of all the food. They were so crisp and kept their warmth pretty well. They were also dusted in cinnamon sugar, which just made them 1000% better. Sometimes at other places you get them and they can be soggy or not have anything on them. They make them the right way here! For my meal, I got the drunken dory, I was debating on that or the blackened salmon salad, but figured why not go with some fries. Seeing how much fries my friend got vs myself, I was a little disappointed, but in the end he ended up stuffed whereas I had just enough. I really liked the plating on this, putting the fish on top of the fries so as the outside stays crispy on the fish. It did work, and overall was very nice. Could've used a bit of salt, and came out very hot though. All the food retained its heat very well. Their tartar sauce was also quite good, and as you can expect the coleslaw was nothing to write home about. I would definitely come back here again, probably try more of their apps and beers, I definitely like it better than some of the breweries over where I live in Virginia, so if you haven't tried it I highly recommend you do! read more

A new place to try. My wife & I went here for lunch with 4 other friends, and had a great experience. The place is nice and clean and the food & beer was very good. I got the pulled pork, and it is not the usual shredded pork. Nice chunks of great tasting pork with a slice of bacon on it. The couple of beers I had were refreshing too. Our waitress was busy with a larger table, and another waitress came over to help us so we didn't have to wait on our checks. It was nice teamwork. read more

A busy Pacers night at Four Day Ray. All the TVs were on the game and the crowd was chill. The service is always polite and efficient. The summer menu has new options. These are my favorite cheese curds. They aren't heavily breaded and are soft and creamy. Beers frequently turn over. Check the menu. The cocktails are innovative. I didn't enjoy one because I still needed to get some work done. Next time (but their beer is so good and pairs well with the food). And there is outdoor seating. Now that the weather is getting better, that would be the place to be. read more

Stopped for lunch prior to attending a volleyball tournament. It appeared that we were the first customers of the day arriving right at opening. We were soon followed by a few other small groups on this Mother's day. Garlic knots were exceptional - soft and slathered in tasty garlic butter. My 'Goat Steakburger' was flavorful with the goat cheese and fig jam though a bit overcooked as a 'pink okay' burger. I think it would be amazing if truly cooked to medium rare. Tami's Fish Sandwich was among the best versions with a flaky well sized fish portion in a lite beer batter. The House Made Chips were surprisingly great. The House Fries as Tami's upgrade were also very good. Top quality FDR beers are a plus. Service was a bit slow and servers seemed to spend much time chatting among themselves - don't know if this was them or that they were waiting on a slow kitchen. read more

Definitely not worth a trip. The good- the Cubano pizza is good. The fish was good and the tarter sauce is excellent. Now the bad- The French fries are absolutely horrendous, and they upcharge $2 for them with their sandwiches. The portion of Cole slaw they give is literally in a small condiment cup, which is about 2 tablespoons, or less. I'm not exaggerating. The pizza dough tastes frozen. The service was not great. My husbands pizza came out 15 minutes before the rest of our food. We never saw our waitress for a refill on our drinks. For a brewery they have a very small selection of beer, and no sour options. read more

My friend and I had dinner here tonight, and it was a yummy solid, dining experience. I had the hot honey blackberry margarita, which was quite good. We split an appetizer of the cheese curds, and we both got salad-the Caesar and the blackened salmon. The salmon was moist and the blackening seasoning was flavorful. The food quality was high: the mixed greens and romaine basis of our salads were both beautiful, fresh and high-quality. The cheese was generous on the salads, and the toppings were complementary to each other. Our server was friendly and attentive. She told us that they their own salad dressings, which were nice, but were not knocking it out of the park in the flavor department and could use a bit more seasoning. Stopped in here for a mid week lunch and we enjoyed everything about the restaurant/bar. It is very clean in a new building and they provided great service with tasty food and good cocktails/beers. We will definitely be back and enjoyed everything we had. They have outdoor seating on the patio that is right on the Main Street but there is also a splash pad for kids at the park right next to it. They also offer Gluten free (cauliflower crust) pizzas if that is of interest to you. The pork tenderloins were good as were the pizzas. Food was good quality but they also forget my cheese that I paid extra for and put items on it that I asked to not have. Ordered hot honey on the chicken but they called and said it wasn't served anymore. Not a big deal and it was nice getting that call. The chicken itself was done perfectly. Ambiance in the restaurant is fine, to go area gives you a good look into the back of the house. Which is clean but also seems to gather up things like pizza boxes that need folding. Clean still just feels cluttered with the cramped space. Kiddo got pizza. She's happy. Super cheesy and she enjoys the fries that comes with it. It's nice that they make kid food that isn't low quality. read more

Good little place to eat. Not crowded on a Sunday after church. Good food for a reasonable price.

Solid food at reasonable prices. A nice addition to the little downtown area. The breaded pork tenderloin is great!

We were excited to try FDR in yorktown because we really like the fishers location and were disappointed. Truffle fries came out hard and cold as a rock, you could tell they were old. On a day they were slow (4 tables in the entire restaurant) the customer service we received was bad. We sat and waited awhile to get to-go boxes while staring at our waitress sitting on her phone. Overall our experience was poor and not worth the pricey bill. read more
