I know that this is likely a situation that she's handled before, but good gracious, this has been a drawn out mess! She was even willing to drive to my mother if necessary assuming we could pin her location down to obtain consent for cremation. Also, the person (not sure the role title, and I'll remember his name at some point) who came to pick my grandmother up was so kind. The parking does need some attention because it gets pretty packed and its very limited. Many of us just parked along side the curb where the path continues throughout the cemetery site. I went a few months ago to Saturday mass and this did help me to continue to grieve and know that their are others in the same situation. She went over all of the details thoroughly, so I was able to make a decision on the funeral arrangements fairly quickly. Miguel Bandy was PHENOMENAL! I often wondered did he ever sleep! He was very responsive and supportive. He made a very tough and sensitive situation very comforting and uncomplicated. I know there were other bereaved clients with families in need, but I never felt like there were - based on the GREAT customer service my family and I received from the moment my dad passed until he was laid to rest! Unfortunately, I was not able to give 5 stars. We paid for the livestream service option and are not pleased with the outcome. The recording is not great. There seems to be some technical disconnects that need to be addressed if they are going to continue to offer this service. Had we known, we would have secured an alternative. We are grateful that the service was recorded, but we would have liked a better product ultimately.
