No stencil? No marking of arch? Wow, I think - Diane must be a real pro at this. Yay. And, it's "happy hour" so she removes some less-than-feminine dark hairs from my upper lip as well - for free. Oh, how I wish she had left that alone and spent more time on a good brow job. On the way home, in better light, I see a large hank of eyebrow hair that has escaped removal. Playing phone tag with an admirably responsive Diane, I go back in and she graciously removes remaining hair. Still, no stencil, no arch measuring, nothing like previous visits to Anastasia counter. Why am I such a wuss about demanding adequate service? Why don't I call people on their shit? Both the top and bottom line of my brows are uneven where they have not been before, which I have to attribute to the wax job I received. If you've ever had a fine eyebrow wax done, you know it is very, very easy to fill in your brows and wind up with awesome eyebrows. I've had to work at it to figure out how to get my brows to look great, and that they look nice reflects much more on my experience and diligence than the wax job I got. I would have had just as good service, if not better, at a little strip mall Asian nail and waxing shop, at less than half the price ($30) so it feels like I threw away money on this service. Diane, you're a personable gal but you really need to sharpen your skills. Or maybe you had a bad day. Whatever it was, I got a crappy brow wax and won't be back to see you.

Yes it's 30 instead of your usual 20 at most places but your brows comes out nice and even and not over plucked/waxed. They show you how to maintain it or fill it in if you ask...and that's well worth it in my book. Thirty every 4 weeks is nothing. I don't get my nails done or color my hair so good brows is something I will splurge on.

Her studio is in an active space and you need to get buzzed in at the call box to get access to the elevator. Her studio is small but plenty adequate for her work to get done. It feels comfortable and she has music playing in the background.

Her studio is relaxing and clean, her table is heated and comfortable and she is really attuned to my comfort during the service. I had never had this done before and don't want to go back again after this bad experience . I was referred by word of mouth and of course I saw all these fantastic ratings. She text me to move my appointment time a little bit later which I was fine with. She was friendly and pleasant during the appointment, my eyebrows looked good upon leaving the appointment. But they began to fade after only a few weeks, the entire font area that I had her shade in just kinda disappeared. Basically I paid $$$ for nothing . The reason I'm leaving 2 stars, afterwards I text back on the same number she text me on to make her aware of the situation. She NEVER responded. This year I get a mass text about coming back , again I brought the issue and again she never responded. I wanted to give this business owner the benefit of the doubt but two bad interactions can't be a coincidence. Maybe she just has favorite clients that she's attentive too and can't be bothered with new customers. These are my interactions with her.
