Was on a drive home and searched for blue crabs lead me here. Was worth the detour. Did not know what to expect but they were fresh and heavy. 10/10 would recommend.

Terrible crabs!!! Old, soiled, and ammonia smell!!!

Worst service!!!! Order crabs from them alot and past few time were bad crabs. I let 2 of the times go and didn't say anything but last night my whole dozen of crabs were old, terrible smelling and couldn't even eat. I called this morning and ask to switch them for fresh and was told finally sale!!!! So they can just sell bad crabs and takes people's money and get away with it!!!! Worst service ever!!! Don't waste your money for bad crabs and no refund!

I had to downgrade my rating for the simple fact that I thought the original cooking fee of $1.00 was bizzarre and now they have upped it to 2.00. No other seafood place does this not even the supermarket. And how does it make any sense that they won't even bother to cook a 1/2 dozen small or medium crabs. It's just a no. Since I have no fear of cooking my own I can easily opt out but I think it's a lame policy especially in this competitive market. Just saying.

What's left of my "Combo R" = 1.5 lbs dungeness crab (Spicy, butter & garlic)

I'm so glad we have a local spot for seafood boils!! This spot is phenomenal. You don't get the BS from chain spots (e.g., the employees who don't care about whether your order is correct), you get pristine service from a locally owned spot. It's clear that they work hard and strive to make the customer happy, and they do. They deserve all of the good reviews you see. Also, for reference as to what to order, 1.5 lbs of crab is approximately 1.5-2 crabs, give or take depending on how meaty/ which type of crab. Great restaurant that deserves your support. You've been telling yourself to support local businesses, and I bet you're tired of the typical pizza/wings/Chinese takeout dinner, so how about you JUST TRY THIS? They don't deliver but who cares? I mean honestly, couldn't you benefit from a trip to get out of the house? If you're feeling especially considerate, maybe pay in cash since small businesses generally have to pay a surcharge for credit/debit card transactions. Also, don't forget about tipping - especially if you like the food and decide to order again!

Ultimate seafood platter - light seasoning, medium spice with garlic butter sauce

A hidden gem in Wilmington! There is a variety of seafood platters to chose from, which come with potatoes, broccoli, and corn. The best part? It's drenched in homemade garlic butter. Most people call in their order, but I always order in store because I never know what I want. Tommy and Junior always provide great customer service so I never mind the wait. Tommy is helpful in offering his recommendations and Junior cooks them up, fresh to order. I prefer light seasoning, otherwise it can be too salty for my taste buds. If you're in the area or passing through, I definitely recommend stopping here to satisfy your seafood cravings!

Holy crap, delicious. Even they're new COVID menu is still bomb. Def excited to try the non covid with scallops and clams and oysters !! My boyfriend stated the potatoes were a bit undercooked so that's why they don't have 5 starts.

    Yes Indeed!! Good Eats!

My wife and I love Jae's seafood!! We visit Jae's atleast once a week for their all year crabs and seafood. The staff is great and very friendly. They are knowledgeable about your seafood needs. They suggested their mussels and shrimp platter with butter, garlic, corn and broccoli... it was amazing.. Jae's never disappoints!! A must try!!

Seriously terrible customer service. They told me the 1/2 crab was only on weekdays, even though it doesn't say that anywhere in the store.

They came out in a seashell. I don't know what that sauce was that they were covered in, but I wanted to drink it. I'm a ribeye person. I asked Marc should I get the tomahawk for two or the Porter house for two? He suggested if I'm a ribeye person to get the tomahawk It was cooked to perfection. My cousin and I shared it and we ate every bite. It came in a big plate with carrots and potatoes and green beans. It was so much food, but it was so good. We ate at all. Also got a side of focaccia bread, which was outstanding All the drinks we had were made with love, and the atmosphere was really good too Are waitress Mia also gets five stars She was great Anyway, I'll be going back there very soon and I recommend if you're reading my review that you will love it too I want to thank all the staff at snuff Mill for making our night a memorable one

My friend and I arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were quickly greeted and offered a beverage menu. Their cocktail options are creative and constantly changing, often featuring some unique foam toppers. On this particular occasion, I started with the Strawberry Kiwi Spice Margarita, which included some cardamom to add depth and warmth to the fruity drink. I also ordered the Apricot Ginger Sour, a consistent favorite bourbon cocktail with a little zing from the lemon foam on top. Both drinks were excellent. For starters, we selected a few of the fresh oysters as well as a scallop special made with a lemon beurre blanc. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and I was grateful the dish came with sourdough to sop up every last drop of that delicious beurre blanc. My entree was where things went awry. I tend toward pescetarian options and selected the lone fish on the menu that night: skate wing. My first few bites were great, though slightly oversalted. However, eventually the mouthfeel evolved into a burning, ammonia taste, and I unfortunately wasn't able to finish the dish. My friend who also had the skate wing, however, did not have that experience (and I tried a bite of hers to confirm, too!). I know skate wing can be tricky to prepare and this is a known potential issue, but it was disappointing. Luckily, dessert was fabulous once again --- we chose the coconut creme brulee which was delightful. I'm sure I'll be back. Just no skate wing for me!

Planning an event like this isn't easy -- there's so much weight to it, wanting every detail to honor someone you love -- and this team made that possible in a way I'll always be grateful for. The decor in the room was beautiful. Soft draping along the ceiling, a gorgeous chandelier, candlelight, and floral centerpieces on every table -- it felt warm and intimate, like the space itself was wrapping its arms around all of us as we gathered to remember her. Seeing my mom's photo up on the screens around the room, surrounded by family and friends sharing stories, laughter, and tears, is something I'll never forget. The service that night was incredible. The staff moved through the room with such care, making sure everyone felt looked after, but never once making it feel like just another event. The bartenders, especially, brought such an open, easygoing energy -- they were so fun to be around, and they helped lighten the mood in a way that let us laugh and celebrate my mom's life, even amid the grief. Looking back, that mix of comfort and joy meant so much. The food was super delicious too, and in moments like this, even small things -- a warm meal, a kind smile, a drink poured with a little extra care -- mean far more than people realize. I have to give a heartfelt and BIG shoutout to Amanda, the event coordinator/manager. She was an absolute sweetheart, and her calm, caring presence made it possible for our family to actually be present in the moment instead of worrying about logistics. She made sure everything -- from the setup to the TVs and microphones working perfectly for the tributes -- ran smoothly, and her thoughtfulness didn't go unnoticed by any of us. Hosting something this meaningful in a space that felt this beautiful, with people this kind, made all the difference on one of the hardest days. I am endlessly grateful to Amanda, the bartenders, and the entire team at Tonic for helping us celebrate my mom's life with so much love. I can't recommend this venue enough!!

Menu was great, many choices of meats and seafood without overdoing it. Food was served timely and cooked perfectly. Had the twin lobster tails and 10oz filet. Seemed that they were hosting Ella wedding party but you never would've known it. They also had live music which you were able to see from the bar, and a few tvs at the bar for sports viewing. We will definitely keep this on our short list. And our waitress, Sabrina, provided excellent service!
