I will give Fed EX ground a 2.5. Fed EX customer service and their automation service a 2.5. An incident occurred over the weekend which resolved with me picking up my delivery at the main warehouse. Once I made enough "text with a bot" c/o, I did receive a call the next morning from customer service. After a refusing to wait another 2 days for my delivery, I was able to go to the warehouse and pick it up. A ring cam at my neighbors house provided more information about the delivery. I would like to discuss the situation further with customer service however... automation bots block me from doing this. Your automated system needs some work FED EX, you have good employees however you give them no support. Awful! They lie, the drivers never actually go to the address they just write no one was there... I was literally waiting at the door for the package they didn't bother to stop, and they showed a fake picture that they did, they didn't left any notes or anything. And then when I call one representative says, the driver will call tomorrow. Then the next one says the drivers aren't allowed to call... The first representative says, the package is scheduled for tomorrow which was a Sunday... The next representative says it will be the next business day which was Monday. Mind you, this was scheduled to be here by Friday! Not only that but when I asked if I could pick it up, they say NO, because we need to attempt three times... 4117 McKinney Falls Pkwy in Austin Tx Fedex Ground driver(s), Monday - Thursday the driver is professional we always receive our packages however Friday-Sunday the driver doesn't even bother with coming to Bridge at Sterling Village Apartments to deliver and or if he comes he will drive directly through the complex w/out delivering any packages. I have literally chased behind a driver on Saturdays to get my item from him on the truck. This is so unprofessional on Friday-Sunday. Today is Friday 06/05/26 Ive been home all day awaiting my pkages so for the driver at 3:40pm to send me a message stating NO APT Number listed that's a freaking lie. I have filed multiple complaints concerning the lack of accountability for the Ground Service and nothing happens. If the driver(s) doesn't like delivering packages by all means get a new job. Took money from my check because a route was unfinished. Third day driving and gave me a route an hour and a half away and un trained on it. Backland is trash and they just expect the most with little return. No ac in trucks No waters, vehicles are extremely dirty and the has cards dont work. Wow. I really canceled all my plans and waited around, literally watching (on my home security cameras) for my package. I see the fedex truck pull up and wait for them to come to the door so I can sign, and after sitting around for 30 seconds, the driver completely just drives off. Never even got out the truck, grabbed a package, or attempted to deliver anything! But I sure did get notice that they "attempted" to deliver and no one was home. That's funny. Constantly messing up.. I always get delayed deliveries by 1/2/3 days and that's not even with weather issues cause that causes even more additional days of delays. When I call their customer service number to see why they missed the real delivery date, they tell me that a delivery was attempted but that is a complete lie. I am home all day, I have no video footage of anyone coming from FedEx and they have the reason delivery attempted as the reason why I can never get my package on time. They are supposed to be open on Sunday according to the customer service number but everything online says they are closed today so not sure what is correct. This is the worst place to receive your package!! I noticed every day my package was supposed to be delivered a fedex driver will sit in front of my house for 15-20 mins without delivering anything to my house!! I have already gotten rid of my refrigerator thinking I was going to receive my replacement December 3, December 4, December 5, December 6 and still have not received my item. I must echo what everyone else is saying. FedEx has been an absolute nightmare from hell to deal with. Just bought a new house in a gc, so I provided specs with the code. FedEx claims to have attempted delivery 3x and that they left a door tag explaining why they couldn't deliver. Ran the surveillance footage and no such thing happened.. Their customer service line is completely useless. You're greeted by a seemingly pleasant automated voice but she will hang up on you if you don't tell her what she wants to hear! If you do get a live human on the line they will also be utter useless. They spew misinformation, repeat the same information you can find online yourself by using your tracking number or frankly difficult to understand. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE FEDEX! FedEX Corporate Support and Services are FANTASTIC! This particular area needs a new DM or how ever they set up their areas/regions. I have NEVER had issues in the various other stats I have lived over the past decade....Texas businesses just seem to have some serious problems with educating and incentivizing local personnel in my opinion. FedEx CARE MORE about your employees from top to bottom and we will have better service/delivery all around. This area is just booming and they probably cannot keep up with the workload; we all KNOW it. I am trying to have as much compassion for this situation. Fed ex ground is useless. I live in an apartment and last Saturday was the last straw. I was expecting a delivery from Hungry Root and expecting it to be delivered to my doorstep but The Fed Ex driver had different ideas and decided he didn't want to bring it up to my 3 rd floor apartment. So he left my delivery of perishable food on the doorstep of some place I did not recognize in the photo of proof of delivery . I filed a report with FedEx and after three days they said my package was delivered and if I still did not have it to contact the sender. This is bull and this is the 4 th time this has happened to me where I have had to go and find my delivery. It usually happens on weekend deliveries. I do live in a gated community but the manager told me Fed Ex has the code to open the gate. So it comes down to the driver not wanting to complete his job. Needless to say I have cancelled my subscription to Hungry Root as I can not be sure Fed Ex will deliver, I also stopped ordering online from Costco due to the same experience. Before anyone gets on my case, I am undergoing chemo and radiation and therefore am reliant on delivery services. But now will pay some one to do my shopping and deliver it to my door. Shame on you Fed Ex. UPS and Amazon deliver to the front door and from now on I will not order anything that uses Fed Ex as it's delivery service. read more

I send a package FEDEX which runs to this station and it was either left off the delivery to make room for other packages or the station decided not to do deliveries on Christmas eve. Ever wonder where your package goes when you miss three delivery attempts? It goes here. The lady at the window is super nice, but boy is this place hard to find. It is way back behind the Ben E. Keith distribution center off of McKinny Falls Parkway, with no signs or anything to indicate that it is back there. Once you get there, you have to be buzzed in through the gate. That and the six foot fence topped with barbed wire makes it feel like you're visiting a penitentiary. My suggestion? After two attempts, go online and have it delivered to a FexEx facility close to you. read more

This facility tried to steal a product from me -- I will be filing an internal investigation report. I ordered a product worth $2300 from a reputable vendor and it was shipped through FedEx. The package was scheduled to be delivered on Thursday, September 5 at 11am. I redirected the package to be delivered between 5-8pm on the same day because I was at work and wouldn't be able to sign for it -- it never arrived. The first time I called to ask about this, the FedEx customer service rep hung up on me. When I finally got someone to talk to me, they guaranteed it would arrive the next day. Likewise, the system said that the scheduled delivery was pushed to Friday, September 6 from between 5-8pm -- waited up all night, and it never came. Then the status of the package updated to "pending". I called at least five more times, and no one was helpful or could locate the package. I had to ask several times for a specific address (all of these calls should be recorded and on record too), and was finally VERY reluctantly given the address to this facility. The customer service reps kept wanting to hang up the phone and "call me back" because they could not locate the laptop, even though its last location according to tracking was their facility. I knew this was a lie, and showed up at the hub to pick it up. When I got there, the manager Maria told me that the package was in a holding bin -- when I asked why it was in a holding bin when I never requested it be held, I was given no answer. When I asked for a paper invoice and receipt showing that the package was picked up at 9:30 am on Saturday, September 9th, she pulled the invoice OUT OF A TRASH CAN, looked at it, and said that there was no paperwork... She also insisted that the package was lost by the company that I ordered it from -- this was a lie. It was lost under FedEx's care. Later this day, a FedEx truck stopped in front of my home but didn't deliver anything -- the second the truck left, I got a text update that the product I had picked up that morning had just been delivered to my door... This was a blatant attempt to cover their tracks. I refuse to use FedEx ever again in the future. read more

Received two separate emails on 8/12/2019 claiming package was delivered at the location at two different times. Funny, no package here though system claimed it was delivered at 11:11 and than again at 3:00. Checked security video - no Fed Ex truck even the parking that day. Contacted customer service - zero assistance in resolving the problem or even locating the package. Two days later - no package - no answers - no refund - even after customer service said I would get a call with an explanation at the very least. The few times I've had to use FedEx because for whatever reason it was the only option, I've had an issue - delays, wrong location, damage and now, delivery claims that it was delivered when it wasn't. I ordered 4 new tires from a tire store in Austin. Fedex ONLY put 3 tires on truck that were delivered. The worker didn't feel like loading 4th tire and left it at terminal. Fedex workers are lazy! How hard is it to load 4 tires that you have? Driver's comment: 4th tire is still at terminal and hopefully they load it in am to be delivered! I've stopped using Fedex! My personal experience has been that FedEx does not like to come up to the second floor to deliver any packages and I'm tired of hunting them down in my courtyard or getting them from the front of someone else's door on the first floor of my building. Essentially, it's laziness. You can call the field office at this number 512 386 7186. If that doesn't work, to be successful in getting assistance you can call the one 800 number and go through the motions. When you speak to the outsourced customer service representative, simply asked to speak to someone higher up. literally use those words. They will transfer you. Once you've been transferred, that person will be able to reach out directly to this location. from there, you should expect a call back from the field office. read more

They re routed my packages to a FedEx location claiming they don't deliver to my apartment complex, when I have received packages from them before and I see the FedEx truck there every day. They LOST a big package as well and now they are not taking accountability. This location needs to figure out what's wrong and FIX IT. I never received a call back from the "case manager" to let me know they had lost the package. I've had to call 17 times to FedEx to figure out what is going on. Ive gotten the run around from FedEx since Monday I keep getting updates on the side saying "out for delivery" "it was dropped off" and "couldn't be delivered" for all the packages and then yesterday found out that one was lost at the FedEx center. One of my packages has medical supplies for my son that now it's turned into an emergency because it's been days without his supplies. Please NEVER use FedEx they have horrible customer service. I've spoken to a number of representatives and supervisor and they don't update the profile so no one knows who I've spoken to already and they all seem to be on different pages. Had an issue since it was my first time sending stuff to Mexico. The Mexican government (mailing people) wants the tags to be on the things and since it was a gift I was trying to send without them. The first costumer service person was a little bit rude; I had to go back to find the tags and the second person who a senior person was incredibly nice and save my day. This place is definitely open and available to the public as of March 2020. The FedEx store on E Ben White was a nightmare but the people at this shipping terminal are super friendly and helpful. It is hard to find and does look like a penitentiary as others have mentioned but it's a huge shipping terminal and not designed for the public. They went out of their way to find a package that was mistakenly on its way back to the sender without complaint or hesitation. The FedEx employees I have spoken to over the past few days have one amazingly common attribute. They have an adept ability to come up with a lie expeditiously! Amazing! Waiting at home for 2 days, I simply needed a package pick up. I called customer service and was told everything from because it was a residential pick up I had to give the driver until 8 pm to "I will call the dispatcher for you" only to be transferred to a rude lady trying to sell me a product. I called again at the end of the 2nd day, was transferred to the dispatcher directly with no introduction. I advised him that I was lied to 7 different times. Well, he decided to add more lies to the pile. First, he said the apartment number was missing, though I confirmed it with each call. Next lie, "it was only in the notes on the delivery ticket." He proceeded to narrate the 'no one wants to work and good help is hard to find' comedy/tragedy. When I responded in silence, he said a driver tried to pick up package at 3 pm. Well, surprise, surprise, video footage showed a UPS driver delivering in the area at that time...FedEx nowhere in sight. I mentioned this to the liar and he said, "Oh, you know all the games!" Really?! Why should this be a game? Just do your jobs with integrity for the sake of all humanity!!!!!! read more

I would give no stars if I could FedEx ground, not to be confused with regular fedex, is the worst way to ship or receive a package. They refuse to hold it at their facility, their drivers are the laziest ones around. They have terrible customer service. I will never use Fed Ex again. I have had two packages that were not just poorly dealt with, but down right appalling. The first package, I checked the tracking number, and it said delivered. No package on our property. Called to find out what was going on, and the driver gave a description of a property where package was left that was not ours. Wash, rinse, repeat. On the fourth attempt, we finally received our package that was time sensitive (received it a week and a half late). Two months later, I am waiting for another package, and cringed when I saw it was Fed Ex. So the day of delivery, I called Fed Ex to give them an explanation of our property. Told them it was in a private gated community and gave them the code. Described our property and where to leave the package. Deja vu!! Tracking number says delivered but no package in sight. They are saying it will be next week before I get the package. I asked about the ground delivery guarantee. "3 days." When asked what the consequence of not receiving the package within 3 days, well we guarantee two working days to get it to you. I don't think they know what the word guarantee means. This saga is still going on. I have not received my product yet, and I will call every vendor who has sent me packages via Fed Ex, and tell them the ridiculous story. I know for a fact that there is only one of my address in Dripping Springs, TX, so how is it that packages can be delivered to the wrong address consecutively? If I could leave a negative review, I would. I called the number listed for Fed Ex Ground at the McKinney Falls location, and it says the number is disconnected. Never again!! read more
