Unfortunately, my attempt to resolve the issue through the provided email address left me feeling even more frustrated. Upon emailing them, I received an automated response, assuring me that they would get back to me. However, weeks have passed, and I have not received any further communication. This lack of follow-through suggests that the contrition expressed in their response was not at all sincere, but instead likely just a bot-generated response. Worst store ever, horrible and angry staff. I dropped off a package, at 10:30AM on March 7th, which they boxed and were to ship that same day, paid extra to get there "guaranteed" by Monday (9th) @ 10:30AM. I was told the truck would be there at 3PM for pickup. Monday comes and the UPS tracker shows the package has never been shipped, and then finally at 5:48PM the package is shipped from their location. I called to inquiry why - was told all packages were picked up on Saturday. Obviously, by my receipts, this is not true. I received nothing but attitude about this, and was told to speak to the Store Manger. I called today (3/10) and the Store Manager gave me more attitude - kept arguing with me that the vehicle had a mechanical issue this morning (the 10th), totally ignoring the fact that it was supposed to be shipped on the 7th (wasn't shipped up until the 9th) and supposed to be delivered on the 9th and that their store did not print the delivery label until 3:41PM - which was after the pickup at 3PM that day. If you want your package to arrive, DO NOT ship through this location. The absolute worst UPS store I've ever used on 20+ years. Once they ship the package they are done serving you as a customer. They had to redo the name on the package 3x after I left the store. I paid $47 to ship to Canada. This was the 2nd time in 3 weeks I shipped to the same person and address. We get a notice from UPS that we owed $317 for the shipment to be delivered. So UPS held the package. The person receiving it was there for vacation and had a short window to receive it. It was supposed to be delivered August 4th and by today the 11th it had still not come and the person receiving it was leaving. I got told by UPS no less then 3x to contact this store. Every time they did they kept telling me to call back the 800 #. They lifted zero fingers to help. The front desk at this UPS store was uninterested, snarky and dismissive. read more

Wished the employee today would have provided her name before she hung up from her screaming on the phone and basically calling me, the paid loyal customer for a year that I was wrong.. The employees all tell you different things from no deposit or setup fee to get your deposit back to completely the opposite. Baffling. They always say they will have Lizzy email you. The owner Lizzy never emails me. The guy told me my ck that would come he'd call me. The other girl yelling saying no way, you don't pay to forward we return to sender. They even sent an email saying to pick up your pkg or else you Pay a stock fee after 3 days. Hold up... if you even get all your packages when you go. They forget. I go here only because it's walking distance from where I live. Most of the time I go, I just need to print one or two pages, but I end up spending at least 15 minutes there because the computers rarely work properly. They are extremely slow and sometimes you have to swipe your card multiple times before it recognizes the payment. Overall, the staff is ok, but I wouldn't recommend going here if you need to print. read more

They charged me $5 for nothing at all. In order to print at this UPS Store, you need to log in to their computer, which charges you like $3 up front and then keeps charging you by the minute. The computer kept crashing and never let me print out what I needed to. The employee who helped me couldn't make the computer work either. (It wasn't his fault--the computer kept crashing. Nobody could make this thing work.) I had to walk away without anything printed because it simply couldn't get done. I watched someone in front of me try to print something for 10-15 minutes--all the while getting charged by the minute--but the computer kept crashing and he was unable to do it. The manager heard his story and didn't want to refund him the computer time, so I didn't even bother asking to talk to the manager when it did the same thing to me. To be clear about one thing: the counter staff were kind to me and helpful, and it was not their fault. But the MANAGER knows there is a problem and is fine with scamming people out of their money. If you have no choice but to try to print here, ask them up front: "Am I going to get refunded for computer use if I'm unable to print because your computer keeps crashing?" If they refuse to agree to this, turn around and walk out the door--otherwise they'll scam you too. read more

For mail people, the employees are always refreshingly pleasant. They don't give me any attitude and the process of getting something packaged and shipped is easily understandable and consistent. Star docked because it can be pricey (I think it's worth it, for the experience) and because there are only two (maybe three max) scales and registers, so if it's a weekend or holiday... you're gonna stand around waiting for a while. read more

I have been a mail box customer at the S Congress UPS store for over a year and it's the best UPS store I've used. I have had UPS boxes for the last seven years. Previous to this store I rented from UPS stores in Colorado and Nevada, when I lived in those places. The staff at this store always greets me with a smile and my name, even when they're busy. They are always working hard to make sure that I receive packages quickly. They've also helped me with shipping a variety of items and look for the best way to get it to its destination. Forest is the manager and always has a great team that's focused on customer service. A few faces have changed over the last year, but Jahliese, Alex and Shawn are always friendly and helpful. I love this service because I always know that my online purchases are safe when they arrive and I get an email notification to pick them up. I've recommended it to lots of friends too. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! owner threatened me! I came in to this location send a package to my girlfriend argentina. i had a quote for 140$ they wanted 270. i wanted to get the package there so i ponyed up, after some very specific questions about fees and import taxes. i was told the 270 was all inclusive and that the package would arrive in 5 days. i specifically made sure no one would ask my girlfriend for any more money upon delivery as this was a surprise gift. the staff was clear, this was door to door and no other funds would be needed. after losing my package for 6 days (package arrived 2 weeks later) they tried to charge her $750 to receive the package. i attempted to resolve this with the manager, who said i could pay all over again to have it sent back to me or i could pay these exorbitant taxes, which they could not provide a breakdown of. even if i had the package sent back for another $270, i was told i would not receive a refund. they held my gift hostage for more money and refused to honor their words despite having the promises made to me on video and audio in the store. i disputed this charge with my credit card company as the charges and services were not as stated by the staff. i then received a call from the owner this morning from the owner Jay, who rang me 3 times in a row, called me a theif and THREATENED ME. i asked him to review the audio of what his staff promised, he said :i dont need to, i have your signature and the fine print says there may be hidden or import fees, so it doesn't matter what my staff told you.... thanks Jay! i think are a true money-before-integrity businessman who does not stand behind the documented promised of his business and staff. also, FYI this place is not affiliated with UPS. they are a 3rd party with no responsibility. the store name is simply a marketing scheme to inspire false confidence. as an amendment- since Jay chose to comment below. his staff explicitly told me there would be no additional taxes or fees beyond what i had paid. i even inquired directly as to this, and received a direct answer which Jay has on tape but refuses to honor. He did indeed threaten me with charges of theft (laughable) for simply disputing this transaction with my credit card company. There are no teeth to this, especially since the video and audio are clear. However, Jay is refusing to furnish that information to the credit card company as he knows it will disprove his claims and case. Nice attempt to put a pleasant public face on this Jay, but you called me repeatedly this morning until i chose to answer this unknown number and then called me a thief after holding my gift hostage. provide the audio and video instead of hiding it and honor the words of your staff. I come from a long line of Postal employees. Well, there are about 5 in my family, so I'm very bias towards the Post Office. This UPS might turn me into a believer. The customer service was awesome. They girl behind the counter, notarized a paper, put it in an envelope, got me a stamp, printed a label for a box I needed to ship, and had me out the door in about 10 minutes. She even bantered with me, I think I might go back and ask her to hang out sometime. This UPS is privately owned, so they do not have a return shipping service and they will not ship out your FedEx packages. (Seems obvious, but these were the questions other customers asked while I was in line) I don't care where you live in Austin, come to this UPS. Plenty of parking and you can get in and out quickly and with a smile on your face the whole time. read more

This place is a rip-off. I fully expect to pay a premium to have an item packed instead of doing it myself, but this was excessive. After successfully selling my flat screen iMac for $250, I took it to this UPS Store to have it packed. Here's the total bill: $22.45 for 1 cardboard box $24.95 for bubble wrap and tape $9.96 for labor $2.00 "access fee" to print out the prepaid UPS Shipping label I emailed to them. $63.38 (with sales tax) for a box, tape, bubble wrap, and probably 10 minutes of labor at the most. If I had more time to check out other stores, I would have gone somewhere else. read more

I have simply never been to a shipping store (UPS or otherwise) where they require you to pay to rent time on a store computer in order to print a prepaid return label made specifically for UPS. It is completely mind boggling that this location isn't able to scan, print, and attach labels for shipping services that are already paid for by clothing and similar companies. While I was trying to question the charge some nerdy Mexican dude kept interrupting me then said, "Nobody likes a complainer."
