Someone is using this company as a 'front' for a scam. I rec'd an email which requested payment to renew my gmail account. The given email address was lengthy -- lots of characters -- and the body of the email had an unsubscribe address which matches this company's address. I tried to call and advise what I'd found so that remedial action could be taken, but no one answered my call, and the voice mail was full, so I hung up. This scam has evidently been going on for some time because there is a picture of the request, dated in August of 2025, for payment on YELP. I mailed a package to Germany in early February for $241, and 3.5 months later I finally get it returned to me because of clerical errors made at this location. The owner was not willing to look into it the first time (one month in) without me telling her I expected better customer service, and resulted in a total of 3 trips to this location, 3 trips to the USPS, and a few lengthy phone calls to the International Investigation Dept., totaling over 9 hours of my time wasted. I called her about this package when I first had it returned, and made an appointment for 10am on Wednesday. Two days later she doesn't even show up for said appointment after waiting 20 minutes and did not give any type of sincere apology later that afternoon, instead acted like a disgruntled employee being forced to do something she didn't want to: give proper customer service. After spending 4.5 hours today going back to finish what was to be started at 10am, the USPS manager determined that it was indeed a clerical error on her company and she was STILL saying she wasn't going to return my $241. In the end, I told her I thought it would be appropriate to return my money because I paid $241 for a package to be delivered that never made it through customs, her cash register took my money, and her company made the mistake. When I asked her if that sounded reasonable, she tilted her head and smirked. In the end I got my refund, but at a HUGE cost of my time. When I was begrudgingly refunded my money, I read out loud the extremely positive post I made praising her company in late January. She stormed off and I had to remind her, "You're welcome". Sorry, not sorry. If this was an employee, Jacklyn would be fired in less than a month, instead she's rude, snappy, and acts like an entitled business owner. Not a big fan of someone who won't take ownership of something at the expense of wasting hours of your time. Not a positive experience at all. read more

I normally don't review mail places but wow! I haven't been in this place in over a year and apparently there's a new owner. I came here for my i9 professing. The new owner Is SO NICE and the place looks completely different. I should've taken a picture and posted it. It's like a mini shop inside with awesome smelling candles, socks, and dog gifts. I got ripped off and had to, after some headache, ship product back to China. These people helped. They also helped when the product was returned because DHL had some crazy rule about the shipment. New Customer Service not a priority. I needed to get a DBA notarized. Popped in. The man putting up the mail said the woman on the phone notarized documents. Patiently waited for a few minutes. They had Fleetwood Mac playing and will always listen to Stevie. The woman put the phone on hold, came over, turned the music down next to me, then returned to the phone. She then called out that she was going to be a while, followed by I don't do one notary at a time. Considering we shop at Randall's and several stores near by, won't even give this place a second thought. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she wasn't having a good day. I've worked retail food service and get that...but her attitude- that will stay with me for a long while. read more

First time into this location... I came in a few minutes early for a fingerprint appointment. The gentleman at the front desk informed me it would be a few minutes, so my son and I start looking at the stuffed animals that they have for sale. I told me son that he could pick one out, so we were looking at them all to figure out which one we would buy after my appointment. A second employee came in and started my fingerprint session. While this was going on, my son sat on the ground with two of the toy animals and was playing with them. The employee at the front asked me if my son could not sit on the ground with the toys, so I told him to stand up and he resumed playing with them while standing. The employee who was helping me with my appointment turned to me and said, "Actually, my boss is just being nice; we would really appreciate if he put them back and not touch them." I asked him to repeat himself because I thought I misheard him. He repeated it and I replied with an "ok," and told my son to return the stuffed animal to the shelf. I was confused about what was going on, but remained neutral, as we were in the middle of the appointment. We continued my appointment while my son waited at the front door, opening it occasionally. The appointment was finished and we left without purchasing the stuffed toy. It was almost surreal to be told that a three year old little boy couldn't touch or play with a stuffed animal that we were going to be purchasing. He wasn't being destructive or harmful at all. (I'm the first person to recognize when my kiddos are misbehaving, so please don't think I'm "one of those" parents and just glossing over.) His boss had asked that my son not sit on the floor and we immediately complied. It wasn't a big issue and I understood why he didn't want my son on the floor with toys, even if we were going to be purchasing one of them. For an employee to go behind their boss' completely resolved interaction with a customer was very odd. While I can appreciate that he felt he was doing his duty, I really feel that this employee missed the mark with regards to customer service and retention. read more

It would be nice if this business kept to its hours. I made a special trip there today and half an hour before the nominal closing time, the store was shut, locked, and dark. I wasn't the only would-be customer who walked up and then had to turn away. I saw a steady stream of walk-ups and drivers who parked here and went to the store only to be frustrated. Update: October 2017: The quality of customer service has also drastically declined in recent months. Current staff is almost wholly unhelpful about working the machines or computers. You have to drag them to the scene and assist you when you have a problem or question, and then they disappear again. Staff here used to be more helpful. I just left rather than keep fighting for basic assistance on an unfamiliar machine. KInko's got that business instead. And note to the response from the owner: I said I was there 30 minutes before the posted closing time, and I meant it! I can tell time. I had something important to ship, and this location was close by. There's only a few places that I've ever left due to service, and this was one of them. My shipment was a small to medium size box, about the size of two kid's shoe boxes. In it contained a project that consumed the previous three week in addition to regular work. I literally put at least 100 hours into this project. The final product was quite fragile and should be kept in an upright position. This was denoted by the signs I secured on the box. I also had a large envelope to ship as well. And the dialog went something like this: Me: I want to ship this. Loopy counter clerk: Okay. *weighs envelope that contains one sheet of standard weight paper* That will be 1.98. Me: What? 1.98 to mail a piece of paper? Clerk: Yes. It goes by size of the envelope. Me: Whatever. Let's move on. Clerk: *weighs and measures my box. Turns the box on the side* Me: That's supposed to be upright! Clerk: Oh. Hehehe... okay. Me (already annoyed with her at this point): That's very fragile. I'd appreciate it if you take care of it. I feel the urge to leave. The clerk proceeds to ask me my information and the shipping information to enter into the computer. Grouchy woman from the back runs up and turns my shipment on its side again. This is a project that I've spent at over 100 hours on producing, and this is how they treat it in my presence with my monitoring. I wonder how they treat packages when I'm not around. Me: This needs to stay right side up. *points to the sides of the box with signs* Clerk: For arrival on Friday is 106 dollars, shipping on Monday is 50 dollars. Me: Whoa. I just checked the prices on FedEx online. It's something like 27 dollars on Friday. Grouchy woman: *rudely* We have to mark up prices to make a profit. Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah..... Me: Bye! I picked up my things and left promptly. For the record, that same package shipped at the FedEx Office was just 18.65 to arrive on Monday. It was only 8 dollars or so for ground shipping. And they put FRAGILE stickers all over it. Also, they were really nice to me. For the record, a one ounce 9x11 inch envelope is only 88 cents to ship at the post office. Mail and More, come here to be overcharged for shipping and your fragile packages mishandled. Good thing I didn't ship my Siamese fighting fish in that box. read more

I don't know what's going on here - other than the shortage of shipping businesses and Fed Ex drop off locations in SW Austin has these folks thinking my business isn't worth their time. Turns out this place - along with PostMark'd just down the road at Slaughter and Escarpment - have decided they are not going to accept Fed Ex packages with handwritten airbills. So here I am, on deadline, trying to get these last minute packages out - and I'm pretty much SOL. In a perfect world, my company would allow the use of pre-printed airbills by contract employees...but no. They don't want the account # floating around out there. I often need to put packages together on short notice and get them out that day. The problem is that other than the traffic nightmares of Fed Ex Kinkos in Sunset Valley or the drop box at the Oak Hill post office - I am unaware of any other drop off locations. The reasons for this decision are iffy - at best. At first the guy told me it had to do with security and a new law that requires photo ID to ship a package to prevent fraud. That's why he said they now only accept pre-printed or typed bills. When I asked "couldn't a pre-printed or typed bill also be faked?" he stammered...Turns out it really has to do with them trying to avoid getting charged if there is an error on the bill. I don't know if that's true of not. All I know is if I make a mistake on a bill I later get billed for it. The Fed Ex location in Sunset Valley said I was the second person that hour and the third that afternoon to complain about the policy - which they said to their knowledge doesn't even exist! Interesting how two places within a few miles of one another make this change the same week. Do they share common ownership? Why not just say - "we are busy and don't want to deal with it" or "we only care about unsuspecting people who come in here to ship packages at marked up prices"? Sure- I suppose they have the right to do it, but I also have the right to never visit these locations again for any reason. read more

The young man at the register was very uninformed and uninterested in his product. I had called ahead asking if there were flat rate priority mail available in store, and I took his brevity as a sign he may have just been busy. When I arrived I asked about a small flat rate priority mail envelope that he said was $9... I have been to the post office many times and the padded full size are $7.20, I asked about the difference in price and he could not explain to me and he made no attempt to find out an answer to my question. He offered me his "boss's card" which he admitted was just the store number that I could leave a message, not reaching anyone who could answer my question at the moment. I left and went another 2 miles to the post office to mail my packages. Update: There was another review a few years back about this same issue where it wasn't indicated clearly what the upcharge rate was to use this mail service center. Trying to clarify the prices before I purchased is obviously a part of a business's responsibility. I needed answers in order to mail several small packages. When this couldn't be provided in-store, in-person and the clerk at the counter couldn't call the owner himself to clarify, I didn't find that to be helpful customer service from a business or mailing perspective. According to the business owner's response below, although my above review was objective in nature, has decided to verbally attack me about it in his response which may be slightly unfair among other things: "The customer obviously has other issues going on; wrote a nonsensical review; got angry (I never did, just said I was disappointed and took my business to the post office); and that I was an unreasonable person who didn't have the sense to ask about the pricing (but I did, but no I didn't have the time to call a number, leave a message and wait for a call back not knowing how long that would take)." I imagine if anyone has a future question they may receive swift responses by asking through yelp on a review. read more

I know most of the time people just need to ship routine items, but my project was in fact a project and he worked with me to get it done right before the FedEx pickup that day. by contrast, the previous day I stopped by to see how well a nother UPS Store was going to package these items, and I was just so dismayed by a befuddled older gentleman who just had no idea what his own inventory of packing materials was that I spent some time here on yelp trying to figure out where to turn. As the owner, Mike was very knowledgeable and competent, knowing the sizes, load ratings, and how to pack the boxes, and I felt obliged to leave him a tip for his extraordinary effort. Worst service ever!!! I normally don't write a bad review, save yourself and don't go to this place. I was just coming in to make a couple of copies. First of all they advertise that their copies are only $.15 a piece per black-and-white and my total came up to $.32. So they have some false advertising. It costs less at FedEx to get copies done ( 12 cents each) and they have much better equipment and much better customer service. So when I first walked in I let them know that I was the girl who just called and that I needed to make some copies. So I asked him to show me where to make the copies. The assistant manager kind of looked up and pointed over to the machine. So then I walked over to the machine and I couldn't figure out how to turn it on. And then I asked him if he could help me and he walked over reluctantly and started helping me with his energy being irritated that I was asking for his help. I think he was already irritated with me because when I called and I was in a hurry. The copier wasn't working or printing my copies. He was trying to assist me for about 2 to 3 minutes trying to get the copier to copy my papers.by this time I was starting to get really irritated. And so I asked him if there was another way that we could print out my papers. At FedEx they will just plug in your USB to their computers if there's any sort of issues with their copier and they will print up your papers. So when I asked him that question he pointed over to the computer that you can rent and told me that I can use the rental computer to print my copies. I was appalled by the fact that he was willing to lose a customer over a dollar sale. And so I voiced that to him and instead of accommodating me, because their printer was not working, he instead told me basically that he didn't care if I shop there or not and that he was going to ask the manager to tell me to leave because I was being rude. At this time I was very shaken up by the idea that they couldn't accommodate me when their machine wasn't working. When the manager came out to speak to me he defended his assistant manager, and basically at that point was able to help me to get the machine to work. Then he proceeded to charge me the $.32, instead of just keeping me as a customer. I am never ever going back to this place. I am a professional and I have worked in retail before and I have never ever had anybody treat me like this as a customer before. If you decide to go shopping here be prepared to deal with some attitude's and the lack of good customer service. Also why don't you have proper advertising... Honesty can really pay off. He could have just as easily told me that with tax the price was 16 cents per copy with the tax.... I think they just say " 15 c" Bc they are directly competing with fed ex and they know that fed ex charges a lot less. That can really add up when you are making 500 copies for an event our promoting or something. Never getting any business marketing materials. Copies or any other service from this business. You would think that if they wanted their business to grow and flourish that they would treat their customers right! read more

Horrible customer service. Dropped off a package here to be sent overnight via FedEx. We printed the label at home, and when we dropped it off, the guy said "it's all good." then about 20 minutes later we get a call saying "The label was missing a portion, and we won't be able to send it like this. Come pick it up." COME PICK IT UP? Just because the label printing was messed up doesn't mean we still don't want to ship it. But that's not even the worst part. We are a business that needed to send a very important item overnight. After he called me, he then picked up the phone and called the customer and told her "Your package has a bad label on it, so you won't be getting it." WHAT? Why would anyone do that? He put our customer into a panic, when instead he could have just waited for us to arrive with a proper label. Poor judgement for a store that is supposed to be in the business of helping people ship items. read more

I've been here a few times to drop off packages for return and that's been fine though I've always noted that the prices are such that I'd hate to be stuck actually buying some of the overpriced packing materials. I know that's just the way it is at places like this but I figure someday someone will figure out a business model for something like this where it's not an inherently hated place to do business. Anyways, I actually had to come down here to fax something (whole other story marveling why some people still only accept faxes these days) and some of the fees listed on the website are misleading. According to their website under their "Copy, Fax, and Scan" section, there are pricing lists that talk about black & white pages, color pages, and scanning. There was nothing specifically spelling out faxing prices there so I figured it would fall under either the black and white listing or the scanning listing. Either of those would make it around $1.50 or $2.00 for my 10-page document. If you look at the image I posted (3rd image), what else could I have concluded? The actual answer, however was actually $1 per page and their website simply omitted this, making a potentially $1.50 job into a $10 job. It's not like I could've taken back my fax because they didn't charge me until after it was done and there were also no prices posted. If I had known the actual price, I would've waited to get it done at my office for free. Not a huge deal in this situation, but inaccurate websites bother me especially when the fix is so easy. At least it wasn't a 100-page document. I did try to complain on the stop but was just told with a shrug "that's just the price". I think other businesses would have given me the benefit of the doubt since their website was misleading and then gone and fixed their website. I suppose if I were them, I wouldn't want to admit that I was charging a dollar per page to fax to a toll-free number. read more
