SHOULD BE ZERO stars. For whatever reason FedEx Ground to Bluffton out of the Pooler, GA DistCtr is horrendous for late deliveries. Last month I had a shipment "out for delivery" for 9 business days in a row before it was delivered. Today, I'm seeing the beginning of the same pattern starting again. Yesterday the truck tracking map showed the truck all around my delivery address for over an hour. Closer every time I'd hit refresh. It got within a block and then when back to Pooler. Any time I have to have something delivered from FedEx in Pooler, Ga I know it will always come late with problems. I had a shipment that was supposed to be delivered today. I made it a point to be home to receive my item. I get an email from FedEx stating no one was available when they tried to make the delivery which is a lie! I have been home all day. I absolutely loathe getting deliveries from Pooler FedEx. It's always some BS and they can never just simply do the job and deliver your packages. read more

Fed Ex Ground Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, -- consistently horrible. For the 18-years I have lived on the Georgia Coast, Fedex services -- all of them -- have been consistently horrible. Horrible, in this context means ... 1. packages are not delivered at all even though FEDEX sends a notice an item was delivered; 2. parcels, packages are delivered to the wrong address 3. parcels, packages are left along side the road near our address 4. packages are thrown over our entrance gate and obstruct the gate from opening and, prevent other delivery services and visitors from accessing our property 5. contents of packages arrive in damaged condition 6. Service, as in timeliness of package transport, is tardy often enough as to be noticeable. It appears many of these Fedex Ground drivers are independent contractors. We see them deliver in U-Haul and other non-FEDEX brand trucks. The skills of these driver are terrible. Delivery Incidents Most recently (November 9, 2021), a contract delivery driver crashed into our entrance gate of our property. Sometimes our gate will wig-wag or open partially. The solution is to re-key the code and the gate will reset itself. Gate controllers are computers. These drivers do not seem to grasp this concept. The driver plowed through the gate, ripping hinges off the post, moving one post in the ground out of position, and, bent a gate panel. This damage was entirely unnecessary. Most reasonable delivery drivers, we assume, would know enough to not push through a computer controlled gate. Not the FEDEX contractors though! Insufficient neurons were firing on the day of this delivery. We filed a claim for damages. On a separate date, a FEDEX Ground driver, attempted delivery but no one answered the door bell quickly enough. The driver drove away and about 3/4 the distance down our driveway noticed someone was home. She backed up her truck over our lawn instead of backing up in our driveway or, leaving the property to turn around and return. The driver backed up over our lawn, over sprinkler system heads where over-the-ground flags were implanted and, broke pipes and sprinkler heads in our sprinkler system. This led to our well running continuously and pools of water rising out of the ground around the damaged water lines and heads. Why did the driver not stay on the driveway or at least heed the flagged areas and back up onto the lawn in between flagged areas. Who knows? We tell all vendors we deal with and, many we know who live in our area, to avoid sending anything by Fedex. FEDEX Ground for the Savannah area operates out of a distribution center at 505 Morgan Lakes Industrial Blvd, Port Wentworth, GA 31407. I have an item due into my FFL in Beaufort that was supposed to be delivered on yesterday. Tracking shows it arrived in Pooler on the 29th of December. Now it shows the item still in Pooler, but out for delivery. If it's not delivered today by 2 PM, I'm starting the process to open up an ATF investigation on this facility...tired of the games! read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever seen from anyone and that includes the governments USPS. Packages are sitting undelivered even after the emails have been received giving a delivery date and time. The worst part is they have no idea where there packages are or when they will be delivered. INCOMPETENCY at its best. Tracking shows my ordered item sitting in Pooler, GA for over a week and it is now well past delivery date. Not the first time FedEx has failed on a time-sensitive shipment. Use UPS, use USPS, just don't ever use FedEx. The CEO reportedly makes over 12 million yearly in salary for running a company whose only consistency is its ability to botch shipments - and then makes you jump through hoops to find your shipment once they do. read more

this facility has had our package for three days now each day saying that we are getting it that day. Yesterday it was even on a truck in the morning brought back to the warehouse at 1:27 PM then at 1:30 PM, they said it would be the next business day. Well guess what? The Pooler, GA location sets the absolute standard for what's known as garbage. I've had a package there since the 30th of December, supposedly out on a truck for delivery on the 31st... I honestly understood, because of the holidays, that things may be backed up. And when I got the notification that the truck had returned to the facility with my package late that evening that I would probably have to wait until 2 January to get it. I was wrong, there were no notifications for a couple of days, so I placed a call to FedEx and they put in a ticket to find out what was going on with my package. So, today I got a notification that it was on a truck for delivery between 11 o'clock and 3 PM. The driver shows up, I walk outside, he checks his truck twice, and then looks at me and says, "I ain't got it..." then he proceeds to drive off. Is this what customer service has come to? This facility needs to be under scrutiny and observed very heavily. I assume there is a lack of work ethic, attention to detail, and I'm just going to say it, they are lazy. FedEx used to be the gold standard. Now they are bottom of the barrel. Lazy. Fire every one of them and start over. read more

If you order something and they have to use FED EX let the company keep the item because it is not worth the frustration. Especially when they take a picture showing it was delivered to the wrong address and you are told to go and look around the neighborhood for your item that did not make it to your address. The companies name needs to be F-up instead of FedEX. Not only is your name and address on the item your receipt may be in there to. This is how people end up with your information. From this day on when I order something I will ask if they are using F-up for delivery if so I will cancel that order. this is the last time this will happen to me with F-up. read more
