If you have never had good bbq this might be ok but being from Kansas City this place has no idea how to smoke brisket.

I was in a rush on my lunchtime of playing a disc golf tournament in the area. I love BBQ and wanted to try some from the area. Yelp helped me find Fed Up and it was a remarkable choice. Fed Up is in what seems to be a house remodeling for a restaurant. There isn't much parking though. I had seen photos and a guy told me that I needed the brisket. Thar was a marvelous choice! The brisket was almost like a roast with all the brisket goodness. It was meaty with a good mix of fat and tenderness. I went with mac and cheese and potato salad. Both were marvelous choices. I was in such a hurry that I scared both of them down. But you can see the photos. The sauce was tangy with a little heat. It seemed to be a vinegar base. There were two reasons I knocked Fed Up down to a 4. First, I didn't think the sweet tea was all that good. Second, everything is a la carte. The sides were $4 each. They were worthy of $4 but I guess I was under the impression it was part of a plate. Look for Fed Up if you are in the mood for BBQ in Radcliff. read more

Found this little family BBQ restaurant right near Fort Knox, KY. It's a very small and comfy spot that has a nice charm and friendly, family atmosphere. The Buffalo wings were smoked, super tender, and had great flavor. My only disappointment was there was only 4 wings with the meal. The brisket was very moist and tender. Great flavor. The sides were unique and I could tell the recipes were homemade. Definitely coming back here when I'm in the great Fort Knox area! read more

If I could give a half star I would. Worst food let alone BBQ I have EVER ate. Picked up a to-go order on a Friday night well before closing. The meat was dry and burnt. So hard we couldn't eat it. $70 worth of food thrown out. The macaroni and cheese was over cooked. The noodles were dissolved. They left out one side in every dish and didn't expect anyone to notice. So I haven't tried anything else here yet. Key word is yet. But I ordered the loaded fries with brisket and they were amazing. The portion was big and I thought there was a good brisket to fry ratio. It's nice to finally find a quality bbq joint. I'm glad I found it posted on Facebook or I probably wouldn't have found it. I'll definitely go back to try more food. Walked in and asked the guy at the register if I seat myself for dine in. He said yes. I sit down and look at their menu online. 12 minutes goes by and he never spoke to me again. I was excited to try this bbq especially after reading the reviews. Place an order for pick up. It was $77 dollars I wasted!!! The best thing about the whole meal was the French fries!!! Ordered 3 rack of ribs. They were tough & fatty. Ordered 2 orders of the worst, toughest, flavorless brisket ever. Then ordered a pork/ French fries & brisket fries. The pork was dry & flavorless & brisket was tough. As for the service. The guy hung up without telling me when food would be ready. Took almost 40 min. And they put both orders of brisket in same box. So we called thinking that we were missing an order. So much for hoping I had a new bbq joint in my back yard. Save your money. read more

I just paid 22$ for food I'm not even gonna eat. Macaroni is dry and salty. Baked beans have pork in them which I do not eat and they smothered my brisket in nasty bbq sauce. Not to mention all the chunks of fat slathered in bbq sauce so you can't even see it. We ventured down to Radcliff for a Birthday lunch. We met here not knowing what to expect since this is a pretty new place and well to be honest I find that Louisville is over saturated with barbeque places and many are a big miss for me. So let me just say that I erroneously set my expectations for this place pretty low. But let me tell you that I'm so happy to be wrong. Let me first start with the atmosphere, it is warm, inviting and their playlist was setting a great tone. Second, the staff - from start to finish everyone was so nice. We were attended to quickly, provided specials and off menu items and struck up good conversation. We ordered the Big Fed Up to share and it was so perfect. Portions were enough to share......but I'm still a little grumpy that I willingly gave up the larger portion of the pulled pork sandwich to my kiddo before I knew how tasty it was. All the sides tasted exactly how I wanted and my husband talked about those baked beans all the way home. We did opt for a dessert because well banana pudding is hard to pass once you have such a well seasoned entree. And again, it was the most excellent follow up to that meal. This place has me wishing some places in Louisville could take note and learn to perfect bbq the same way. If this place was closer it would be added to our frequent stops but since they are not I hope that others read this and take a moment to stop by and give this place some attention to keep them thriving in a small community! read more

This restaurant is a little gem. We found it while looking for some bar-b-que near Elizabethtown. We arrived a little late in the evening but were welcomed warmly by Mitch. He was charming, attentive and friendly. We met some regulars who shared their favorites. The food was super tasty! The bbq sauce should be bottled and sold! We had the rib tips, and French fries with the brisket and pulled pork on top, fried cabbage and macaroni and cheese (amazing) and topped it off with some good old banana pudding. Small little bbq joint that is family owned and operated. Rita was the perfect host and made our dining experience like we were family sitting down at her table. The bbq is good, but ask for their homemade spicy bbq sauce on the side. The sides are fantastic and reminded me of my mothers's cooking.
