It definitely could be cheaper, and you *might* find better quality food at a larger restaurant, but this is a family owned restaurant. You won't get the same home cooked feel. Food is good. treid a spicy dish and came with some kimbap and side dishes. Everything came out fresh and to order. Portion size for price seems fair and side dishes were refilled upon request. There are a few Korean options in this area and this one is up there. The menu is has good options for people that might want to try different things. The service is standard and polite. WOW!!! One of the best Korean restaurants I have ever had in my life! The food here was phenomenal!! Everything was super delicious! Although the pricing that came with the food was questionable. But the unlimited banchan made up for it. Especially when my son only ate and liked the fish skin. Nice little hole in the wall restaurant with top notch food! Service was good! Our waiter was super friendly. He seemed a little annoyed and overwhelmed but he was good. Downfall to this place as everything else in town. They close super early 8pm. Stellar food. I've never been disappointed by anything I've gotten here. It is a bit pricy, but well worth it. On my most recent visit I got the Bibimbap. You can pay a little extra to get it in a heated stone bowl. It really does add to the dish because the bowl will crisp up some of the rice. They always give a variety of kimchi for the table to share as well. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is very clean. I would highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner! read more

Support small family businesses! Server was really friendly. This place can accommodate a large group. I came here to Ft. Knox for a course and was searching for a Korean place. This is the place. Friendly people. Quiet little spot. Yummy eats. I went solo my first time and ordered too much. Bon chon was awesome. Didn't taste too acidic. Fish skin is to die for. Always ask for more and they'll keep bringing it. Bulgogi beef was super lean and great flavor. Kimchi pancake the first night was really full of kimchi and crispy ends, but not the second time around. Bimbap beef tasted really clean. Veggies were steamed nicely with the right amount of sesame oil. All the veggies were fresh. Gorichuchang was on point, spicy and homemade of course. Great with everything especially veggies. No picture but kimchi fried rice had an egg over it but it needed more kimchi. Not too greasy either. Make sure you check the hours before you come. Call to verify so you don't get disappointed. The food is pretty good as far as typical Korean dishes. What i miss from most restaurants like this is the typical added Korean sides to take out orders. Most everywhere I've been to adds them and this place does not. Disappointing considering this place is also more expensive in comparison to other Korean restaurants I've eaten at. When you eat in they bring them if asked but not until. Inside is very plain but expected for location and style of restaurant. My fist experience here was great. I sought out to try the bibimbap. It was great and a very healthy choice. ai took it to go! The cashier even help me pronounce it correctly so that next time I come in I don't have to show a picture of what I want, I will know how to say it. Great hospitality, she nicely bagged my orders separately though it was a last minute request. She was really friendly about it. Instead of just handing me another bag she re-bagged it herself! I'll come here over and over again. This place is always quick with their food and fresh upon pick up. Currently their pick up orders to be safe with what's going on, but regardless their service and food stay as great before and during the pandemic. I've never been to Korea, but one of my girlfriends lived there, and she brought us there to guide us through the menu. She said this place is the best Korean around, including Louisville! I'd been to Song's a few times before, but having her explain the fare really added to the experience. The previous visits for me included the bulgogi & spicey pork - served with rice, and we ordered fried dumplings that were awesome. My friend suggested adding the NAPA Valley kimchee that added a great dimension to the meal. The locals flood this place at lunch, and their lunch specials include their most popular appetizers. At dinner, the take out is fast and furious. They are closed on Sunday, and I can see why - very hopping business! The ambiance is simple and clean. Why can't this place be located in Morgantown West Virginia! My friend Brian took me to lunch here the first Saturday I was at Fort Knox. He said he knew of a few gyms in the red Cliff area so we ended up at songs restaurant. We were greeted very politely as we first walked in and told to sit anywhere my friend Brian had been here before and said if you like me and Rice you will enjoy this place so I let him order form I had the buglogio with fried rice:) and gyoza it was delicious!!! The service was really good to impact our server checked on at at least three times my water glass was never empty and she in shored that I like my meal prior to ordering my fried rice she let me know immediately that fried rice was three dollars extra I appreciate it that even though I didn't mind the extra charge. The meat was cooked perfect and I really enjoyed the taste with all the vegetables and the fried rice I ended up back at songs later that week with a girlfriend of mine andshe was equally as impressed this is my local favorite for the immediate Fort Knox area:-) read more

The food here is awesome but the customer service I got today totally put me off to this place. Had an issue with an order that I usually get here and I try to explain to the waitress this is what I usually get when I eat here. I guess it's not a thing anymore no big deal I got something different, The reason for this review came when the waitress goes back to the cashier and they start talking about me , I mean at least go to the back or wait till I leave to talk about me. I didn't cause a scene just waited for my wife to finish eating her food, paid, and left. I even left a tip. This place obviously won't miss my business but it annoyed me enough to leave this review. read more
