Had the steamed dumplings and a chicken bulgogi. Traditional Korean appetizers were served. All the food was fresh and interesting. That said, bring your own entertainment (or your most gregarious friends). The ambiance of the restaurant resembles a bomb shelter. On a quiet day. The dining area was clean, but was furninshed like the basement apartment of a recent graduate with no money. Admittedly I dined in on a Monday night and was accompanied only by a pile of study materials. Still, the creepy silence, plastic tables and chairs, and bunker-like quality of the space made me not want to linger. I think this place would be stellar for take-out (I subsequently tried this and my order of glass noodles and beef was quickly prepared and delicious - Korean appetizers included for free). Also - be careful of yelp's directions. I was initially conducted to an address on Vine street way too far south. You may need to cut and paste the address into another app.

Korean Chicken Stirfry all of this is included. amd its yummy. kimchi is a little more spicy then i usually like. byt still very good.

to be honest. i thought why are there never any cars at the place. then i realized it is take out only. but with Song's kitchen closed for my kimchi fix. and i dislike Songs restaurant next to Autumn Gardens, i decided to give it a try. and boy i didnt know what i was missing!!! this we be our Korean spot when Songs kitchen is closed in the evenings.

    Delicious Bibimbap!

Song's was closed, so we walked over to Autumn. The place was dead but the owner greeted us with a smile and nodded for us to pick our table preference. I ordered the Bibimbap, wow, I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful flavors. The meat was marinated perfectly and the seasoned veggies on the side were a perfect compliment to the dish. The owner was very gracious to us, and I watched as he patiently attended to a loud and rude customer with a carry out order. I will definitely be coming back here!

Quick, easy, and cheap. Don't expect a large korea restaurant with little burners on each table and servers galore. Don't even expect a restaurant... this is a great korea diner setup in a former house. Great food and nice and cheap. If your in the Knox area and can't survive on burgers and random junk check it out. You will not be disappointed if you have a decent love of Kimchi and Korean food.

    Lunch special Bul Go Gi.

Very good lunch special. Food was tasty with just enough spice. Owner greeted us warmly and waited on us quickly. Definitely recommend for lunch or takeout. Don't let the exterior appearance deter you. It's worth it.

This plus a bowl of hot and sour soup was only $9.00!

Not too bad, great value. Not the best Korean I've had, but it was still good. It's a hole in the wall, and the server was the chef. He was very nice. I got the box meal for $9.00; it came with bul gol gi, hot and sour soup, spring rolls, a California roll (I subbed for a egg roll), rice, and 2 veggies. The veggies were your choice of kimchi. Meat was a bit tough, and I could have used a knife. Sauce was delicious and the right level of heat, not sure what it was meant to go on, but I put it on most everything. Kimchi was great.

Egg drop soup.. Comes with the box meal

Good quality Korean food, fairly priced for the quality. Take out only, and can call ahead for pickup

Tteokbokki is usually spicy, but this one was a bit sweet. The kimbap was above average. You should try it if you feel hungry while shopping in the mall. Strongly Recommended. -Addition- (8/4/2024) The restaurant added a new menu item, which prompted me to edit my review. The mixed grain powder bingsu was my favorite bingsu and I was surprised to find it here in Louisville Kentucky. I can highly recommend the other bingsus as well.

My husband enjoyed his hotdog with yum yum sauce it was half sausage and half cheese, though he said it was mainly cheese not sausage. His was warm to eat and held together. Mine on the other hand was scorching hot, the wooden dowel slipped right out and it appears all the cheese did as well. I ended up with a super fried outside full of hot grease and remnants of the cheese that was supposed to be in there. My guess is the frier was just up way too high. They also overlooked our order so we finally had to go ask about it. Also note in the middle of summer the food court area is very hot due to the skylights but it was stagnant in the sitting/dining area. Off this visit I don't know that I would be back for a Korean style hotdog anytime soon.
