Three months after updating my card info, I got pulled over and ticketed for driving under a suspended license without knowledge. The officer confiscated my license and my plates. During the time that my card had expired, State Farm suspended my license. My fault for letting my card expire and not updating it right away? Absolutely. But when I was on the phone with them updating my information 3 months prior, no one could inform me "Hey, by the way, we suspended your license."?! Nope. They just let me drive around without a phone call, or email, or letter making me aware of my situation. Why bother paying them over a hundred dollars a month when there is absolutely NO communication from their side? "Like a good neighbor" is not something that this office knows anything about...
