Pensions got their pack this morning. Mine is delayed without a delivery time. I always gotta wait longer for these people and you can't plan anything around what they say is the delivery date. Fed ex is a failing company that seems to somehow not only keep getting worse but also somehow stays in business. The last 5 items that have delivered from FedEx have had issues, late packages, packages delivered to the wrong house, horrible customer service who is trained to gaslight the customer one tried to convince me yesterday my package was gonna make it from Georgia to my house in less than 2 hours, my package didn't move for over 24 hours past the time it was scheduled to deliver. I paid for two days delivery. My package has bin stuck in this facility for over three days now going on four as of now. There is no explanation as of why. The FedEx customer service rep said the package arrived there but nothing has been updated since, no information at all. She tried to call there but no answer at this hub. This is an example of substandard performance and no management or leadership. This is an embarrassment for the good hard working employees at other hub centers. I recommend that the main headquarters of FedEx terminate this incompetent management and hire someone who can keep things rolling. Unfortunately nobody is held accountable for this substandard hud center. At least provide me with even a thread of information, would be helpful on why the package is stuck there. Again this is the result of poor management and lack of leadership. That is who is responsible! Another experience on a shipment due to arrive 6/1/24. The package was a replacement part for a tool I needed to use as soon as it arrived. It was shipped 5/30 and was to arrive 6/1. Sound quick to me. It arrived at this Independence location at typical time in the early morning (3:42AM) and allowing it to get on the truck for delivery. Independence is the last center a package goes to for the delivery truck that delivers to my location (Newport, KY). The package arrived on 6/5, four days late because instead of the item being put on the truck for a 6/1 delivery it was sent 120 miles away to the Indianapolis FedEx facility. The shipper filed a complaint to FedEx as will I. The item was extremely small. If large I could see where it might not be put on the truck that day. However that is not the case, and it was not simply held but sent 120 miles away and back. This location has made me hate FedEx as a company. They expressed no respect for my time and have held my package for several days regardless of my attempts to pick it up. I understand weather conditions but to not allow pickup before the expected bad weather then continue to give me ever changing delivery dates with signature requirements is an extreme disregard for my time. This place is absolutely BAD at communication, the fedex delivery manager app SUCKS, and the only time this company sends you a notification is AFTER they fuck off (IF THEY ACTUALLY COME, THEY LOVE TO PRETEND TO OFTEN). I had a customer service rep tell me we missed a delivery, when we sat by the window ALL MORNING/AFTERNOON, seeing NOT A SINGLE FEDEX TRUCK COME BY. AFTER mentioning that, THEN they said "oh sorry, our notifications system is down and the eta is actually 3 days from now!" Temporary relief was immediately snatched away the next day, by a goddamn note left on our door, (NO PHONE CALL, NO TEXTS) JUST A NOTE SAYING SORRY, YOU MISSED IT! customer service line is absolutely clueless as to actual etas, i HIGHLY doubt they even have access to speak to dispatch/see a gps map. I ordered three large things from Walmart. The boxes were in terrible shape. The Fed X driver rang the doorbell. He said he didn't want to leave these until I checked them out since the boxes were in such bad shape. I really appreciate the time he took to do this. He could have dropped them off and left but went the extra mile to make sure the items were ok. He offered to take them back if they were damaged but they were ok. Once in a while we order a package that gets delivered by fedex, maybe 1 of 10 get here as its supposed to. More times than not we get a message saying "customer not available or business closed" and then the package never gets delivered. Several times we've had packages arrive that have had contents removed and rifled through. They have a major problem out of the independence center, they seem to have a thief delivering and/or loading packages. If there was a way to completely avoid fedex id take it but not all merchants have a choice they ship with. Ill never use them personally to send or recieve packages. Worst Distribution facility EVER!!! No package ever arrives on time from here! Why has FED EX not looked into the logistics or management of this distribution center and found out why it is so bad! Packages constantly lost, late or damaged. When you track your package, if you see it hits this distribution center, you can guarantee it will be late or lost. I have seen it check into the DC then sit there for days and then travel back halfway across the country before arriving right back to this D just to sit for days again. Things I was supposed to receive have sat in a warehouse days after delivery date. Same with things I have shipped. Calls to the company are also useless. Fed Ex will NOT put packages on my porch where they are protected from the weather by a roof. They are the only delivery service that can't make it all the way to the porch. I regularly get deliveries from USPS, UPS, Door Dash, Kroger & Walmart. All of those deliveries are placed on my porch. Fed Ex leaves it in the driveway where it can be rained on or run over. I had my dogs with me and it's a quiet road. If there had been any delivery truck, I would've seen and heard it and so would the dogs. This is the second time my deliveries have been extremely delayed when directed through this location. Things are usually delivered fine as long as they avoid this location or route. The last time my order got delayed, I was able to reorder and receive my second order before this first delayed order was received. Garbage, EVERY SINGLE PACKAGE THAT GOES THROUGH FEDEX SOMEHOW ENDS UP TAKING A VACATION AT EACH FACILITY.
