The big chain office supply store where I usually go was closed, in fact all of their branches were closed. I did a search and this place popped-up. It was well worth the 3 Mile drive to come here and take care of my business. I also received a little help from an Associate who directed me to their self serve copier and printer, and she gave me some basic instructions. There were a few customers in the store which shows that life goes on, even during a national holiday. Had I not been able to print what I needed, there would have been drama tomorrow morning, as I don't own a printer.

Instead, I got three copies on stuff card stock and it looked great. When I sought a frame I realized that it wasn't a standard size so I went back and asked if it could be done at 103%. The man did it and when I pulled out my wallet he said "Merry Christmas" and didn't charge. Pretty nice, I thought. They did not charge me for my own mistake even though I was willing to pay another ten bucks. By the way, they have lots and lots of copying and graphic-producing equipment. If you have a big job check them out.

Late morning before lunch time I have found to be the best time to stop by since alot of workers in the area seem to swing by during their work lunch break. The staff keep the line moving quickly regardless. This UPS location is in the shopping center right beside Montgomery Mall. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare to be honest. The parking spaces are limited and as cars attempt to enter and leave it really makes for a bit of a struggle to park. Despite the not ideal parking situation I still choose to come here often because the staff really are great here and I have never had any issues when using various services from shipping my packages and dropping off Amazon returns to even getting my passport photos done... consistent quality service every time :)

He said he'd give me a call to let me know if the driver couldn't take the package with the label I provided. He even said he could pack everything up for me and make sure proper documents were inside the package as well as visible on the outside. Kevin followed up with me later in the day to confirm that the package got sent out without issue. I just feel like this customer service was above and beyond and I'm very appreciative. There isn't self-faxing & printing, yet you can email your documents for them to print out for you. For shipping, bring your own packing tape or you'll be charged a user fee...better than having to buy tape as you do at USPS. You can drop off packages for UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS & Amazon - for the latter, they do not have the Return Code Scanner. There's a mini workstation, pay as you use. My tasks of printing, faxing, shipping & a couple of treats came under $12. The neighborhood's friendly one-stop shop for all your mailing & then some needs.

The folks at Pronto told me they couldn't help, and that I would need to call FedEx directly. If I had wanted to deal with FedEx I would have gone to a FedEx Kinko in the first place and not paid Pronto's mark up! I'm all for supporting small local businesses (and paying a bit more than if I were to go to a large multinational), but they need to make it worth my while by offering better and more personalized customer service. Disappointing.

The woman I worked with was cold and seemed painfully annoyed as I needed to print several items for an international visa. I was the only customer in the shop yet felt like I was the least important priority. She went even as far as to say "the guys in the back printing are getting very frustrated with the sizing of your item and are going to need to charge you more." It was a simple photo that could have easily been cut down to work properly. Instead, I sheepishly agreed to her idea of adding a white border on either left and right side of the photo, which would clearly make it look off, against my better judgment because I just wanted to get the hell out of there! It was a total waste of hours of my time and money, went all the way to the Embassy in DC and was told the photo's borders would make it against standard so my visa would need to be redone. Will not return.

Staff is always kind and helpful. I also take my secure shredding to them, it's so much easier than my shredder which seems to jam and spread paper shreds into the air all the time. It's great that they have boxes, bubble wrap, extra cardboard etc all in one place, plus a choice of shippers, for when I'm sending out packages of things I sold on eBay or PoshMark. They even understand the choices involved in shipping outside the U.S., custom forms and so on. So useful and efficient in an increasingly complex world. What an invaluable set of services Postal Express offers to my small business and my family.
