I contacted Minuteman Press in Bethesda to print my wedding invitation envelopes. Over the course of a week I called and emailed to get a price for my order. I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back or email me with pricing. I didn't receive the call or email so I went to their location to ask in person and hopefully get the job started. When I went to the location, they confirmed that they could do the job and would email me the price and proof by the next day. When they emailed me the quote, but no proof, it was higher than the price I was given at drop off because the rep I spoke to in person did not relay my requests to the person who prepared my quote. Ultimately, it took from Wednesday to Friday for them to finally print my job, during which they damaged my envelopes and told me they couldn't complete the work. They handed me 4 completed envelopes out of 55, and 4 damaged envelopes. They paid me for the damaged envelopes after I asked for remedy. They had no suggestions for who else could actually complete my job. I left, in tears, and was able to find a FedEx Kinkos 5 min away that completed my job in 35 minutes. I love supporting local businesses and independent owners, but save yourself the time and headache. read more

The best measure of an outstanding business is when there are challenges. Any business can do the easy thing. Minuteman Press Bethesda is just great. We created a holiday letter with a variety of inserted photographs and fonts, and saved a .docx file as a .pdf. When it was printed however, it differed from the WYSIWYG and what we created and wanted. Sandy and the team were a joy to work with in solving the problem!! There was something wrong with the file or the software, and the folks at Minuteman Press Bethesda did what was necessary to correct the file and fix the problem.They stand by their work in order to make sure you are satisfied. I checked reviews for this printer before submitting an order, but I have been sorely disappointed with the service. After getting a pro forma confirmation of receipt of my order. After I heard nothing for 3 days, I called to check on the order. The staff person said that the owner/designer was not at work and did not know when she would be back on the job. So I am taking my order to another shop. read more
