Billed twice and they refuse to answer phone. I was billed twice for canceling a shipment order. Both emailed and called customer service. Customer service will not answer the phone - the AI will not let you speak to a live person. I emailed multiple times showing I had already paid the amount but no response from Matilda Reis with their customer service team. So I went ahead and paid the $9.75 bill AGAIN. I bet FedEx does this all the time to customers who will just go ahead and pay again to avoid the hassle of fighting it further / avoiding FedEx getting a debt collector involved. How is this shop still in business? Indifferent employees that move with all the urgency of molasses. Slow slow slow. Every single trip to this location or the one further south on Wisconsin Avenue is a frustration: I can understand that the job is terrible, but the workers act like they are laboring in quicksand and have zero empathy for your time. Mindlessly, they collect your address, your pet's name, your phone number to enrich the FedEx marketing reach, but cannot spell or hear and have to repeat everything three times to get it right. Tu aided my first visit here seamlessly & with a friendly smile. It was good to see/hear being greeted upon entrance still exists. Full service everything FE/K offers from packaging, shipping, signs, banners, business cards, stationery & snacks in a spacious, well maintained store. One can now print directly from their mobile device. Parking is available on the street or in the many garages nearby, that are free on the weekends. I stopped by around 4:15 pm on January 8, 2023. I explained to the staff member that I needed two pages printed from my email. The staff member told me to forward my email to the store email. I went to the printer to input the code and the machine wasn't working properly. I then asked the staff member to assist me and he said he would print it behind the counter. It took him over 4 minutes of trying to format the pages, etc. I then said can you find a manager. He said the manager was off today. I said well I've been waiting for over 20 minutes for 2 pages. The staff said " AND ". At this time I was about to get upset so I asked for someone else to assist me. The other staff was able to retrieve my documents and print them. I was charged $0.39 and it took approximately 35 minutes for 2 pages. I demand that a manager or franchise owner to contact me asap about the lack of respect I was given. After working with a specific print shop in the neighborhood that ruined my print job and left me with an unfinished product, I looked up FedEx Office on a humble. Already nervous about customer service and the overall quality of work from a large chain, I was skeptical about my outcome before I even walked in. To my surprise, Tu and the team at this location are skilled, courteous, and resourceful! They completed in 35 minutes what it took the other shop 3 days to ruin. Tu is the associate to see if you need a printing job completed with skill and accuracy. And the PRICE!!! Let me tell you: my job was completed for 35% less than the price I was quoted by the other shop! I walked out a very happy camper. Trust this place! I couldn't get a human being on the phone. I was sent on a runaround with comouter voice after computer voice. So - I won't go there.

My unadulterated thoughts on Fed Ex Office: 1. There needs to be some sort of self checkout. More times than I count, I'm waiting in line to pay for something real quick like a lamination, and the only available cashier is helping someone put together some elaborate project that involves resizing images, collating, choosing correct paper weight, etc. They are usually somewhat understaffed at this location... so a self checkout would be really clutch. 2. I'm fairly certain their using dial up internet. Whenever I go into there, I always pull out my mobile hot spot. I'm never able to use their wifi signal because it's so slow. 3. Self service stations are easy to use. Make sure you have the files in the right format for printing. (PDF & DOC). No excel spreadsheets. 4. There is a bathroom in the way back, down some stairs, in the left corner. Convenient if you're there working for some time. 5. If you really need goofy calendars for your office mates. Fed Ex Office has got ya covered. 6. I feel like I'm being price gauged every time I laminate something there. That being said, always remember to use the thin cardboard pocket to laminate your items. If you don't, it will come out all jacked up. Also, the laminations are thicker than the ones I use at home (which I buy cheap off Amazon). 7. Bring a computer. The computer they have there, which you can rent time on #LeSigh, is super slow (not solely because of the internet). But you'll spend more time than necessary on it, and it's a pricey. 8. Customer sales associates are generally very nice and will do what they can to help. The service, when you can get it is great which definitely brings me back to Fed Ex Office more often than not. One time I went to a staples to print a bunch of things out, the customer service rep made me feel bad about requesting her help, and basically gave me a guilt trip about creating more work for her. Management please take note: this is the worst service ever! I would not come back here again. We were attending a conference up the street and needed a reprint of our posters. Too a look at Yelp to find the closest location for a printer and chose FedEx Office. We submitted our job via email as requested of us and requested service to be completed later that day. When we did not hear from them I called at 10pm and they told us it was not due until tomorrow. I told them I needed it now. They asked for an hour and then we came in. At check out I asked to use the $30 coupon. I was told that it was for the next purchase. As I debated his point and the logic in the coupon he would not apply it. It was after 11pm and I did not want to fight. I paid and walked away What did I learn today? FedEx Office, you owe me $30 on my order for $238 in printing. I was in the area after having brunch at a colleague's home and needed to print a colored document, double-sided. This was the closest location that could handle that task so off I went. Parking is terrible. I repeat: TERRIBLE. I tried to use the self-service but I never received the e-mail with the access code. Well I did eventually but not until 20 minutes AFTER I left the location. Fail. I waited in line about 10 minutes for the only person working to be finished with the person in front of me who had a million questions about shipping something. Surprise: he left without shipping the item. The employee working was helpful and printed the document for me, although she printed it wrong the first time so she had to print it again correctly. When I needed to pay, she directed me to another employee, who just appeared, that would ring me out. Of course I get behind the guy who is buying a bunch of candy and soda but doing NOTHING that is typically done at FedEx. Isn't there a CVS nearby?! Anyways, I was finally able to pay my $1.57 for the printing services. I doubt I will need to return to this location again, and for that, I am thankful. read more

It's open 24/7 which is nice. The staff here is friendly... they're pretty understand of your needs. Once I really needed to make a delivery on a Saturday and called the store to see if there was any way they could just wait for ~5-10 minutes. I was expecting some sass, but the lady on the phone was really nice about it and explained that while she could not do such a thing, the driver was probably stuck in traffic and explained that I had about 10 minutes of wiggle room. The thing I DO NOT like about this is the time spent... they usually have only one or two people working all of the stations and so the WAIT IS TERRIBLE. In addition, fedex is just expensive. If you have to ship something far away (to a place such as Hungary), it costs more than $100 to ship a small magazine... compare that to the $11 I spent at the US Postal Office next door. Meh. But for quick printing needs, etc... come here, especially late at night when all other places are closed. read more

I'm not one to normally write a scathing review but if I could give this place 0 or negative stars I would. A little less than a week ago I came to ship 2 fairly large items across the country to a buyer in California. I only had one of the items at the time since I was shopping around trying to get the best prices from different shippers like UPS. The staff weighed my one item, measured its dimensions, and I told them that I wanted to send another one just like it, via ground shipping, in a single package, with a few extra items. They told me that this was possible and quoted me a price of $130, which sounded great to me - I simply had to drop off both items within the next several days. $130 was the price I had quoted the buyer of my items and that was what he was prepared to pay. Actually he told me that he was prepared to pay a little more. I later came back to drop off both items and the same staff that had quoted me the $130 told me to just leave the items and that they would pack and ship the items, and send me a receipt later. I accepted this under the assumption that the quoted price was still more or less at $130. Sure enough, later that day, I received a receipt via email for $390! Are you kidding me!? I had expected to maybe pay at least a little more but $390 was completely unreasonable given the price that I was given! I did ship a few more items but the $130 quoted price took that into consideration. Of course I contacted the buyer and he was furious with me since, of course, he paid for shipping. If there was going to be such a price difference I should have been notified!! The buyer told me out right that if he knew shipping would be so high he would have never purchased the items I had sold him. Since I want to maintain my integrity as a seller and wanted to have good will with the buyer, I offered to pay for a substantial amount of that price difference. When I called FedEx later, they had told me that they ended up shipping my items separately, after I had told them to ship them together as the items were not very fragile. They had told me that they could return the items and I asked if I would have to pay for the shipping back to this location as the package was still in transit - the staff member told me that he didn't know if I had to pay for shipping back. Now again, I had expected to pay more but the difference between the price I was quoted and the actual price of shipping was just too high and I should have been notified of this while I was at the location (not via an emailed receipt). I also have many more things to sell and ship, but I certainly will never come back here and I will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Very happy with their service and ability to do what I needed. I needed a large run of a poster printed. They did a proof on their machine and it was great--good color, constant print and quality paper. I asked for a quote on the full run, and was pleased. I went home to make changes to the file. When I retuned later, there were different people and it was a song and dance to get the price I was originally quoted. They have different prices depending on how soon you need it--they print larger, but less expensive per piece jobs at other facilities. But that led to a lot of confusion. It took several phone calls to get the first price, and then when I came to pick them up the price had again gone up. It got fixed, and with a smile--everyone was working to get things resolved. But for some reason things were very spongy in terms of price. Had the 2nd guy waited on me to begin with I would have ordered the posters on-line. read more

The particular staff member assisting me was rude, snooty, snappy, and all-around crappy. The printing services were also very expensive, and they didn't even turn out looking all that nice. I can't say enough about the great people who work at this store. I frequently must print posters and reports for presentations, and unfortunately I frequently make mistakes. Without exception, over the past year, the employees have helped me fix the problem without charge. They are unfailingly kind, humorous and polite under really stressful circumstances. I see them being treated rudely and impatiently by other customers and it really frustrates me. Terrible service. My mother-in-law went in to scan some documents because our scanner wasn't working. She explained her limited computer skills and asked for help. The guy was not helpful at all and just kind of left her on her own to figure it out, AND charged her by the minute! She gave up as the clock kept ticking and paid $6 for accomplishing nothing. She went down the street to Staples and the guy behind the counter scanned and emailed the documents for her, and charged her $5. Go there instead. read more

We visited last Sunday, March 11, 2018 -- and we received wonderful service. The man who helped us (I'm sorry that I don't know his name) should receive a raise. We needed to use a scanner because ours wasn't working ... and initially we thought we would try the self-serve scanner. It wasn't working, so the man at the front did the scanning in-between helping at least two other groups of people. He didn't take long with any of us, and was so professional and kind. Before Staples left the area, I had been in there and received little help and it was SLOW -- here, two employees were there to make sure we were taken care of during an oddly busy Sunday night (apparently this is common). Our service was spectacular. -- can I just say that other poor reviews could have been written by people who have never held a service-related job in their lives. I want to praise Cesar for his outstanding service! I came in to get a huge job done for my client that also was a logistical nightmare shipping wise! Cesar was very composed even though I was visibly very stressed out and he took charge of the situation. He finished my complicated order and got it delivered cross country the next morning! This place is terrible. Every time I have gone in they only have one person working, trying to help multiple customers at the same time. While I felt bad for the employee, it was very unprofessional how they treated me. They have very poor customer service and actually told me they couldn't help me when it came to making a couple of color copies because they were too busy and didn't have time to reload the copier.
