Possibly the worst experience I've had at any business ever. They would not release my package to me because my name wasn't on the shipping address, even though I had proof of purchase, receipts, my name on the billing address, bank statements, and I owned the fedex account that shipped the package. The management here is terrible! Travis, an older gentleman, kept repeating that I could not prove that the package belonged to me, but he would not even look at my proof! Extremely rude and dismissive. Would not help me out at all and basically said tough luck. Here's where it gets worse: After being on the phone with FedEx customer support, I had two shipping representatives call into the store to authorize me for pickup. I also had the original recipient on the shipping address call in and verify for me. Travis still refused to give me my package. It seemed he was holding it back out of prejudice or bias because he obviously knew I owned that package. Absolutely pathetic excuse for a manager, what a joke. I called the store back the next day to get an update and a rude lady interrupted me while I was explaining my situation just to say the package had left the store and she didn't know where it went. Her name was Bonnie, I've seen others complain about her here and I can confirm she is as rude as they say she is. Please do not trust this store with anything of value, they are absolutely nuts and probably have the worst manager in all of Georgia. read more

The personnel at this location have been very personable snd helpful. They have handled our packages promptly. Location: The business is conveniently located on a main thoroughfare in a small strip mall. At rush hours there is heavy traffic on the road in front of the building, so left turns ate a little harder. The parking is adequate although you have to watch to make sure you are not in a reserved area if you park right in front of the building. read more

That personalized greeting is followed by detailed and skillful professional attention to the complex projects I bring in. Both Kaitlyn and Brad worked hard on this one. This project required scaling in a very specific way so as to produce a full-size construction template. In addition, Brad gave me some very specific ideas on how to complete yet another aspect of this project, a full-size paint mask, something that he will be able to do in store thereby saving me time and money. Bonnie was absolutely wonderful to our family! She literally saved the day for our little girls that had they're hearts set on playing tea party bingo. What seems minimal was a huge deal for them & my printer wasn't printing my card stock. I emailed her, she quickly downloaded the files & printed/cut for us. Have always had great experiences here in my 10 years in Athens. But today I called to ask about some expensive large-format printing, and a lady named Bonnie didn't seem to have time to discuss it, was extremely "short", and gave me an attitude saying things like "I told you this twice already...", etc. Very frustrating. Will take my business elsewhere. Update: 8/15/17 - Tried this place again this morning. I made 3 B&W copies. My card was charged $35.89. I stopped back by the store to ask about the charges. The manager, "Bonnie", was unhelpful, unapologetic, and blamed me for trying to pay with my smartphone, saying that paying by phone was "not supported" and therefore, I shouldn't try it unless there's a big sign saying it's supported. Worst customer service ever. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. read more

This place is really run-down from what I remember. The store front is old and not well maintained. When you go in and approach the counter it is impossible to get anyone's attention. I couldn't find any of the usual mailers for a document I needed to send so I just assumed you can't do that there anymore and left. There were some people in the parking lot talking to each other loudly gossiping and in the way of me being able to comfortably back out without worrying about hitting one of them and the would not move. I did not have the best experience getting my sons passport pictures taken care of here. The camera did not seem to be working correctly and my son's face ended up looking like he was sunburned. And now He unfortunately will have to live with this passport picture for the next 10 years. read more

Discussed a large format cardstock project on the phone and was told there weren't samples to take away, but plenty to look at at the store and the project would have to be sent to Atlanta. No problem to me, so I got the files tweaked, laid out and transferred to an external drive, only to get there, wait a bit and then be told there was no such thing as cardstock any more and certainly not in a large format--- huh--- read more

I was in Athens for my daughter's graduation from UGA and wanted a banner printed for her party. I got the information and placed the order the day before and they had it ready the next morning. I talked to several people (I called back with questions about the artwork and changed my mind on grommets vs sticky back) and they were all patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. As the stars indicate, I've definitely experienced better at other FedEx/Kinko's. I saw similar comments on another review site, and from my two experiences with this branch, the comments are true! Staff just sort of wait around while you stand there, all by yourself, waiting for customer service at the counter. I mean, it's 8am in the morning, and no one is at the counter but me, and they are ignoring me, while I stood around for 10 minutes? It looked like a manager was sitting in the back office, and they had at least 4 other staff milling about. Why not assign 1 of them to man the front desk whenever someone walks up? Anyway, I paid my $17 for burning a 6-page scanned document to a PDF CD (outrageous) and will try not to go back. Brenda was the associate working tonight and probably one of the slowest employees I've ever experienced at a FedEx office. She doesn't seem to know how to work technology very well which is one of the first problems. It probably took her about 20 minutes to ring up the person in front of us. Unfortunately she was the only person working so she was very frazzled trying to print orders, answer the phone, and tell me multiple times she would be with me in a minute. The NE Ga route was sold and is now a franchise. The owners name is Matt. The problem we here in NE Ga are experiencing is that the office in Athens Ga is NOT delivering to certain addresses. They are saying, with no reason/proof, that they returned an item back to the vendor based on the vendor requested return of the item. But the vendor DID NOT request return of the item this was determined when Amazon contacted the vendor (Petfood Station in Hagerstown, Md) in an effort to determine what happened. It appears that the supervisor in Athens is stopping items from being delivered to me based on a delivery person's untrue story. A delivery from Market Fresh was in the Athens office on Thursday with delivery to take place on Friday, however the Athens office kept the delivery over the weekend and delivered it on Monday...After the order had defrosted. So when the Athens office states they won't deliver to this address that is untrue (otherwise known as a "lie"). The Athens office is a problem. read more
