Khalid was helpful in some ways but he didn't make much effort to protect my framed art and the glass broke. I showed him very clearly what the risk was and he just stacked the picture in a box with some padding. He didn't wrap it with bubble wrap. He left the glass free to slide around and predictably it broke. I showed him the glass was not secure in the frame and needed extra attention. read more

There was only one attendant working and I had to wait 10 mins for him to finish helping 1 person. I couldn't use the self-service kiosk because it would say "See attendant for assistance" when I would scan my QR code, as my QR code was for a boxless return (as shown in the photos). Once he finally finished helping that 1 person after 10 mins, he scans my QR code just to tell me I need to purchase a box or poly bag in order to ship out my package. I don't know if it's a system or employee issue, but I'm not sure what the point of the boxless selection is. They also need to hire more people. read more

Rob and Perla both did an amazing job. I went in with a birthday card made with the canva app. It wasn't printing correctly. But together they figured out how to get the print working. They really showed great customer service as well as technical skills. That's kind of rare these days. I was very impressed. The manager here is indifferent and dismissive. God forbid you have a problem with a package shipped from there. Fedex will tell you to go to the place you shipped it, to get faster/better service, and this manager will say "No can do. You need to call THEM." He wouldn't eve look up the transaction. I've been here a couple of times, and the service has always been fine, but today, wow, it was EXCEPTIONAL (insert sarcastic tone). I already had the package labeled & ready to go; the clerk only needed to scan it. His demeanor screamed, "I don't wanna be here." He took the package and scanned it in. That was it, no offer of the receipt, so I asked him for a copy since this package was for a client. His response was, I GUESS I CAN GET YOU THAT! He proceeded to ask if I wanted a million dollars too. He also asked if I wanted his Fed Ex shirt too. Maybe he was trying to be funny, but it simply came off as I inconvenienced him. I chuckled and said, "I will take the million dollars if you wanna give it away." I suppose I made a mistake and asked him to push a button and rip off a receipt from the printer. My forever need to use a copier/printer landed me here this morning. Due to a power outage and unknown day/time for it to be restored, no printer at home. I've come to expect FedEx to help me out. My credit card magnetic strip issues prevented me to use self-service. There was only one staff at 10:00am and a short line of customers. One woman, who must be very important in her own mind, was very impatient about waiting. After ranting and raving, she left in a huff. Good, because I'm next. Visited Friday, August 11. I have never given a review, but my experience at this store warrants one. I just needed to print a few pages from one of the computers. When I asked a man working how to login to my email using FedEx's software, I was told "Are you in college?! You should already know how to do this by now." Instead of just helping, he stood over me telling me how stupid I was. When I figured it out, he sulked "finally", and left. I was the only customer in the store, so it wasn't like I was taking away time from other customers. I'm not really sure why this was such a major inconvenience for him. I didn't expect FedEx to be very busy on a Saturday but I was surprised to find the place abuzz when I pulled up to the scene to drop off a quick (prepaid!) package that I was sending to Apple Care. Maybe the friendly gal behind the counter saw my face fall when I went to stand in line behind the rest of those in the store because she spotted the small brown box in my hand and asked, "Just dropping off?" I nodded and noted that I needed a tracking number and pressed my heels firmly into the ground, assuming that I needed to wait in line in order to obtain said tracking information. But the lady was so courteous that she motioned me to step forward--even as she was carefully assisting someone else!--and grabbed the box from my hands. Just as swiftly, she had printed out a receipt and I was on my way. At this location, I think the "Ex" may stand for "expedient"! read more

This store is horrible for print orders. I tried to get postcards printed and the first time, the order was printed with one side upside down. The replacement order was trimmed so badly they cut off over 1/2 of the side of the card, and cut off words and images. The sizing was completely uneven - some cards were much larger than others. Some had jagged edges. And to top it off, when I went to pick up the replacement cards, the person behind the counter was super rude and seemed to have zero interest in helping me despite the fact that they were the ones who f'd up my order and made me have to go back twice to get them to reprint it. I am complaining about Danielle, She came to the register with a very smarmy attitude. Quite rude and after she asked me bluntly and with some hostility in her voice "what's in the box?", I took it and went to the ups store around the corner. There was only personal items, but I think the proper question is if there is anything flammable, etc. It is frankly, non of her business what I'm sending, only of it is explosive or not. It was meant to be rude,that much was obvious by the way she had presented herself. A part of my package was stolen. I brought in a set of individually wrapped books and a glass art piece in bubble wrap to be shipped to New York. The employee took the items and said they would package them in a larger box. The art piece never made it to the destination. My friend was wondering why such a big box was used for 3 books. I came to drop off a package Wednesday, 7/28/21 at 7:30pm (today). Upon entering the store, an older female employee wearing glasses started giving me instructions to drop off my package to my left in the drop-off bin. I went to mail some documents, next day I get a call saying the address was invalid and the business has moved and that I needed to go back to the fedex location to pick up the envelope. I called right away to make sure the address was correct and yes indeed the address was valid and the business has been there for a long time. I returned to the fedex location and spoke to the manager. He couldn't help me to resend the documents unless I would pay again. No help whatsoever. Poor customer service. Today I get a message that the envelope is stuck in San Leandro and that it needs a "commercial invoice". No mention previously and it will not get there as promised. A few years ago this used to be a well-run shop with helpful staff, but that's no longer the case. They've hired surly and discontent staff who have no interest in customer service. Machines are often broken making the self-service experience exasperating. If you're lucky the staff might holler something unhelpful to you from behind the counter. What has happened to this store? I've had great service in the past. For years this store was my go to place for all my printing and coping needs. My business is less than a mile away so it's been perfect in the past. Haven't been in for a while. I've been back in several times in the last 30 days and every time I have left aggravated from the experience. Today was the final straw. I used to be able to email my files and orders in and everything would get done. Last time I did it I got a reply that they don't take email orders and that I needed to bring my files in. Ok so they changed the rules. No problem. Today I came in with my flash drive and brought copies of all the documents so they could see what I wanted. When I handed her my flash drive she appeared to be thrown and want to know how many files were there and were they ready for printing. I assured her they were ready and started counting the documents I brought in. As I was counting she informed me on serveral of them they don't do that and that I needed to go to a different store. Confused because these are the same files I've gotten done there in the past. When I mentioned that they used to send the files to another store. She said she already sent them files and didn't think she could send more. At some point she told me to stop talking so she could talk. I took my flash drive back and headed out. On my way out she said "have a blessed day". Are you kidding me all I wanted was service! Never will go back. I won't let this store stop me from doing business with FedEx because I love their service. I will find another location that values their customers. read more

Davina provided the rudest, most incompetent and most put-upon service I have ever received at a shipping center -- or any other business in the service industry. I brought in two simple returns with emailed QR code's along with my own box, but she tried to sell me two brand new boxes and lost track of the two mailing labels she printed herself, punctuating each action with an audible sigh.
