A review for package delivery. So I had a beautiful art piece fedex'ed from Colorado, however, the package required a signature upon delivery. This was not the best option for me since I work late hours and my apartment leasing office closes around 5p. After missing the 1st attempt at delivery, I opted for the package to be held at this location for pickup. The customer service at this location was so professional and courteous from start to finish. First, they called me twice that day to notify me that my package was ready for pick up after it arrived to their facility. After arriving to this location later on in the evening, I had to wait 5 mins or so for someone to assist me or even acknowledge me. Im not deducting points for that because the other service peole were assisting other customers. Someone was eventually called from the back who assisted me, and he brought out my package. After checking my ID, and signing for my package, he graciously carried my fairly large package to my car. The process was overall seamless and efficient. The store is also clean and organized. Parking is free and easy for a small shopping center. Overall, highly recommend. read more

Great experience! The copy/scan/print machines are reliable and easy to use. I am also impressed with the capability of the machines here. Scans can be saved as PDFs, JPEGs, PNGs, Microsoft Word documents, and more. Scans can also be uploaded to OneDrive. The stationary and office supplies they offer here are useful, unconventional, and "first-day-of-school" worthy. :) See "Central Perks" note pad attached. They also carry high-quality professional-looking products and kid-friendly accessories. The staff were friendly and worked efficiently. I wanted some of the documents I scanned shredded and the staff made sure to ask if I wanted to watch while they discarded those papers. I had a couple items to ship and the staff member I worked with helped minimize the overall cost with smaller boxes. Note, in many cases, you will be required to pay for filling ($9.99) if you ship with FedEx. My only complaint about this location is the complex it is in; lots of loitering. :/ read more

I came to FedEx Office because I had a pre-filled return slip for some jeans that ended up being a ridiculous fit. As I walked into this establishment, not one employee said "welcome" or acknowledged my presence. It wasn't until the woman nearest the front was done helping a customer in front of me that I got a "how may I help you," about 10 minutes later. I handed her the jeans with the return slip, and was told I needed to pick out my own bag in some other area (mind you, I had just left the UPS store, who takes care of ALL OF THIS for you). So I pick my bag, bring it to her, and proceed to watch her struggle getting the jeans into the bag for about 55 seconds. I ask her if I can try, and manage to slide the jeans into the bag in about 5 seconds. I was given a receipt and I was on my way. Parking is horrible in this lot as well, as there are an abundance of stores with too much traffic. I'd recommended parking on the side street if you're going to be quick. This place is low key!! Plenty of parking! If you go at night? Trend with caution, though the buildings look new? It STILL can be a little sketchy. Thats anywhere though. lol I didn't even know there was a Fedex on 355? Its not that big though and the guys that work there are not super friendly. lol BUT! You come there for one purpose and one purpose only. Get your stuff and go. They actually have stationary (which is always overpriced) Go to Staples/office depot before you buy anything from them. Unless you really just don't have the time to go. They have the full service at this location too! So if you need something fax/printed/shipped out etc, this is your place to go. Fantastic customer service. I came in one afternoon this week and had badly messed up my packaging and lost my prepaid postage order. I wish I could give this company 0 stars, especially this location. I've ran into countless problems with you guys. I'm at the point of getting upset everytime I order something online and being told that FedEx is going to deliver it. Wanna know why? Because IT NEVER ENDS UP BEING DELIVERED. Whoever is serving the Gaithersburg area needs to be fired because they are extremely lazy and careless about their job. Let me start with the fact that I've had multiple instances where the delivery person was TOO LAZY to bring my packages to my door, so THEY LEFT THEM DOWNSTAIRS ON THE FLOOR. Where anyone could take them. There was one weekend that my packages said "delivered" and I thought to myself, "maybe it was a system error." But nope. My packages were RAINED ON and WET for TWO DAYS. The company I ordered from had to send me two new orders because of that. Your insolence is causing companies money and that's going to catch up with you. Whoever is doing these deliveries is a liability to your company; and you need to get to the bottom of this. The crappy delivery guy decided to leave a note on my door instead of leaving my package at the door, like he should've and because I tested positive for COVID, I wasn't able to get the package. So, I called them asking for a re-delivery, and the person I spoke to was nice enough to arrange it for the following morning. Guess what? They never re-delivered it. Not to put my business out there, but the package was medication, that I NEEDED. So they ended up sending my meds back to the shipper, and here I am, talking to the shipper getting a new one sent. So more delays on that. Thanks a lot FedEx. There's no sense of urgency with these people. I'm sure I'm not alone with the complaints. We're busy people, so not everyone has time to write a thorough review, but after seeing that a re-delivery wasn't even attempted, I'm done. How are you guys going to conduct business for the holidays? So anyways, my point is, why be a delivery driver or even be in a business where your literal job is to make sure people get their items, if you can't even do that? Yeah, my building has a lot of stairs, but so what? That's your JOB. UPS, Amazon and USPS are killin' the game, maaaan, even DHL is better than y'all. I went to this Fed Ex to send back products purchased through Walmart, as it was less of drive for me. Parking was not plentiful, and I had to circle the building to fine a place that would allow me to exit my car easily. I saw no Handicap places at all. Inside, I only had to wait a minute for someone to help me. The service in that respect was fine. However, I had to visit the rest room prior to leaving, and it was disgusting. I had to wipe blood and urine off the commode before placing the protective paper on the seat. Even the walls were dirty. I wouldn't have used it at all, but when you "have to go".... I will drive to Walmart in the future rather than go back to that Fed Ex store. read more

Heads up friends! I've actually found a fedex location where people do not leave frustrated with none of their printing or shipping needs met! It was just such a surreal and wonderful experience, I still can't believe it happened. Ask for John, he was excellent! It may have been the first time I've ever left a fedex without being disappointed. I wanted to print out some pictures from my iPhone and download something off a USB drive and he was actually able to help me do it! He printed some pictures for me, I printed some off the computer myself, it all looks wonderful! And he was nice and pleasant to work with! What a find. The printing service is really nice when you need a professional picture/board made for work. The employees did make me feel a bit incompetent when I couldn't figure out how to work their software. The price to use their software was also a bit high and added up fast! I got 2 32x24 boards made which was estimasted to take 2-3 hours. After 2 hours, I never received a call that they were ready so I had to call. Come to find out that was a ridiculous estimate. With everything going on I accidentally made a typo and they were able to fix it for me and re-printing only took 15 minutes. All in all, I would return if I needed something printed. They also have super cute notebooks and stationary. read more

Sign says 24 hours. It's not. Hours on the door says 5pm on saturday. It's later. Accurate hours would be really helpful!!! We used and abused this store and staff for a conference we were holding down the road. They printed our emailed in items - all weird sizes - and they even cut them to size. I was able to self copy - in color - some other items with ease - love the stick your credit card in and go - but didn't like that doing a self copy of 100 was more than if i had handed it over to them... Hrmph. Also used them to ship a bunch of different things after it was over. Staff was helpful and friendly, taping the corners of our boxes etc. Large store with lots of packing items, boxes etc. And a great card selection - who knew! read more

We ordered an item, arrived at destination broken in 2 sections...upon investigation, seller dis not know about the issue until I send pictures of the mayor damage. Carrier ( Fedex) dropped it causing an extensive damage...no one to claim...We will no longer use this source of carrier...( delivery driver: USE YOUR HEAD and think before how you are going to drop package, use what is call a dolly...maybe that will help your back, instead of damage an item. read more

I am thoroughly impressed by the employees at this Fedex Kinko's. The fiancee and I headed to Fedex to get our programs pages and some stickers printed for the wedding. They were some of the friendliest people I've encountered at any store in years. Though we were stressed, they happily helped us print and cut our programs. We found out the main guy that was helping us had already clocked out. But he stayed the extra 30 minutes or so to finish our job. He wasn't even rushed. I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon around 3 pm; I was working in Gaithersburg around the Washingtonian area and this was the most convenient location. I needed to overnight a package for work and was asked to use FedEx First Overnight; the location's website lists the latest drop-off time for express shipping as 8 pm, which is later than the 7:30 time I saw at a lot of other locations. Most of the staff were at the printing area of the store when I arrived; there was 1 customer ahead of me and another customer arrived after me before 1 of the staff made it over to help at the packing station. The store didn't look like it had a lot of customers, but Josh explained that they were "very busy" that day; maybe there were a lot of printing orders going on or something. I hadn't addressed my envelope; I just filled out a sender/recipient information form with the addresses and Bala provided a FedEx envelope to go over my original one for extra protection before typing in my address information and printing out a label. I was able to review the information before it was printed. I was offered a number of timeslots for next-day delivery, beginning with 8 AM. When I asked for the FedEx First Overnight service, which would deliver by 8 AM, Bala advised me that 8 AM delivery would cost $74 for my 0.5 lb package, while 10 AM delivery would be about half; since my company was paying and wanted 8 AM delivery, it didn't matter to me, but it was still nice of him to try to help me save money. He was also friendly and engaging while we were waiting for the transaction to process. My tracking # was on my receipt, and I also got an email notification when my package was delivered the next day (delivery time was listed as 7:35 AM). My visit took me longer than I'd expected, given it was a weekday afternoon; I imagine it would get even busier in the evenings when people are off work, so I'd recommend shooting for off-peak hours. I would not recommend this place. Printed my last years taxes, only the fields were printed. I asked for help and the option was to email my tax return to them and they would print. I didn't fee comfortable as most would. I asked if I can log into their computer and open it and they wouldn't go for that. Not very understanding. Basically spent $30 some for empty pages. A couple of years ago I lost my cat. I was devasted and decided to print flyers at Kinkos on South Frederick Road. I made my copies and went to the cashier to buy tape. The cashier saw my flyers and asked if my cat was lost. He then gave me his expensive packing tape and professional tape dispenser. I was touched. I tried to speak to his manager to compliment them but their website doesn't have a contact option and it's difficult to navigate or get any info. Then a year ago my other cat ran away. I went back to kinkos to make a large poster of my cat. I was broke and told the guy to do the minimum he could. Not only did he print the largest size posters but he made several extras at no charge. read more

On November 29th FedEx Ground was supposed to pick up a very heavy package at my residence, they never showed. I saw a budget rental truck turn around in my driveway but he didn't drive up the drive to the house, a distance of about 100 feet. I called Fedex 800 number and they told me it is still on the schedule and they will be there before 8pm. At 8pm they still had not returned so I called 800 number again and they said he came but there was no package even though I waited all day for them to pick up the package. Evidently the driver wanted me to leave the package on the street in front of my house so I got a customer advocate person from FedEx and she was very apologetic and promised they would be there Saturday, the didn't show up Saturday and now it is Tuesday and they didn't show up on Monday. This is a prepaid return item so I have just turned the problem over to the company that it is going to be returned to, I will see if they can convince local lazy FedEx ground contractor to do their job. I will not use FedEx anymore. They used to be the best but now they are acting very incompetent. I hope UPS is better but I at one time they were way behind FedEx in customer service.
