Worst place to get your passport photo done. I had to get my elderly mom pic done who is 86 years old and has a walker. 1. The lady who took the photo did not take it properly . She only took one shot. She is supposed to take multiple shots and get them reviewed by us. 2. She did not review it with us before printing. She rushed to the back and took my usb with her. I asked her can I see and she said wait let me print . She was supposed to get it APPROVED WHETHER it is ok to be printed . The PIC IS SO DARK. 3. She took amazingly long to Navigate on her computer to put the pic in my usb. Eventually we had to again to Walmart and they took multiple CLEAR and wonderful passport photos for half the price. Just for your info. This same experience has happened with me 3 years back . I can even share the pics they took if someone wants to check if this review is genuine . I was at the store to mail some documents that needed to be signed and returned to me. Despite the fact that the store was quite busy, the staff efficiently helped me generate two mailer labels, one for an inner return mailer and one for the initial outer envelope. In my haste the two labels got reversed. I was aware of the error when I got a UPS alert that a package was arriving for me the next day. After reaching out to the UPS store they proactively recalled the packet of documents and swapped the labels. Due to their swift actions my documents were delivered on time. This efficient work by the UPS store was not an exception. It is my preferred location for notary services and any UPS mailing needs I have. read more

I'm giving 2 stars. I drove further to ship my package at this place because it had better reviews. I had to ship my package to Macy's. Macys said ups shouldn't charge me for anything. I asked so I can print at ups? They said yes. Macy's told me it will be free. I came to this location a lady wanted me to pay 2.29$ for 1 printed paper. A one paper with my ups return label on it. Such a rip off! I paid anyway because I don't like wasting time. Also, Ups in Germantown charges only a 1.00$. Today I went to fed ex because they had a printing machine. Tell me why they only charge 19 cents to print out a paper. I printed out 3 return labels and it came out to 61 cents. This place is a rip off to print something out especially for a return label. Warning: this shopping center is chaotic! All of the shops are lined up and it doesn't help that the 24 hour Starbucks is right in the middle of this crazy mess. The UPS Store is located next to Duck Donuts and parking is slightly limited. I came in yesterday to do a return package and the lady that greeted me was extremely attentive! All I said was that I needed my package shipped and she graciously took care of everything. She taped up the box for me and took care of my printed shipping label. This UPS store is located right next to five guys, pet value and Jimmy Johns. I believe this store moved from the shopping center next to Boston Market and Burlington. I recognized the same employee. This store seems larger and more put together. Anytime I have needed to return anything especially from Amazon they are always willing to help. I had a blackboard easel that I needed to ship home from Gaithersburg, 48"X34"X10". I stopped in and spoke with Aiman on November 4th, and was assured that they would be able to make a box and ship it. On Sunday, November 5th, I brought the easel to the store to have it boxed and shipped. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the gentleman who assisted me on Sunday afternoon. He was certainly dismayed to see me arrive with the easel, but was wonderful, and worked hard to get it boxed and ready to go. Many thanks for the great service, while balancing the needs of the other customers who arrived while he was working on my package. Just an update to my last review. I still have my box and the Store has moved to a new location a while back. New location is still convenient and has parking right in front of the store. So I definitely got ripped off at this store. First I was charged $114 to ship something to the UK when I checked the post office and they would have charged me $37.50. And then I bought two rolls of bubble wrap ($2.99 each) and tape that was $7.99 and somehow my total came to $20.00. At most with tax, it should have been no more than $16.00. Never again. I should have gotten a receipt but didn't think I needed it. read more

It's a UPS Store. This place has outstanding customer service. Anytime I need to ship a package, (usually a return to Amazon.com) these people get the job done. It's a UPS Store. Yeah, how hard can it be? I know. It's a UPS Store. Well, let me tell you a story. I needed a package sent away. No, it wasn't to Amazon. I needed my box sealed/taped with a packaging label affixed. I could of taped it myself and printed and affixed the label to the box ahead of time, but I was being lazy. Took the open box to the representative at a USPS and the rep said I needed to buy the tape from her first in order for her to help me seal the cardboard box. Wow, really? U kitten meh? It was another 4 dollars and something for a roll of small packaging tape. Pressed for time, I just paid it. She weighed it and printed the label then stuck it on the box. I paid then left. I wasted money. Don't tell my wife (she'll find out when she reads this). Now I compare it to this UPS Store. It's a UPS Store. Same deal today. I had my unsealed box with no label affixed. Granted that I did print it out, but it wasn't affixed. Rep asked what I needed and I said, "I need this shipped". Gave him the label, which wasn't even cut and was still a full 8.5"x11" piece of paper, and he took it and folded it along the perforations and placed it in a clear label holder thing then stuck it on the box. He also taped the thang up without saying a word. He printed my receipt and I was on my way after a thanks and a goodbye. It's a UPS Store. It gets 5 Stars because it did its job and the rep was damn satisfied that he helped me. What else is there to say? It's a UPS Store. Oh, I can say one other thing, "USPS is dumb." read more

Brought a package with a pre-printed and paid for UPS slip. The lady at the front desks tells me my label is not readable and I need to reprint it. Now, there is a computer and printer right there but, of course, they are going to charge me for using it and for printing out a label. Again a UPS label in a UPS store. Makes total sense though. When I go to an Apple store with an iPhone that I already purchased they also charge me for the WiFi and for charging my phone there. read more

Came here to fax important work related documents as I moved from NY to MD. When ready to fax my document I lost the fax number on my drive to the UPS store. It was one of the worst days of my life as I had been having issues obtains documents to obtain my MD teaching license all day. There was a staff member there named Rafael that calmed me down and patiently waited with me as I waited for the email from the state that contained the fax number for the very important documents. The customer service here is amazing and I will continue to visit this store as long as the staff member Rafael is there. He was amazing and extremely helpful when I was having a bad day. read more

Perfect service all around! I was initially nervous as I was bringing in a large antique painting to package and ship. The women at the counter immediately made me feel at ease when she said that they do this all the time and are very used to taking care of packages of such nature. The store was busy and they immediately moved my painting out of harm's way. She went in the back to ensure they had the right size box in stock. Package arrived in 2 days to it's destination, safe and packaged well - no complaints to be had upon receipt. The women at the store won me over. They took great care of an antique large item. AVOID THIS PLACE! There's a FedEx a few blocks away. I needed to send an urgent parcel. Checked the UPS website to see when the pickup time was. Got to this UPS store BEFORE the pickup time -- it was a Saturday afternoon. They took my parcel and gave me a receipt with the time indicated BEFORE the pickup time! They THEN told me the UPS driver came EARLY and my parcel would NOT go out until Monday! They said I could drive around town looking for the driver or I could go to the UPS warehouse off Shady Grove Rd. -- miles away. I went to the UPS warehouse -- it was CLOSED! I couldn't even get into the parking lot. The gate was padlocked! How do they not know UPS's hours? I then called UPS. They claimed their franchises aren't really UPS, so it wasn't really UPS's fault. (Yeah right -- it's a UPS Store and it was a UPS driver, but it's not UPS's fault!) They then claimed the "last pick up time" isn't really meant to be the last time to drop off packages, but rather it's the latest time that their drivers can collect from the store. WHAT???? They then told me to go to UPS in Darnestown, which they claimed had a later pick up time. While on the phone with them, I checked the UPS website -- that store already had its last scheduled pick up!! Would have been another wasted trip! When I questioned the UPS agent, he admitted he gave me the wrong information. UPS repeatedly gave me wrong information. They screwed up REPEATEDLY. They didn't take responsibility for their errors. They did not attempt to rectify the situation when it was CLEARLY their fault. No one took responsibility. No one cared. read more
