This FedEx has helped me in a bind more than once! Their printing services are spectacular and I've always had great customer service. Even when I'm unsure about my plan of attack for a project, they are diligent in giving me the best options. It's quick and easy to pop in here with a USB drive and print out whatever I need on my own. This is ideal for large print jobs so I don't have to waste the ink in my printer at home! Just recently I needed custom labels printed and I was able to bring in my own sheet sticker paper. The associate at FedEx printed the job for me behind the counter, and for a few extra dollars they even cut all 120 labels out for me! Such a time saver. Along with printers and computers you can find plenty of office supplies here for sale as well. Of course it's a convenient spot for shipping and they will take your passport photos too. Sometimes I have to wait a while to be helped initially, but that's only when they are working on multiple projects at once. For the most part though, it's speedy and helpful service. Even if I have to wait a few minutes, Starbucks is conveniently located a few doors down! read more

I can't believe I'm rating a FedEx office store 5 stars, but hear me out - this guy who works there, Rhett, is a freakin superstar. I got there at 9pm last night and assumed I'd have to go through the same disastrous rigamarole I go through at the north Naperville location - buy an entire ream of card stock for the one sheet I'm going to use, utilize the gross computer workstations, pay by the minute to race through printing a PDF I needed, and then head home and cut it down to 8x10 as carefully as my non-crafty ass can. It would cost approx $20 when done and I would leave annoyed. But I was wrong. The guy working behind the counter saw me looking everywhere for an overpriced ream of card stock and offered to help. I emailed to .pdf to the store email address, he printed it on cardstock, cut it down to size for me, and bagged it so I couldn't ruin it before I got home. The whole thing took 45 seconds and cost me $1.44. I left satisfied and not infuriated. I know it seems like a small thing but the usual customer service at FedEx office places is so horrible that I was seriously standing there with my jaw on the floor as this guy helped me! If you need friendly, competent service and can't imagine you'd find it at FedEx Office stores, head here and let them prove you wrong - I was pleasantly surprised. read more

It was time to print out several copies of my 108-page Master's thesis, and I knew I didn't want to use up a bunch of my own ink cartridges. I'd never printed anything through FedEx Office before, so I went online to see how it would work. Apparently you can set up a printing job online through their website, which is super-convenient since I didn't have to go there and wait! And I was really lucky, as I happened to be printing it out right at the tail-end of a 50%-off online printing sale, which saved me like $24. Sah-WEET. When I picked up my copies the next morning, the girl behind the counter was friendly. One minor complaint: I asked for four binder clips, one for each copy, assuming that she'd give them to me for free since, y'know, I'd already spent a bunch of $$ there printing them out. Nope! Had to pay for a whole box. Not a big deal, but I kind of felt nickel-and-dimed. Giving out a few binder clips now and again CAN'T be a significant loss in sales. I thought about using FedEx to ship three of my copies to my thesis committee (who are out-of-state), but the cheapest shipping option would have set me back at least $54...ouch. I decided to go with USPS. read more

$1 per page a fax seems high, but my antiquated fax machine (a Brother Intellifax950) died this morning, with its last breath it beeped and moaned "Machine ERROR 81" repeatedly until I mercifully pulled its plug and sent it to a better place. Ok, back to Kinko's. After trying to receive a fax from several other locations (thinking these small businesses may not know how to use their machines) I popped into Kinko's. The girl behind the counter was a riot. I blabbed to her all about everything regarding this fax - a HUGE Fax drama, she even said she would give me a call if my fax ever did actually arrive that way I didn't have to wait around. Very helpful, again, not sure about the cost $1 a page seems high but I inherited my Faxosauras from my dad 15 years ago and never had to buy toner, etc. so I am not sure what the cost actually is per page. The do offer a lot though, banner printing, book binding, business cards, copiers and WiFi. 10-9-07 6:10 PM 6 Hours later and what do you know I get a call from Stephanie at Kinko's that my fax did actually arrive - not written in crayon like I had imagined, but close. We had another laugh. My bill for a 3 page incoming and 1 page out going $4.50 - not sure how they charge 50 cents in tax since that would be more than 10 percent and the tax rate out here is 6.75........ oh well, finally the drama is finished. read more

I really like this FedEx facility. Liked it when it was just Kinkos and think they are better now. The staff is very helpful. From shipping to printing and copying. I am almost always unprepared for shipping when I get there and they either do things for me or help me figure it out. I once walked in with a laptop that I needed to ship to my wife in Singapore ( there for work) they boxed it for me securely and helped me figure out the least painful ($) way to get it there. I always have a high level of confidence doing business here. read more

I called Fedex to ask if a specific item can be shipped to Canada. They assured me that it could be shipped with no issues. We paid over $25 to ship it and it was returned as rejected by customs. They are refusing to refund me my $25. They do not take responsibility for giving me the wrong information. I literally asked beforehand! Is this not their business? Should they not know what they can ship? Don't trust these guys! I consider this stealing. read more

Absolutely awful experience!!!!! Mike the manager at this store, put the wrong shipping label on my package and I never saw my belongings again. He proceeded to lie about the entire situation and all I wanted was some effort to get my stuff back. I will never use fed ex ever again!!!!! read more

We were in a bind because our wireless printer/scanner didn't like the new IP address we gave it, and we needed to send some tax info to a relative, so we decided to fax it from FedEx. The staff wasn't overly helpful, and the fax wound up costing like $2.49... Note to self: Slap the printer. read more

Believe this is my 2nd time coming here. Both times received excellent service! 1st time, while back, I had shipped out an eBay item I sold. That guy was really helpful. This time I needed to laminate my 2 - 17" x 6" art posters, which were starting to wrinkle if I didn't get it "protected" & I didn't want to frame them. So, I came here to get it taken care of. Before I cme here, I called & spoke to Michelle (pretty sure that's her name), she was helpful & courteous. When I got here, she greeted me while she was with a customer (plus for acknowledging a customer), and Jon asked if I needed help, he was helpful & nice. He also warned me about the possibility of the lamination bubbling. The artwork wasn't expensive so I wasn't too concerned. One turned out perfectly & the other one had a wrinkled line, not too bad, maybe I can try to iron it out over something else. :p read more

I've recently used FedEx Office to ship two separate packages on two different occasions. Each time, I was very impressed by their customer service. I basically handed them the package and they completed all the information. I needed additional packaging tape and they took care of that; no problem! I was extremely happy with how helpful Seneca was when I visited the store the other day. I had a lot of questions, and he went above and beyond to try and format a document to make sure it printed the right way. I'm not usually one to write a review, but my experience at this particular Fedex, on multiple occasions, has been horrendous. The manager is beyond rude, which would actually be tolerable just to get business needs met at a close location, but he's also completely incompetent and ignorant to the facts surrounding international document mailing. On top of this, more than once I've needed to use a printer and 2 of the 3 are inoperable. This also would be tolerable (hey, things break down) if this was actually sign posted, but I wasn't made aware of the situation until after The machine had deducted $40 from my card. The manager was rude about it stating it had been inoperable all afternoon (so put a sign up?!) and then after 25 minutes of him seeing to other customers before tending to my refund (or to the pressing document I needed printed off and sent) I left for a different venue 20 minutes further than my base location. In general, I have a very positive experience with Fed Ex, but this location needs a management shake-up (and industry training on basic international shipment and handling) or to be shut down before it taints the entire brand. read more

This location is the highest priced in town but i assumed I would get the best quality prints in the most timely manner. Was told my job would take 1-1/2 hours. Finally called 3 hours later only to hear they had just completed my job. Guess they ran out of 24x36" paper so they ran the document on larger paper and tried to cut it down to size. So, of course, the 7 pages in each set were different sizes. Would have expected better on a $300 job. Didn't even offer any discount for a late, crappy job. Guess it's great for simple copying, but I will definitely take my business some place that takes pride in their work. read more

A couple days before we were moving out of state, we had to ship something important to our new destination and needed the overnight/time sensitive option and we were pleased with the service we received. Raven was the girl at the counter (Naperville 75th location) who assisted us. This was our first time dealing with "time sensitive" delivery as we were in a bind with something related to our moving truck. Raven was very helpful in explaining our different options/costs. She was was extremely patient with our questions and indecisiveness and remained patient with us while we had to pick up a couple very important phone calls (related to our shipment). She understood our situation and helped ease our stress. She had excellent customer service skills and was very personable and carried conversation with us really well. Walked in before Christmas to send a critical fax. Last year I did the same thing, helpful staff showed me how I could be assured my fax was sent by showing me a copy of what was faxed with the faxing info printed on it. Was ignored for 7 minutes while 3 employees discussed some FedEx package problem. I was patient because it was almost Christmas and also time for the FedEx guy to arrive, but I was on a deadline as well. Faxing these two papers meant $2000 for me. Then I asked for the service I got last year and the teenage "manager" told me there was NO WAY that happened last year, that he worked there then and they had no such service. Told me to just use the fax machine. Oh, how I love being called an idiot by someone who isn't legal drinking age. He told me to "buy a card" at the machine to use the fax. I bought a $5 card, and the fax machine did not work. "Oh", says teenager, "the Internet is out right now." SO WHY DID YOU HAVE ME BUY A FREAKING CARD TO USE YOUR NON WORKING FAX? Then he refused to refund my $5 saying "you can use it in the future". Except I won't. There's a UPS store across the street and I will never set food in that FedEx store again. UPS store had me faxed and confirmed for $2 in 2 minutes with a smile, and they were about to close. read more
