I can't believe I'm rating a FedEx office store 5 stars, but hear me out - this guy who works…read morethere, Rhett, is a freakin superstar. I got there at 9pm last night and assumed I'd have to go through the same disastrous rigamarole I go through at the north Naperville location - buy an entire ream of card stock for the one sheet I'm going to use, utilize the gross computer workstations, pay by the minute to race through printing a PDF I needed, and then head home and cut it down to 8x10 as carefully as my non-crafty ass can. It would cost approx $20 when done and I would leave annoyed. But I was wrong. The guy working behind the counter saw me looking everywhere for an overpriced ream of card stock and offered to help. I emailed to .pdf to the store email address, he printed it on cardstock, cut it down to size for me, and bagged it so I couldn't ruin it before I got home. The whole thing took 45 seconds and cost me $1.44. I left satisfied and not infuriated. I know it seems like a small thing but the usual customer service at FedEx office places is so horrible that I was seriously standing there with my jaw on the floor as this guy helped me! If you need friendly, competent service and can't imagine you'd find it at FedEx Office stores, head here and let them prove you wrong - I was pleasantly surprised.

We didn't find anything while looking so we went to leave (you have to exit through the line and past the register), my husband happened to look back & saw a Staples employee pointing her iPad at us, she quickly went to put it down & my husband saw the camera app open on her iPad. Clearly she thought we were stealing but soon realized we weren't as the sensors did not go off upon our exit. We have never in our lives stolen anything let alone committed a crime. I almost went back in to have it out with said employee, as we did not consent to have our picture taken. Not that it should matter, however, we were dressed causally (my husband was in a black tee & khakis while I was in an all black athleisure outfit), well groomed & literally just pursuing the store. Staples has officially lost our business given our atrocious experience.

Akash spent 20 minutes going over all the advantages of laser printers and ink jet printers. He was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. Staples is lucky to have him as an employee.

BIG PACKAGE   Amazon…read morereturns are generally hassle-free at this printing/shipping center on Boughton.   Bolingbrook's UPS Store sits at the end of a strip mall anchored by Kohl's, next to a small beauty supply store and nondescript furniture outlet.  I find myself checking in here once every few months for a package dropoff and most of the time, I'm in and out of here in 2 minutes max.  I've contemplated leaving my car's engine running if no one else is around, it's that speedy.   Last visit, I had to wait for WAY longer than usual, and for something so simple -- a QR code scan takes all of ten seconds -- it was pretty frustrating.  The person working at that time should've asked who had quick drop-offs and prioritized us, instead of handling the complicated requests one at a time and making the line of 5-6 people stand around (it was a solid 15 minutes of twiddling our thumbs).   * TL;DR *   And the award for the least-exciting review of 2022 goes to....The UPS Store. At least gas stations have snacks; alas there's nothing edible here. I can assure you my next Yelp entry will be written with a much more adventuresome spirit (did someone say kayak??)
