I shipped a package through FedEx last week for an eBay order, purchasing the shipping label through eBay. The package weighed less that 10 lbs according to my postal scale at home. I checked different weights for the shipping charges through eBay and it was the same price all the way up to 20 (or maybe even more) pounds, so I decided to put 15 pounds on the label just to make sure, since it was a larger box and my scale is small and awkward to use with larger boxes. When I dropped it off at the FedEx office, I put it on their scale and verified that it was in fact under 10 lbs. Today I got an email from eBay saying there was an adjustment to my shipping bill and they were billing me extra because supposedly the package was 27 pounds! It was literally less than 10 pounds. I called the 800 number and they said I would have to go through eBay to get it investigated. It was only a couple of dollars, but it is the principle of the matter, and that they lied. Anyone who works for a shipping company knows damned well the difference between 10 and 27 pounds. I also called the location where I dropped it off and he couldn't be bothered with trying to help me (Rob in Norwalk, CT at the Westport Ave location). I strongly recommend that if anyone drops off a package they get the weight confirmed (they don't print it on the receipt like the USPS does...makes it easier to scam and say it weighed more than it did.) Very aggravated that FedEx would be so dishonest and basically there is no recourse, so I decided to write a review. Also, from the photo of the package on the recipient's doorstep, it looks like they crushed the outer box even though it said "FRAGILE" all over it. SMH... Zero stars if possible. Only went to print a large file. Printer wasn't working! One employee in the store, no customers in the store yet no help. When I went to follow up with one employee, she told me she forgot about me! Horrendous! Absolutely unacceptable. You lost my business. I'll do the work from home next time. read more

Went to my local FedEx Office to print out my portfolio which I needed printed for a class the next day and Amber at the Westport Ave, Norwalk office was super helpful. All my questions were answered and became informed about not only the quality of but also the printing process through visually being shown the products available on site. Amber not only understood the assignment but delivered exactly what I wanted with the breakdown of the process. Went in knowing I needed a portfolio came out with a book like finish product that was done all within an hour time frame! read more

The WiFi was so bad I couldn't download a 50 page PDF to be printed it was a waste of time!

The people here are always helpful and very nice. They sometimes even give me extra packaging materials and they always provide tape, which is something that not all shipping companies do. Rob in particular is an excellent employee, he is very nice and patient! read more

Mid March of this Year I sent my Golf Clubs via Fed Ex to Pinehurst NC. I went in to Fed Ex Wedenesday Evening, told them I needed my golf clubs in Pinehurst NC on Friday Noon time. Agent told me the Golf Clubs would be there or I wouldn't have to pay 166 dollars charge! (Plus 10 bucks for the box.) As that was more than my flight cost I was quite amazed but I needed the clubs shipped. I told her please don't ship them unless you could guarantee they would be in Pinehurst Friday noon as that's when I was going to be there. She said no problem. Friday I was in Pinehurst but the golf clubs never arrived. The Golf Pro called Fed Ex and spoke to a nice customer service agent. I was told I purchased two day shipping and as far as they were concerned the Golf Clubs would get there on Monday, as I had come in after 9PM on Wednesday evening, and that would not count as a day of the the two days. I explained nicely that I told the Fed Ex agent that I needed the clubs there Friday, and she had selected the shipping arrangements and told me the costs. I ended up paying an additional 15 dollars for Saturday Delivery and figured I would take it up with Fed Ex later on when my trip ended, and rented clubs for the day. Saturday came but my Golf Clubs didn't. Fed Ex agent was very nice again, very apologetic, told me that I would not have to pay the 15 bucks. I asked them not to ship the clubs down as I was coming back Monday . The Fed Ex phone agent assured me this would not be a problem. I asked the Fed Ex Agent what they do in situations like this, he told me send my rental bills to them and he would see if they would pay. Of course the Golf Clubs arrived on Monday, as Fed Ex had viewed my purchase in this way. The Golf Course refused Delivery, and the Golf Clubs ultimately went to Pinehurst but never got used there. When I returned home, the clubs came back three days later. A few Days after this, Fed Ex sent me a letter that they would not pay my Golf Club Rental Bill, very sporting of them. It would seem to me that a large company like this, who sponors the Fedex Cup for Golf and advertises everywhere that golfers should use their services would be more on the case than this. All their customer service agents seemed very nice, but you would think that they are a company that is connected to Golf like this would do something to mollify someone who payed $176 to ship their clubs who didn't receive them. They made me feel like I was the one who screwed up, when in fact they are responsible for how I was handled by all their employees. As a result of my treatment at the hands of Big Company like Fed Ex, where they made me feel like I caused the issue, and they they didn't do anything to make it right beyond shipping my golf clubs back to me, Fed Ex Golf Club Shipping is not a service I would recommend to anyone. I think that all companies have customer experience service issues from time to time, this happens in business. I just think that they need to find a way to make things right with their customer's and not make a customer feel like they did something wrong by using their services. They should know what they are doing, and take responsibility when things go wrong and make it right by their customers.
