Customer service at this location this morning was condescending and disrespectful when employee was asked for help. I needed some documents faxed and after he responded, I let him know his behavior was rude. He offered a non apology mumble - basically I'm sorry you feel that way, he didn't care - so I just left. I think most people working here don't enjoy their jobs because they always seem put out but this was next level. Thankfully we'd gone to the Mail Biz store on Hilltop a couple weeks ago for different services but I decided to see if they could fax and they absolutely do. I found out they offer a lot of the same services as fed ex and their costs are quite a bit less. Oh and their customer service has been excellent both times we've gone. This is a nice stand alone Fed Ex shipping office that has other services as well, like copy and printing. Good parking and not super crowded. Sometimes I use this office to send stuff when I'm closer to this one than the one at the airport. Shipping goes a lot faster of you set up an account where you can just bill your shipping to and print shipping labels at home on the printer. That way all you do is drop off the package and no fuss at all. In and out fast. When I need to ship over night, Fed Ex is the way to go. If I only need ground shipping, I use UPS then. read more

Manager was super friendly and helpful when I came to pick up my spiral bound books. The books were perfectly done! Especially when studying books and even reading it's so hard to read in a regular book format! It's so much easier this way! And it's actually not that expensive. Steve here is one of the worst representatives I've ever seen represent any company. I had 2 packages going to the exact spot but only one label as the fedex website was having issues and provided me only 1 QR code. He didn't want to help me buy another label or assist me with my missing QR code, and told me to purchase another label for my second box online. The one label I was able to print and attach to one of my packages he received and threw onto the table at the receiving area. unacceptable. it's okay to have bad days, but we all have jobs to do. FedEx was going through renovations when I visited to print out my Master's thesis, so the place was a bit messy. I made the silly mistake of using their computer services ($0.30/minute for basic services) and printed out 13 pages of colored printing... which apparently turned out to be around $1.00/page. I was completely taken aback by this price because I noticed that if you used the self-service printer, colored printing costs $0.55/page. I expressed this concern to one of the employees, Mark, who fabulously assisted me with canceling the charges on my credit card and just charged me the basic price on colored printing. While he fixed the charges on my credit card, he also made conversation with me and was all-around helpful and cheerful employee! Mark is clearly the best employee at the store. I would have given this place 5 stars, but I have to dock them 1 star for their binding services. I wanted to have my thesis bound with a specific binding type but they informed me that in order to bind my document with that type, they had to ship it to Chico's FedEx Center, where they would bind the document, and then, ship it back to this location. It was too much of a hassle, so I found another store to help me with binding. read more

A girl I know personally shipped her painting through FEDEX and FedEx did not take the proper precautions to ensure the package arrived safely, and not damaged. That was a couple of days before I had a personal bad experience myself. I ordered a live plant online and not only did I catch them handling the package roughly, dropping the box on our door step the wrong way resulting in a extremely damaged plant. I filed a claim, sent them pictures and also stated I had a video on my RING camera. Days later I receive paper mail from them denying my claim. Thanks FedEx. The customer service here was simply unacceptable for me. Kit was very condescending and would interrupt me before I could finish explaining what I wanted. After he would interrupt me, he would assume that he knew exactly what I would want and would go away for minutes at a time without letting me know what he thought was best or what his plans were. His impatience and inability to listen ended up in him printing 3x the amount of product that I had wanted, and overcharging me quite a bit. I brought up the issue of the miscommunication to who I can only assume was the manager and he handled it quite nicely, but the atmosphere here is not great. Is there any good reason to let my package sit in your facility for four days because the shipper didn't scheduled it to be delivered early? Never in my life have i been treated so rudely by a service representative at fedex. She was the only employee working, i was the only customer. I had just driven 400 miles and realized I'd forgotten to leave my house key for the person checking my apartment and feeding my rabbit. I needed to overnight. She said no since it was 8pm Saturday night, and no service Sundays, so it wouldn't send until Monday, getting it there Tuesday. I asked her why i would be paying overnight fees when it wouldn't arrive for 3 days, she answered, how do i know? Maybe You should turn around and drive back! Then she talked on and on trying to engage my son in conversation about a completely inappropriate movie instead of helping me send my package. But when I had to call this center from out of state to track down a transaction that was involving 2 other outside companies, I was impressed at how helpful and courteous staff member John was. I had 2 packages shipped from here on Dec. 19, both to southern California. I verified both addresses on the screen. As I was rung up I asked to use the coupon that was emailed to me. Employee sighed audibly and said he had to start all over again. My son was getting restless, so I didn't realize he never applied my coupon. I again verified the addresses, he printed the labels, slapped them on the boxes and gave me a dilvery date of Dec 22. Awesome! Or it would have been if the right labels had gotten on the right boxes. Fast forward to Dec. 22. I get a text from one recipient stating he got the other person's box. Great. Called the other person (my mother in law) who verified she just received the wrong box as well. The second person took the box back to FedEx and had to pay to ship it to the right person. The other called FedEx who set up a pick up next business day. Fast forward to today. Mother in law still hasn't gotten her package. I called FedEx and spoke with a lady. "According to our notes, several attempts were made to pick it up from the wrong house. Oh, it says the last time our delivery spoke with the person who scheduled the pick up who said it had already been picked up......Oh! I'm seeing a status update for Dec. 29, today! Here we go, it's in Chicago." I said that didn't make any sense since the package was an hour from its destination when the driver picked it up. Nervous mumbling, "Ma'am can I put you on hold while I figure this out?" A few minutes later she comes back, "Okay, so it was loaded on a truck this morning for delivery and should be there in the next 2 business days, so by Wednesday or Thursday." I asked, "So, it's not in Chicago then?" "It's in transit." That. Doesn't. Help. Me. I asked for a tracking number, which she said she couldn't give me, but she offered me a case number. Probably because you can't track a package's travel history with a case number. Very disappointed in how this was handled, including the sloppy way it started out. read more

I have come here several times, for basic printing and shipping tasks. The service has always been ok, nothing special. Tonight I went here to print some things and the automated center kept erroring on me. The guy behind the counter (named Kit) went out of his way to get my stuff printed and gave me a refund on the previous things that errored.
